You hear that EVP, bud? It’s the all new, extra spook-tacular, Ghost Echo™ calling out
from beyond the void! The Ghost Echo is our spooky take on the haunted amp-top spring
reverberation units of yesteryear. This creepy analog/digital spring reverb emulation
machine boasts a terrifying 30ms – 150ms of pre-delay, controllable via the Attack
knob, for everything from a quick, rockabilly slapback, to viscous pools of ectoplasmic
reverberations. When playing staccato, you’ll hear the tortured trails of the reverb,
resulting in more of a slapback, or echo sound. Legato playing will reveal a massive
ambient “depth” that fattens up the sound – and look out it’s right behind you!
Phew, that was close. The Dwell control sets the length and thickness of the decay,
which is to say that it controls how long the disembodied spirits of notes no longer with us
oat through the ether; at the maximum setting, it will decend into an innite loop of self
oscillation. The Depth sets the intensity of the reverb, which you probably know as the
wet/dry mix, but we like to think of it more as how scary the overall effect is.
The Ghost Echo is true bypass and built one at a time by a team of friendly ghosts in the
never-ending hall of funhouse mirrors that is Akron, Ohio, USA.
Controls
Attack: Adjusts the length of the pre-delay, from 30ms at minimum to about 150ms
at maximum. When the Dwell is set to self-oscillate, this will change the pitch of the
oscillations.
Dwell: Adjusts the length of the decay. This will start to self oscillate around 3 o’clock. The
pitch of the oscillations can be changed by turning the Attack control.
Depth: Mixes in the wet signal with the dry. Unity is around noon and everything after is
boosted.
Power
This device take a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel.
We always recommend pedal-specic, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies
or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or
unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specic
power supplies do not lter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT
RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!

Federhall-Emulations-Gerät bietet furchterregende 30-150ms PreDelay, das über den

Puh, das war knapp. Der “Dwell”-Regler bestimmt die Länge und Dichte des Decays, das

Regler
Attack: Bestimmt die Dauer des PreDelays, von 30-150ms. Ist der Dwell-Regler auf
Selbst-Oszillation eingestellt, verändert dieser Regler die Tonhöhe der Oszillation.
Dwell: Steuert die Länge des Decay. Die Selbst-Oszillation setzt bei ca. 3-Uhr ein, die
Tonhöhe der Oszillation kann durch Drehen des Attack-Reglers verändert werden.
Depth: Mischt dem Dry-Signal das Wet-Signal hinzu. Ausgewogen ist der Mixanteil in der
Mittelstellung. Darüber ist das Wet-Signal lauter.
Stromversorgung
Dieses Gerät sollte mit einem Standard-9V-Netzteil betrieben werden (2,1mm,
center negative). Wir empfehlen immer für Pedale bestimmte, isolierte Netzteile oder
eine Stromversorgung mit mehreren isolierten Anschlüssen. Pedale produzieren
Störgeräusche, wenn sie mit unreinem Strom versorgt werden. Schaltnetzteile,
Daisychains und nicht auf Pedale ausgelegte Netzteile ltern verschmutzten Strom
nicht zufriedenstellend und produzieren ungewollte Störgeräusche. Nicht mit höheren
Voltzahlen betreiben!

Schaltung

Ghost Echo è la nostra interpretazione del riverbero a molle presente nelle unità amp-

dispone di un pre-delay compreso tra 30ms e 150ms, controllabile tramite la manopola
Attack, per impostare qualsiasi sonorità: dal rapido slapback in stile rockabilly ai riverberi
vintage più rigogliosi. Eseguendo parti in staccato sentirai la scia del riverbero, risultando
in qualcosa di più di un effetto slapback o eco. L’esecuzione in legato permetterà di
scoprire un’imponente profondità d’ambiente, che arricchisce il segnale con una sonorità
di tipo Plate.
Il controllo Dwell imposta la lunghezza e lo spessore del decadimento, e il controllo Depth
imposta l’intensità del riverbero – pensa a questo controllo come ad una regolazione del
mix wet / dry.

Alimentazione
I nostri pedali fanno uso di alimentatori DC standard a 9 volt, dotati di connettore barrel
da 2.1mm con polo negativo al centro. Raccomandiamo sempre l’uso di alimentatori
specici per pedali, con trasformatore isolato di tipo da parete, oppure alimentatori con
uscite multiple isolate. I pedali generano rumore extra nel caso in cui l’alimentazione
presenti un’oscillazione residua o sia poco pulita. Gli alimentatori di tipo switching, quelli
per il collegamento a catena oppure gli alimentatori non specici per pedali, non ltrano
l’alimentazione non pulita e lasciano passare rumori indesiderati. Non operare mai con
tensioni più elevate!

Entends-tu ce cri mon ami ? C’est la toute nouvelle Ghost Echo™, fascinante et effrayante
qui rugit du fond de l’abîme. La Ghost Echo est une réinterprétation des appareils des
appareils de réverbe à ressort « hantés »* d’autrefois. Cette machine analogique/
numérique simulant une réverbe à ressort peut se vanter d’un pre-delay terriant de
30 ms - 150 ms, contrôlable via le bouton « Attack », pour des sons allant du slapback
rockabilly rapide à des piscines de réverbération ectoplasmique. Lorsque vous jouez
stacatto, vous entendrez la résonnance torturée de la réverbe qui génère encore plus de
slapback et d’écho. Jouer en légato révélera une « profondeur » ambiante et massive qui
épaissit le son, comme une présence, juste derrière vous !
Tout près de vous... Le réglage « Dwell » agit sur la durée et l’épaisseur du decay, ou
plutôt le temps que l’esprit désincarné des notes trépassées passera à otter dans
l’éther... Réglé au maximum, il générera une boucle innie d’auto-oscillation. Le réglage
Depth agit sur l’intensité de la réverbe. Vous connaissez probablement sous le nom de «
wet/dry mix ». C’est celui qui permet de rendre l’effet plus ou moins effrayant.
Les Ghost Echo sont true bypass et fabriquées une par une, par une équipe de gentils
fantôme dans le palais des glaces perpétuel d’Akron, Ohio aux Etats-Unis.
Réglages
Attack : ajuste la longueur du pre-delay, de 30 ms minimum à 150 ms maximum. Quand
le réglage Dwell est réglé pour auto-osciller, il modiera le pitch des oscillations.
Dwell : Ajuste la longueur du decay. Il commencera auto-osciller autour de 3 h, le pitch
des oscillations peut être modié en tournant le réglage Attack.
Depth : Mélange le signal wet et dry. Le niveau unitaire se trouve aux environs de 12 h.
Au-delà, tout sera boosté.
Alimentation
Cette pédale fonctionne avec une alimentation standard 9 V CC avec che d’alimentation
2,1 mm (centre négatif). Nous recommandons toujours l’utilisation d’adaptateurs secteur
isolés ou d’alimentation multiple isolées spéciques à la pédale. Les pédales produiront
d’avantage de bruit en cas d’ondulation de courant ou de parasites. Les alimentations
à switch, les alimentations en série et les adaptateurs non-conçus pour des pédales
ne sont pas à même de ltrer le courant et laisseront également passer des bruits non
souhaités. Ne faites pas fonctionner cet appareil sous de hautes tensions !

zpoza prázdnoty! Řečeno civilněji – je to náš pokus o oživení pronásledovaných*
zvuků zesilovačů s efektem pružinového reverbu dob minulých. Tato podivná emulace
analogového/digitálního pružinového reverbu pracuje s mimořádnou dobou zpoždění
prvotních odrazů v rozsahu od 30 do 150 ms (nastavitelnou přes ovladač Attack). Díky
této funkci vytvoříte rychlý rockabilly slapback i zlověstné záplavy ektoplasmatické
reverbace. Při hře staccato uslyšíte „mučené“ dozvuky reverbu, které se promění v efekt
slapback, a nebo v ozvěnu. Hrajete-li legato, objeví se masivní prostorné „hloubky“, které
učiní zvuk pevnějším. Pozor, je to přímo vedle tebe!
Uf, to bylo o fous. Pomocí ovladače Dwell si nastavíte délku a sílu doznívání, respektive
dobu, po kterou s námi budou nehmotná kouzla plout éterem. Při maximálním nastavení
budou sestupovat do nekonečné smyčky samo-oscilace. Ovladačem Depth dále
nastavujete intenzitu reverbu. Tento parametr znáte možná jako mix mezi čistým signálem
a signálem efektu. Nás ale baví o tom přemýšlet o něco více dramaticky.
Efektový pedál Ghost Echo pracuje s režimem true bypass a vyráběn jen týmem
přátelských duchů v zrcadlovém domě v Akronu, v americkém Ohiu.
Ovládání
Attack: Nastavuje délku prvotních odrazů od 30 ms až do 150 ms při maximálním
nastavení. Pokud je parametr Dwell nastaven do samo-oscilace, tento parametr změní
ladění oscilace.
Dwell: Nastavuje délku dozvuku. Při nastavení okolo 3. hodiny přejde efekt do samo-
oscilace. Ladění oscilace je možné změnit pomocí parametru Attack.
Depth: Mix mezi čistým signálem a efektem. Stejný poměr je okolo „poledne“, vše za touto
pozicí je „silnější“.
Napájení
Naše pedály jsou napájeny standardním 9V DC zdrojem s 2,1mm konektorem a polaritou
minus na středu. Vždy doporučujeme použití specického napájecího zdroje či multi-
adaptéru s izolovanými výstupy. V případě špatného napájení budou pedály generovat
více šumu. Adaptéry, které neodpovídají specikaci pedálu, nedokáží tak dobře odltrovat
„špinavé“ napětí a propouštějí nežádoucí šum. Neprovozujte pedál při vyšším napětí.
