EN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Safety notes
!
Ensure that the electrical lines are de-energised before installation. Installation is only permit-
ted by electricians in compliance with local legislation.
2. Installation
Placement
The detector responds to movements and heat in its environment. Avoid an installation in close proximity to
stoves, electrical heaters, fans or other moveable objects as they may trigger an unintended activation (2).
The presence detector is designed for ceiling mounting.
Range
To reduce the detection area the enclosed half-shells can be clamped between lens and cover. The detec-
tor’s recommended mounting height is 2 to 3,5 m (1).
The range of the presence detector may be increased with up to 10 secondary presence detectors edition
UP Art. No 41752 or edition AP Art. No 41753.Ensure an approximate 30% overlap of the detection areas for
disruption-free detection when using several detectors.
Wiring
Wire the presence detector according to the wiring diagram (5). All DALI devices are wired in parallel. The
Master device automatically recognises connected DALI devices.
Do not connect additional DALI power supplies nor multiple Master devices as it would damage the DALI
coils as well as the presence detectors.

The presence detector contains an in-built DALI power supply.
Do not connect an external DALI power supply.
3. Setup mode «Out of the box»
Connect the presence detector to mains voltage only after the installation is completely wired. Respect an
approx. 40 s warm-up delay after mains connection for the detector be operational. The DALI ballasts willl be
automatically recognised by the presence detector. As soon as the detector is connected to mains voltage,
all connected lights switch on and the presence detector works in On/Off mode. The delay time is set to
15 min. All zones may be switched on and off via the connected 230 V push-buttons or via the P-IR remote
control. All 230 V push-buttons will have the same functionality.
Note: All LEDs (red, blue, yellow, green) flash alternately, showing that the presence detector is in «Out-of-
the-box» mode.

DE INSTALLATIONSANLEITUNG
1. Sicherheitshinweise
!
Vor der Installation prüfen, dass die elektrischen Leitungen spannungsfrei sind.
Die Installation darf nur durch Elektrofachpersonal unter Einhaltung der landesüblichen Vor-
schriften erfolgen.
2. Installation
Montage
Der Melder reagiert auf Wärme und Bewegung in der Umgebung. Eine Platzierung in der Nähe von Wärme-
quellen (Herd, E-Heizkörper, Lüftungsanlage oder sich bewegende Gegenständen) ist zu vermeiden. Dies
kann zu Fehleinschaltung führen (2). Der Melder ist zur Deckenmontage vorgesehen.
Reichweite
Zur Bereichsreduktion können die beiliegenden Halbschalen zwischen Linse und Abdeckung geklemmt
werden.
Die für den Melder empfohlene Installationshöhe beträgt 2–3,5 m (1).
Der Erfassungsbereich kann mit bis zu 10 Sekundär-Präsenzmelder Edition UP Art.-Nr. 41752 oder Edition
AP Art.-Nr. 41753 erweitert werden. Um beim Einsatz mehrerer Melder eine komplette Deckung zu er-
reichen, empfiehlt es sich, mit einer Überlappung von ca. 30% zu rechnen.
Verdrahtung
Der Melder ist gemäss den Anschlussplänen anzuschliessen (5). Alle DALI-Geräte werden parallel verdrah-
tet. Der Master-Melder erkennt die DALI-Geräte automatisch.
Es dürfen weder zusätzlichen DALI-Stromversorgungen angeschlossen sein noch mehrere Master-Melder,
da dies sowohl die DALI-Spulen als auch die Melder zerstören würde.

Der Melder verfügt über eine eingebaute DALI-Stromversorgung,
es darf keine externe DALI-Stromversorgung angeschlossen werden.
3. Einrichtungs Modus «Out of the box»
Der Melder darf erst an die Netzspannung angeschlossen werden, wenn alle Leitungsverbindungen ver-
drahtet sind. Nach dem Anschluss der Spannung ist der Melder nach ca. 40 s. (Aufwärmzeit) betriebsbereit.
Die DALI-Vorschaltgeräte werden vom Melder automatisch erkannt. Wenn der Melder an die Spannungs-
versorgung angeschlossen ist, leuchten alle angeschlossenen Leuchten, und der Melder funktioniert als
Ein-/Aus-Melder für alle. Die Nachlaufzeit beträgt 15 min. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, alle Zonen über die
angeschlossenen 230 V Drucktaster oder über die P-IR Fernbedienung ein- und auszuschalten. Alle 230 V
Drucktaster haben die gleiche Funktion.
Hinweis: Alle LEDs (rot, blau, gelb, grün) blinken abwechselnd, um anzuzeigen, dass der Melder im «Out-of-
the-box» Modus ist.

FR MODE D’EMPLOI
1. Consignes de sécurité
!
Avant l’installation, vérifier la mise hors tension des câbles. L’installation doit exclusivement
être effectuée par des électriciens spécialisés dans le respect des normes nationales.
2. Installation
Positionnement
Le détecteur réagit aux mouvements et à la chaleur dans l’environnement concerné. Eviter de le positionner
à proximité de «sources thermiques» telles qu’appareils chauffants, radiateurs, ventilations ou éléments
susceptibles de bouger. Il peut en résulter des activations intempestives (2).
Zone de détection
Pour réduire la zone de détection installe l‘ obturateur entre le lentille et des couvre-objectif. La hauteur de
montage recommandée pour ce détecteur est de 2 à 3,5 m (1).
Il est possible d’étendre la zone de détection (ou de couverture) à l’aide du détecteur de présence secondaire
Edition UP Art. N° 41752 ou Edition AP Art. N° 41753, jusqu’à dix unités sont possibles. Afin d’obtenir une cou-
ver ture complète par plusieurs détecteurs, il est recommandé de prévoir un chevauchement d’environ 30%.
Raccordement
Raccorder le détecteur conformément au schéma de câblage (5). Tous les éléments DALI sont branchés en
parallèle.
Le détecteur maître reconnait les participants DALI automatiquement. Il est interdit d’ajouter une alimentation
DALI ou un détecteur maître, cela endommagerait définitivement le matériel. Les détecteurs esclaves de-
vraient être reliés au bus DALI après que le détecteur maître eu été paramétré.
!Le détecteur maître possède une alimentation Dali intégrée, il ne faut pas ajouter une
alimentation externe.
3. Mode «Out-of-the-box»
Le détecteur ne doit être mis sous tension que lorsque tous les raccordements ont été effectués. Après mise
sous tension, le détecteur est prêt à fonctionner au boute de 40 s environ. Les ballasts Dali sont reconnus
automatiquement par le détecteur. Lorsque le détecteur est sous tension et avant que le détecteur n’ait
initialisé les unités DALI, tous les luminaires raccordés vont s’allumer et le détecteur va fonctionner comme
un détecteur On/Off pour tous les luminaires raccordés. La minuterie est alors de 15min. La possibilité est
donnée d’allumer et d’éteindre l’ensemble des zones via les poussoirs 230 V ou la télécommande. Tous les
poussoirs ont la même fonction.
Remarque : tous les voyants LED (rouge, bleu, jaune, vert) clignotent pour indiquer que le détecteur est en
mode «Out-of-the-box».

IT ISTRUZIONI PER L‘INSTALLAZIONE
1. Indicazioni di sicurezza
!
Prima dell’installazione verificare che i cavi elettrici siano privi di tensioni. L’installazione è
consentita solo ad elettricisti specializzati nel rispetto delle comuni disposizioni nazionali.
2. Installazione
Montaggio
Il rilevatore reagisce a movimenti e calore nel relativo ambiente. Evitare pertanto l’installazione in prossimità
di fornelli, radiatori elettrici, ventole od oggetti mobili vari, in quanto questi potrebbero innestare un’attiva-
zione accidentale (2). Il rivelatore di presenza è stato progettato per il montaggio a soffitto.
Campo di rilevazione
Per una riduzione, anche selettiva, dell’area di rilevamento, si possono applicare le apposite coperture tra la
lente e il coperchio. L’altezza d’installazione raccomandata per il rilevatore è di 2–3,5 m. (1).
Il campo di rilevamento del rilevatore Master può essere aumentato collegando fino a 10 rilevatori secondari
del tipo 41752 (UP) e 41753 (AP) Per un rilevamento più garantito, in caso d’impiego di più rilevatori, ci deve
essere una copertura dei raggi di rilevamento di circa il 30% (2).
Cablaggio
Collegare il rilevatore secondo lo schema elettrico (5). Tutti i dispositivi DALI sono collegati in parallelo. Il
dispositivo Master riconosce automaticamente i dispositivi DALI connessi. Non collegare altri alimentatori
DALI ai dispositivi master per non danneggiarli.
! Il rilevatore di presenza contiene un alimentatore DALI incorporato. Non collegare ulteriori
alimentatori esterni DALI.
3. Modalità d’impostazione “Out-of-the-box” (pronto per l’uso)
Collegare il sensore alla tensione di rete solo dopo che l‘installazione è completamente cablata. Attendere
ca. 40 secondi dopo l’allacciamento affinché il sensore diventi operativo.
I dispositivi DALI saranno riconosciuti automaticamente dal rivelatore di presenza. Non appena il sensore è
collegato alla tensione di rete,tutte le luci si attivano e il rilevatore funziona come rilevatore ON/OFF. Il valore
“tempo” è impostato a 15 min. Tutte le luci possono essere attivate e disattivate manualmente dall’interrut-
tore a 230 V o dal telecomando P-IR. Anche i pulsanti da 230 V avranno la stessa funzionalità.
Nota: Tutti i LED (rosso, blu, giallo, verde) lampeggiano alternativamente, mostrando che il rilevatore di
presenza è in modalità «Out-of-the-box».

1. Wskazówki bezpieczeństwa
!
Przed rozpoczęciem instalacji upewnić się, że przewody elektryczne nie są pod napięciem.
Instalacji może dokonywać wyłącznie wykwalifikowany elektryk, przy przestrzeganiu obowią-
zujących w danym kraju przepisów.
2. Instalacja
Montaż
Czujnik reaguje na ciepło i ruchy w otoczeniu. Nie należy instalować czujnika w pobliżu źródeł ciepła
(pieców, grzejników elektrycznych, instalacji wentylacyjnych lub ruchomych przedmiotów). Może to dopro-
wadzić do nieprawidłowego załączania (2). Czujnik jest przeznaczony do montażu sufitowego.
Zakres detekcji
Aby zredukować obszar, można włożyć załączone półosłony między soczewkę a pokrywę.
Zalecana wysokość instalacji czujnika wynosi 2–3,5 m (1).
Obszar detekcji można poszerzyć przy użyciu maks. 10 czujników obecności drugorzędnych Edition UP
nr art. 41752 lub Edition AP nr art. 41753. Aby przy stosowaniu kilku czujników osiągnąć pełne pokrycie
powierzchni, zaleca się uwzględnienie zachodzenia na siebie obszarów w około 30 %.
Okablowanie
Czujnik należy podłączyć zgodnie ze schematami przyłączy (5). Wszystkie urządzenia DALI podłączane są
równolegle. Czujnik master automatycznie wykrywa urządzenia DALI.
Nie wolno podłączać dodatkowych źródeł zasilania DALI ani większej liczby czujników master, gdyż spowo-
dowałoby to zniszczenie zarówno cewek DALI, jak i czujników.

3 Tryb nastawiania «Out of the box»
Czujnik można podłączyć do sieci dopiero po wykonaniu wszystkich połączeń przewodów. Po podłączeniu
napięcia czujnik jest gotowy do pracy po upływie ok. 40 sekund (czas rozgrzewania). Stateczniki DALI są
automatycznie wykrywane przez czujnik. Jeśli czujnik jest podłączony do zasilania, wszystkie podłączone
lampy świecą, a czujnik realizuje funkcje włączania i wyłączania dla każdej z nich. Czas opóźnienia wynosi
15 min. Istnieje możliwość włączania i wyłączania wszystkich stref za pomocą podłączonych przycisków
230 V lub pilota zdalnego sterowania P-IR. Wszystkie przyciski 230 V pełnią identyczną funkcję.
Wskazówka: Wszystkie diody LED (czerwona, niebieska, żółta, zielona) migają naprzemiennie, sygnalizując,
że czujnik znajduje się w trybie «Out-of-the-box».

EN Warnings regarding installation
The installation of products that will permanently be part of the electrical installation and which include
dangerous voltages, should be carried out by a qualified installer and in accordance with the applicable
regulations. This user manual must be presented to the user. It should be included in the electrical
installation file and it should be passed on to any new owners. Additional copies are available on the
Niko website or via Niko customer services.

• Auswahl des geeigneten Werkzeuges, der Messgeräte und ggf. der persönlichen Schutzausrüstung;
• Auswertung der Messergebnisse;
• Auswahl des Elektro-Installationsmaterials zur Sicherstellung der Abschaltbedingungen;
• IP-Schutzarten;
• Einbau des Elektroinstallationsmaterials;
• Art des Versorgungsnetzes (TN-System, IT-System, TT-System) und die daraus folgenden
Anschlussbedingungen (klassische Nullung, Schutzerdung, erforderliche Zusatzmaßnahmen

Diese Gebrauchsanleitung muss dem Benutzer ausgehändigt werden.Die Gebrauchsanleitung ist den
Unterlagen der elektrischen Anlage beizufügen und muss auch eventuellen neuen Besitzern ausgehändigt

PL Ostrzeżenia dotyczące instalacji
Instalacja produktów, które będą stałą częścią instalacji elektrycznej i które zasilane są niebezpiecznym

This product and/or the batteries provided cannot be disposited in non-recyclable waste. take your
discarded product to a recognised collection point. Just like producers and importers, you too play an
important role in the promotion of sorting, recycling and reuse of discarded electrical and electronic
equipment. To finance the rubbish collection and waste treatment, the government levies recycling
charges in certain cases (included in the price of this product).
