Before getting started / Use
j To charge the device, push the ON / OFF switch

down to the OFF position.
j Insert the adaptor cable into the port

the AC adaptor plug into a suitable socket (100 - 240 V

If the rechargeable battery is fully charged, the hair and beard trimmer can be used for at

Use
Tip: The hair to be cut should be clean and dry.
j Comb your hair through carefully to remove any knots.
j Place the hairdresser’s cape or a cloth around the throat and neck to prevent hair from
dropping into the collar.

Cutting hair
Tip: First cut the hair to a longer length than is required, then proceed in stages until you
achieve the desired length.
j Select and insert a comb attachment

. Select between comb attachments

that can
cut to the following lengths: 4 / 7 / 10 / 13 / 16 mm and 18 / 21 / 24 / 27 / 30 mm.
j Push the attachments onto the hair and beard trimmer over the lateral guide rails.
j Push the comb attachment

onto the comb attachment mounting

until you hear it
click into place.
j Adjust the desired cutting length by pushing the slide for the comb attachment

j Switch on the hair and beard clippers by pushing the ON / OFF switch

up.
j Run the hair and beard clippers slowly though your hair.
j In order to cut straight with a cutting length of more than 20 mm, the hair and beard trimmer
should be guided through the hair several times from different directions.
j When doing so, hold the hair and beard clippers in such a way that the comb attachment

lies as flat as possible.
j Always cut from the nape of the neck in the direction of the top of the head or from the
forehead and temples upwards towards the centre of the head.
