new LED table lamp (hereinafter also

referred to as “luminaire” or “product”).

You have chosen a highquality product. Please be

sure to carefully read all the instructions for use.

Fold out the page with illustrations. These instruc-

tions are part of the product and contain important

information on setup and handling. Always observe

all safety instructions. Before using this product for

the first time, verify that the correct voltage is

present and that all parts are properly mounted. If

you have any questions or are unsure about

operating the product, please contact your

distributor or the service centre. Please keep these

This device may be used by children aged 8

years and up, as well as by persons with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities,

or those lacking experience and / or

knowledge, as long as they are supervised or

instructed in the safe use of the device and they

understand the associated risks. Do not allow

children to play with the device. Cleaning and

user maintenance must not be performed by

children without supervision.

■Do not leave the light or packaging material

lying unattended. Plastic film or bags, plastic

parts, etc. can turn into dangerous toys for

children.

■Avoid the risk of fatal injury

from electric shock

■Never use the light if any defects have been

identified.

■Always check the lamp and the mains cable

with the plug for any damage before connect-

ing it to the mains.

■Ensure that the light does not come into contact

with water or other liquids under any circum-

stances.

■Never open any of the components of the

the same components. This will pose a risk of

fatal injury from electric shock.

■Touch only the insulated part of the plug when

connecting to or disconnecting from the mains

supply!

■The external flexible cord on this light is not

replaceable; if the cord is damaged the light

must be disposed of.

■Before use, verify the available mains voltage

matches the voltage required for operating the

light (220–240 V~, 50 / 60 Hz).

Preventing fire and injury

hazards

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE

TO HOT SURFACES!

Ensure the light has been switched off

and has cooled down before touching it to

avoid burns. Lamps become very hot.

■Check each bulb for damage immediately after

unpacking.

■Replace defective bulbs with new ones immedi-

ately.

■Before replacing the bulb always remove the

mains plug from the socket.

■Allow the lamp to cool for at least 15 minutes

before replacing a defective bulb.

■Do not cover the lamp with objects. Fire can result

from excessive heat development.

■Position the lamp so it is protected from moisture

and dirt.

■Never leave the light unattended whilst in

operation. Excessive heat can result in a fire.

The LED light is not dimmable.

■Do not look directly into the light source (lamp,

LED, etc.). Do not look into the light source

(lamp, LED, etc.) with an optical instrument

(e.g. magnifier).

Operation

Mounting the light

□Remove the packaging materials.

□Unscrew the threaded ring 1 from the socket

3 .

□Place the lamp shade 2 on the socket 3 and

affix this by screwing the threaded ring 1

onto the socket 3 (see Fig. A).

□Screw the light bulb 6 clockwise into the

socket (see Fig. B).

Your lamp is now ready for use (see Fig. C).

Using the lamp

□Completely unwrap the power cord 5 .

□Insert the mains plug 7 into the socket.

□Turn the light on and off with the ON / OFF

switch 4 .

Inserting / Replacing the bulb

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC

SHOCK! Unplug the mains plug from

the socket.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE

TO HOT SURFACES! Allow the light

to cool down completely.

□Turn the defective bulb carefully anticlockwise

out of the bulb socket.

□Use a clean, lint-free cloth to replace a bulb.

□Screw the lamp clockwise into the socket.

□Please refer to the chapter “Technical data” to

see which bulbs are required for the respective

model.

□Connect the mains plug 7 to the mains socket.

Maintenance and cleaning

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC

SHOCK! Remove the mains plug 7

from the socket before you clean the

lamp.

SHOCK! For electrical safety reasons

do not clean the lamp with harsh

detergents and never immerse it in water.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE

TO HOT SURFACES! Allow the light

to cool down completely.

■Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like,

as they could damage the lamp.

■Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.

■Connect the mains plug 7 to the mains socket.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE!

The lamp may be damaged if used improperly.

■Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes

with metal or nylon bristles, or sharp or metal

cleaning objects such as metal sponges, etc.

These can damage the surfaces.

■Never put the lamp in the dishwasher. This

would break the lamp.

1. Unplug the mains plug from the socket

before cleaning.

2. Allow the lamp to cool down completely.

3. Wipe the lamp clean with a damp cloth. Then

allow all parts to dry completely.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable

materials, which you may dispose of at local

recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging

materials for waste separation, which

are marked with abbreviations (a) and

numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7:

plastics / 20–22: paper and fibreboard /

80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials

are recyclable, dispose of it separately

for better waste treatment. The Triman

logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal

authority for more details of how to

dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please

dispose of the product properly when it

has reached the end of its useful life and

not in the household waste. Information on

collection points and their opening hours can be

obtained from your local authority.

directives. The relevant declarations and

documents are held by the manufacturer.

We reserve the right to make technical and visual

Warranty and service

Warranty

We provide a 3-year warranty from the date of

purchase. Our products are manufactured using

modern production methods and are subject to

precise quality control. We guarantee that this

product is in perfect condition. During the warranty

period we will remedy any defects in material or

manufacture free of charge. In the event of an

unexpected defect, please return the carefully

packaged product to the service address specified.

The warranty does not extend to damage due to

improper opertion, or to wear parts and

consumables. These can be ordered from the tele-

phone number listed for a charge. Repairs not

covered by the warranty (e.g. light bulbs) may also

be requested at cost price from the service address

listed. The product will be repaired at the specified

service location. Timely processing and returns can

only be ensured by sending the product directly to

this address. If you would like additional product

■Toccare solo la zona isolata della spina di rete

■Il cavo flessibile esterno di questo apparecchio

non può essere sostituito; se il cavo è danneg-

giato, l’apparecchio deve essere rottamato.

■Prima dell’uso, assicurarsi che la tensione di

rete esistente corrisponda alla tensione di funzi-

onamento richiesta dall’apparecchio (220-240

V~, 50 / 60 Hz).

Assicurarsi che il prodotto sia spento e

raffreddato prima di toccarlo per evitare ustioni. Le

lampadine generano molto calore.

■Sostituire immediatamente le lampade

difettose con quelle nuove. Prima di sostituire la

lampadina, assicurarsi che l’apparecchio non sia

sotto tensione. Per fare questo, staccare la spina

dalla presa o spegnere l’interruttore nella scatola

dei fusibili (posizione 0).

■Lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio a LED per

almeno 15 minuti prima di sostituire una

lampadina difettosa.

■Non utilizzare il prodotto per collocare o appen-

dere altri oggetti.

■Non usare mai il cavo di collegamento per soste-

nere il peso del prodotto.

■In caso di dubbi durante l’installazione/

il funzionamento del prodotto, consultare un

elettricista competente.

La lampada a LED non è dimmerabile.

■Non guardare direttamente la fonte di luce

(lampada, LED, ecc.). Non guardare la fonte

di luce (lampada, LED, ecc.) con uno strumento

ottico (ad es. lente d’ingrandimento).

Operazione

Montaggio dell‘apparecchio

□Rimuovere i materiali di imballaggio.

□Svitare l’anello a vite 1 dalla presa 3.

□Mettere il paralume 2 sulla presa 3 e

fissarlo avvitando l’anello a vite 1 sulla presa

3 (vedi fig. A).

□Girare la lampadina 6 in senso orario nella

presa (vedi fig. B).

La vostra luce è ora pronta per l’uso (vedi fig. C).

Utilizzare l‘apparecchio

□Svolgere completamente il cavo di

alimentazione 5.

□Inserire la spina di rete 7 nella presa.

□Accendere e spegnere la lampada con

l’interruttore del cavo ON / OFF 4.

Inserire / sostituire l‘illuminante

ATTENZIONE! RISCHIO DI

SCOSSA ELETTRICA! Estrarre la spina

di rete dalla presa.

ATTENZIONE! RISCHIO DI

USTIONI DA SUPERFICI CALDE!

Lasciare raffreddare completamente

l’apparecchio.

□Girare la lampada difettosa in senso antiorario

fuori dalla presa.

□Utilizzare un panno pulito e privo di lanugine

per la sostituzione.

□Girare la lampadina in senso orario nella

presa.

□Consultare il capitolo “Dati tecnici” per sapere

quali lampade sono necessarie.

□Inserire la spina di rete 7 nella presa.
