PRODUCT
FEATURES
This barbecue is designed to grill efficiently without the use of lava rocks. The necessary
heat to cook foods is generated by special burners which are positioned on the bottom of the
grate and under the hob. The use of barbecue without lava rocks allows a more even
cooking and healthy food, also the materials used prevent the absorption of fat cooking and
subsequent flare-ups, caused from the melting fat. Trough the use of the flame tamers the
heat generated by the burners is transferred to the cooking grill equally. The particular shape
to the waves and the angle of inclination of the walls allows:
- The oily parts of the juices contained in the foods to slip to the bottom of the barbecue,
where they are collected in the appropriate compartments.
- The watery parts of juices contained in the foods to vaporize and to give the classic
barbecue tastes, enhancing the flavor.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. BEFORE FIRST USE
Always use the accessories of the barbecue to prevent burns.
If grease or hot material falls from the barbecue on the valve, regulator, pipe or
any other element in contact with the gas, turn off the gas immediately. Remove
the material and recheck for possible gas leak.
Do not remove the grease drain cup if the barbecue is not completely cooled.
Close all knobs and gas valve when the barbecue is not in use.
Never move the barbecue when it’s still hot.
Push the barbecue, do not pull it when you move it.
The disconnected, stored or transported cylinder must have a safety cup inserted.
Do not store the cylinder inside or near an area with children.
Remove the cylinder from the barbecue if the letter is kept indoors.
Never leave a spare gas cylinder under or near the barbecue or in a closed area.
Never fill the cylinder beyond 80%. An overflow gas cylinder is dangerous
because the excess gas may escape from the safety valve. The safety valve of a
gas cylinder may open, releasing gas and cause fire.
The spare gas cylinder should have the safety cap installed on the socket.
In case of gas leakage inside the reserve cylinder, immediately move away from it
an call the firefighters.
Keep the gas cylinder away from any ignition source when you change it.
For any other problem refer to “TROUBLESHOOTING” section of the manual.
2. DISCONNECTING THE GAS CYLINDER
Close all knobs
Completely close the cylinder valve (turn it clockwise to close it)
Disconnect the regulator of the cylinder valve by turning the quick coupling nut
counterclockwise.
Replace the protective cap on the cylinder valve.
3. LIGHTING THE BARBECUE
ALWAYS CHECK THE GAS PIPE BEFORE USE
DO NOT TURN ON THE BARBECUE IN CASE YOU DETECT THE PRESENCE
OF GAS SMELL
Inspect the gas line before proceeding with the lightning of the barbecue. In
suspicion of cuts, wear or abrasion, replace them before use. The pipe parts must
comply with the regulations in the country of your use. Keep a solution of soap
and water near the gas cylinder valve and check the connections before each
use.
1. Open the lid before turning on the burner and make sure the knobs are set on “0”.
2. Open the cylinder valve by turning it anti clockwise.
3. IGNITION:
CENTRAL BURNER:
Press and slowly turn the left knob counterclockwise (corresponding to the left
side of the burner) to place it on MAX for the spark to ignite the flame. The ignition
is immediate. Press and turn the middle knob to complete the lightning of the
entire burner. The central burner ignition is given by the left knob.
SIDE BURNER (some units):
Operate the corresponding knob, turn it counter-clockwise, press it and place it on
MAX for the spark to ignite the flame. The ignition is immediate.
4. If the desired section of the burner doesn’t light in 5 seconds, close the knob to “0”
and repeat the ignition process for 2 or 3 times.
5. If the burner doesn’t light up after step 4, turn off the gas cylinder and wait 5
minutes to let excess gas evaporate than repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. If there is no spark, try moving the tip of the sparkplug. Place it in front of one of
the holes of the burner.
7. In case that ignition does not work, contact a qualified technician to replace the
non-functioning parts.
8. Once turned on, you can adjust the knob and leave it in the position of the desired
cooking, even at minimum level.
9. If the flame goes accidentally off, immediately close the gas valve on the cylinder.
Check the cause of flame extinguishment whether natural or accidental. After 5
minutes of waiting to allow the unburned gas to release the barbecue, rekindle the
flame repeating step 1.
10. After use, place the knobs on the “0” position and close the gas cylinder.
4. PREHEATING:
Before using the barbecue, turn the knob to the “MAX” position and preheat the
barbecue for 15 minutes. During the preheating phase it is possible to close the lid to
obtain a uniform heating, anyway it is necessary to keep under control the internal
temperature from the thermometer placed on the lid.
5. COOKING:
Place the food on the grid and cook it according to the desired cooking. Adjust the
temperature if necessary. The knob can be set to any position between “MAX” and
“MIN”.
6. POT USAGE (some models):
When using pots to cook food, use the pot support on the burner to the side.
Place the pot directly on it, making sure it is in perfect balance.
Make sure that the flame does not overlap the bottom of the pot.
Adjust the flame in order not to make spill liquids contained in the pots as they
can turn off the burner.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The frequency of cleaning depends on the frequency of use. Always check for insects or
other obstructions that block the escape of gas trough the burner and in case of obstruction,
contact a technician. The orifice of the valve must be placed in the center of the burner after
cleaning, if not, it could cause a fire resulting in serious damage to people and things.
Never change the settings of the device.
CLEANING THE PAINTED PARTS:
Always wipe in delicate painted parts. Do not use acidic or anti-rust cleaners to clean the
control panel with printed writings. Aggressive detergents could erase the writings.
CLEANING THE STRUCTURE:
Clean the structure of the barbecue with a damp cloth and possibly without abrasive
detergent.
CLEANING THE GRIDS:
Remove the cooking grids and wash them separately with soapy water and then rinse
thoroughly with water.
CLEANING THE BURNER:
Clean the outside of the burners with a brush. Clean the grid with a metal scraper. Clean out
any clogged exit through a paper clip. Never use a wooden stick or it may break and clog the
exit. Check if insects or other obstructions block the escape of gas through the burner and in
case of obstructions, call a technician.
CLEANING THE GREASE CUP:
The grease cup must be emptied after each use and cleaned with warm water using a
sponge and without abrasive detergent.
