pressure cooker under cold running water for instant cooling (Picture 10). Then turn the turning
knob anti-clockwise to open the lid. If the lid cannot be open, pull the pressure control valve upward
to release the pressure inside the cooker and open the lid.
2) Natural cool down
Turn off the heat source and let the pressure cooker cool down by nature.
Open the lid
As soon as the pressure cooker cool off, turn the turning knob anti-clockwise and open the lid (Picture 12).
1) Please operate carefully and wear gloves to avoid burning.
2) Shake the cooker slightly to balance the food inside if you are cooking porridge or any other sticky
foods.
3) Do not turn the turning knob by force.
4) Do not open the lid with excessive force.
Attention
1) Before using, please check the vent pipe carefully to see whether blocked.
2) Make sure the safety valve is washed and cleaned as per the instructions. Do not change any parts

USE AND OPERATION
MALFUNCTIONS AND SOLUTIONS
COOKING TIME
The list below is just for reference.
Before using the pressure cooker for the first time
• Read this instruction manual carefully before first time use for safety. Especially the Safety rules.
• Fill the pressure cooker with ½ water, close the lid and heat the cooker until steam emitted from the
pressure control valve. Keep heating for 10 minutes after steam emitted from the pressure control
valve. This will remove the smell of new cooker.
• Open the lid after cooled, pour the water, wash and wipe this new pressure cooker and dry it
completely.
Normal operations
1) Make sure the vent pipe is not blocked. If there is a jam clean it by using a small stick. Make sure
the safety valve is clean. The sealing ring must be put on correct position.
2) The cooker must be filled with at least 1/4 L water or other liquids to make steam when using the
pressure cooker. The capacity of foods together with liquid should not more than 2/3 of the cooker's.
If the food is easy to spume, it must be less than 1/2 of the cooker's capacity.
3) Close the lid: place the lid onto the cooker body and put the
crossbeam under the ear of the body with same direction in one line.
Turn the turning knob clockwise till it can not be turned tight anymore.
The lid is well closed (Picture 9).
Heating
1) When moving and laying the pressure cooker, do not hold only the
middle knob. Hold the two side handles carefully.
2) Place the pressure cooker on a steady and stable stove.
3) To heat up rapidly, use strong fire till the pressure control valve works. Please pay special attention
on the fire it should not be too strong. After a while, when there is steam released from the pressure
control valve (count the heating time now), turn down the heat source so that only small amount of
steam come out, in this case the cooker works reasonably and save most energy. Turn up the heat
source when the pressure control valve stops releasing steam and otherwise, turn down the heat
source when there is too much steam.
Attention
• Don’t go away when cooking and watch carefully to make sure normal condition.
• Don’t touch the high temperature surface directly.
• Don't be too thick when cooking dense sauce.
• For safety, please strictly comply with the above mentioned rules to avoid the liquid is completely
steamed out and dry heat or block the pressure releasing device.
Turn off the fire
After heating, turn off the fire. Lay the pressure cooker for a while until there is no steam released
from the pressure control valve by pulling it up. This is also counted as cooking time. For cooking
time, pls refer to chapter 6.
For any abnormal condition during cooking, please turn off the heat source and put the cooker on the
ground and cool it down slowly with cold water. Check the case and identify the malfunction with below
causes and treatments.
MAINTENANCE
For any abnormal condition during cooking, please turn off the heat source and put the cooker on the
ground and cool it down slowly with cold water. Check the case and identify the malfunction with below
causes and treatments.
