Intended use

This automatic blackout roller blind/smart

electric blackout blind (hereinafter called

“product”) is used for covering windows.

There are 3diﬀerent ways to operate the

product:

supervised or have been instructed in the safe

use of the device and understand the resulting

appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance

shall not be made by children without

Follow all assembly instructions as incorrect

During cleaning or operation, do not immerse

the electrical parts of the blind, the remote

control and the mains adaptor in water or

other liquids. Never hold the blind, the remote

control and the mains adaptor under running

Never use a damaged product. Disconnect

the mains adaptor from the mains supply and

contact your retailer if it is damaged.

Only use this product with the supplied mains

adaptor.

Before connecting the mains adaptor to the

mains supply, check that the voltage and

current rating corresponds with the mains

supply details shown on the mains adaptor

rating label.

The mains adaptor shall not be covered.

The product and the mains adaptor shall not

be exposed to dripping or splashing water.

Do not connect the product to the mains

supply while it is in the packing.

Do not connect this product to another

manufacturer’s product.

Never plug the blind or the USB cable

directly into a 100‒240 V~ supply.

Always disconnect the product from the mains

supply before installation, cleaning or any

other work on the product.

No spare parts are included in the scope of

delivery. Only a specialist can replace the

mains adaptor.

The fabric of the blind is not washable.

Do not allow children to play with ﬁxed

controls. Keep remote controls away from

children.

Frequently examine the product for imbalance

and signs of wear or damage to cables and

springs. Do not use the product if repair or

adjustment is necessary.

No action is required on the part of the user

to set the product to 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The

product will automatically set itself to 50 Hz

or 60 Hz.

When the product is attached or pulled with

a certain force, the product stops.

The product is intended for continuous

operation.

Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable

batteries

mDANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children.

If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns

can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Do not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or open them.

Overheating, ﬁre or bursting can be the result.

Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into ﬁre or water.

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could aﬀect

batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight.

If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and

mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the aﬀected areas with

fresh water and seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries/

rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear

suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the

user. The removal or replacement of the rechargeable battery may only be carried

out by the manufacturer or his customer service or by a similarly qualiﬁed person in

order to avoid hazards. When disposing of the product, it should be noted that this

product contains a rechargeable battery.

Additional safety instructions for batteries of remote control

The batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity.

Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.
