- vous procurer un tuyau souple conforme à la norme XP D 36-
112 et visser lécrou fileté G 1/2 du tuyau sur le raccord den-
trée de lappareil en suivant les indications fournies avec le
tuyau souple.
- utiliser une clé pour immobiliser le raccord dentrée de lappa-
reil et serrer ou desserrer labout avec une autre clé.
- létanchéité sera vérifiée en suivant les indications du para-
graphe 4.
Lappareil possède une entrée gaz filetée: pour raccorder le
tuyau sur l'appareil, serrer l'écrou du tuyau fermement mais
sans excès avec 2 clés appropriées:
4 clé de 15 pour bloquer l'about
4 clé de 17 pour visser l'écrou du tuyau
Suivre les indications des paragraphes 3-1.1a), 3-1.2. et 3-1.3
en utilisant un tuyau souple conforme aux réglementations
nationales en vigueur. Longueur préconisée 1,25 m.
Opérez à lextérieur des locaux, loin de tout matériau inflam-
mable et flamme vive. Ne pas fumer. Ne pas utiliser de flamme
pour détecter une fuite de gaz.
- Sassurer que les volants de réglage sont en position fermée ( ).
- Visser labout annelé sur le détendeur en interposant le joint.
Lorsque le joint est en contact avec le raccord, serrer dun
demi-tour environ.
- Emmancher le tube souple sur l about du détendeur sans ser-
rer le collier sur labout et sans p
asser le tuyau souple dans le
tube
(fig. 10).
- Sassurer de la présence et du bon état du joint du détendeur
et fixer celui-ci sur la bouteille de gaz.
- Ouvrir larrivée du gaz (robinet de la bouteille (fig. 13A) ou
manette du détendeur (fig. 13B) et appuyer sur le bouton éven-
tuel darmement du détendeur (selon notice du détendeur).
- Mettre le liquide détecteur de fuite gazeuse sur les raccords
bouteille/détendeur/tuyau souple/appareil en laissant les
volants de réglage de lappareil en position fermée.
- Si des bulles se forment cest quil y a fuite de gaz.
- Pour supprimer les fuites, serrer les écrous des abouts et du
détendeur ou emmancher plus à fond le tuyau souple. Ne pas
mettre en service lappareil fuyard.
- Couper lalimentation gaz (robinet de la bouteille ou manette
du détendeur).
- Si aucune fuite nest détectée, retirer le tuyau souple de la-
bout du détendeur.
- Poser l'appareil sur une table, raccord d'entrée gaz en haut.
- Passer le tuyau souple dans le tube et fixer la tête de l'appa-
reil sur le tube (fig. 11).
- Lisez attentivement cette notice avant de monter et utiliser
votre appareil.
Conservez-la soigneusement et consultez-là chaque fois quil
est nécessaire.
- Lutilisation de cet appareil dans des locaux totalement fermés
peut être dangereuse et est INTERDITE.
- Lappareil doit être installé conformément aux instructions et
aux réglementations locales, notamment en ce qui concerne
linstallation et lutilisation dans des établissements recevant
du public.
- Application des Gaz décline toutes responsabilités en cas de
défauts d'installation ou d'utilisation consécutifs à un non
respect des règles spécifiques aux établissements recevant
du public.
- CET APPAREIL NE DOIT ÊTRE UTILISÉ QUEN PLEIN AIR
OU DANS UN ESPACE LARGEMENT VENTILÉ.
Un espace ventilé doit avoir au minimum 25% de sa surface
totale ouverte.
La surface totale est la somme de la surface des murs.
- Nentreposez pas et nutilisez pas dessence ou autres liqui-
des ou vapeur inflammables à proximité de votre appareil.
Aucun matériau combustible ne doit se trouver dans un rayon
de 60 cm autour de lappareil.
- Ne pas déplacer lappareil pendant son fonctionnement et lu-
tiliser sur un sol horizontal (inclinaison inférieure à 10° - fig.
24).
- Nous vous conseillons dutiliser du Propane.
- Ne pas utiliser en alimentation Butane lorsque la température
est inférieure à 5°C.
Des parties accessibles (parabole, bras et
lampe) peuvent être très chaudes. Eloignez les jeunes
enfants.
- De fortes rafales de vent peuvent renverser lappareil.
En cas de vent violent une attention particulière doit être por-
tée contre le basculement de lappareil.
- En cas dodeur de gaz:
4 Fermez larrivée de gaz (robinet de la bouteille ou manette
du détendeur)
4 Eteignez toute flamme
4 Si lodeur persiste, débranchez le détendeur de la bouteille,
mettez la bouteille en plein air et informez votre revendeur
de bouteille.
Lappareil doit être examiné et réparé avant dêtre à nouveau
utilisé.
- Après utilisation, toujours fermer le gaz avec le robinet de la
bouteille ou la manette du détendeur.
Cet appareil est conçu pour fonctionner avec des bouteilles
de gaz Butane ou Propane de 6 à 15 Kg munies dun déten-
deur approprié. (voir pressions dutilisation pages 2,3 et 4).
Nutilisez que le type de gaz et de bouteille indiqués par le
fabriquant.
Pour un rendement optimal dans toutes les conditions clima-
tiques, nous vous conseillons dutiliser de préférence du
Propane.

- Appuyer sur la languette (A) et retirer entièrement la casset-
te d'aLlumage (14) de son logement tout en la maintenant
pour ne pas arracher le fil de connexion.
- Retourner la cassette, enlever la pile usagée (s'il y a lieu).
- Insérer la pile neuve (type LR 03 / AAA) dans le logement en
respectant la position indiquée dans le boîtier (+ avec + et
- avec -).
- Remettre la cassette d'allumage (14) en place en veillant à
ce qu'elle soit enfoncée à fond dans son logement.
Ne pas jeter les piles usées à la poubelle. Déposez-les dans
un container prévu pour le recyclage.
Le symbole de la poubelle barrée apposé sur l'éti-
quette signifie que l'appareil fait l'objet d'une collecte
sélective. Au terme de sa durée de vie, l'appareil doit être
correctement mis au rebut. L'appareil ne doit pas être
mis avec les déchets municipaux non triés. La collecte
sélective favorisera la réutilisation, le recyclage ou autre
forme de valorisation des matériaux recyclables conte-
nus dans ces déchets. Mettre l'appareil dans un cent-
re de valorisation des déchets spécialement prévu à
cet effet (déchetterie). Renseignez-vous auprès des
autorités locales. Ne pas jeter dans la nature, ne pas
incinérer: la présence de certaines substances dan-
gereuses dans les équipements électriques peut-être
nuisible à l'environnement et avoir des effets poten-
tiels sur la santé humaine.
- Si la lampe n'est pas en service (Sunforce Advantage
Deluxe) ouvrir l'arrivée du gaz (robinet de la bouteille (fig. 13-
A) ou manette du détendeur (fig. 13-B) et armement éven-
tuel).
- Ouvrir le gaz en tournant le volant (21) dans le sens de rota-
tion inverse de celui des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à la
butée.
- Appuyer sur le bouton (B) de la cassette d'allumage et simul-
tanément enfoncer le volant (21).
- Dès l'allumage: relâcher le bouton de la cassette dallumage
mais continuer de maintenir le volant (21) enfoncé pendant
15 secondes.
- Relâcher la pression sur le volant: le chauffage fonctionne au
maximum.
- Si le brûleur s'éteint: recommencer l'opération d'allumage.
- Opérer comme indiqué dans le paragraphe ci-dessus, mais
au lieu dappuyer sur le bouton de la cassette dallumage,
présenter une allumette enflammée (C) au niveau supérieur
de la grille radiante.
- Dès lallumage retirer lallumette.
- Après la première utilisation la grille du brûleur présente un
aspect noir tout à fait normal qui ne diminue pas ses perfor-
mances.
- Pour obtenir le fonctionnement minimum: tourner le volant
(21) dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à
la position débit réduit.
- Tourner le volant (21) dans le sens de rotation des aiguilles
d'une montre jusqu'à la butée position ( ).
L'appareil est équipé de deux sécurités
1)La " sécurité d'extinction " ferme automatiquement le débit
de gaz au brûleur de chauffage si celui-ci s'éteint acciden-
tellement.
2)La " sécurité de basculement " ferme automatiquement le
débit de gaz à tout l'appareil si celui-ci est positionné suivant
un angle supérieur à 45° par rapport à la verticale ou s'il bas-
cule et tombe à terre.
Pour un plus grand confort, la parabole (22) de l'appareil peut être
orientée de manière à envoyer le rayonnement vers la zone à
chauffer.
Protéger le brûleur de linfluence du vent en tournant lappareil
pour que la parabole fasse écran en particulier lors de lallu-
mage.
- Ne pas toucher la parabole (22) à mains nues car elle peut
être très chaude. Utiliser la poignée (23) prévue à cet effet en
tirant dessus verticalement de haut en bas: s'arrêter sur la
position recherchée.
- Toujours utiliser la poignée pour changer l'orientation ou
ramener la parabole en position horizontale.
- Vérifier que le robinet de la bouteille ou la manette du déten-
deur est en position fermée.
- Soulever le cache de la bouteille de manière à dégager entiè-
rement la bouteille de gaz et décrocher la sangle de sécurité
à laide du clip (M). (fig. 12).

- Sassurer que les volants de réglage sont en position fermée ( ).
- Emmancher le tuyau souple sur labout du détendeur et fixer
le collier en opérant comme indiqué en 3-1.3. Eviter les tor-
sions du tuyau et les rayons de courbure trop faibles (rayon
supérieur à 90 mm).
- Ouvrir larrivée du gaz (robinet de la bouteille (fig. 13A) ou
manette du détendeur (fig. 13B)) et appuyer sur le bouton
éventuel darmement du détendeur (selon notice détendeur).
- Mettre le liquide détecteur de fuite gazeuse sur les raccords
bouteille/détendeur/tube souple en laissant les volants de
réglage de lappareil en position fermée.
- Si des bulles se forment cest quil y a fuite de gaz.
- Pour supprimer les fuites, serrer les écrous des abouts et du
détendeur. Ne pas mettre en service un appareil fuyard.
- Fermer larrivée du gaz (robinet de la bouteille ou manette du
détendeur).
- Toute modification des colliers de serrage est interdite.
Opérer comme indiqué en A-1.1 en vissant lécrou G 1/2 du
tuyau sur le raccord fileté de lappareil et lécrou M 20x1,5 (noir)
sur la sortie du détendeur (au lieu de visser les abouts annelés
et demmancher le tuyau souple sur ces abouts).
- Sassurer que les volants de réglage sont en position fermée ( ).
- Visser le tuyau souple sur les raccords de lappareil et du
détendeur sans p
asser le tuyau souple dans le tube (12).
- Raccorder le détendeur à la bouteille de gaz et ouvrir la bou-
teille de gaz (robinet de la bouteille).
- Mettre le liquide détecteur de fuite gazeuse sur les raccords
bouteille /détendeur/tube souple en laissant les volants de
réglage de lappareil en position fermée.
- Si des bulles se forment cest quil y a fuite: les supprimer en
serrant les écrous détendeur/tuyau/appareil. Ne pas mettre
en service lappareil fuyard.
- Si aucune fuite nest détectée, couper lalimentation du gaz (robi-
net de la bouteille) et dévisser le tuyau souple du détendeur.
- Poser l'appareil sur une table, raccord d'entrée gaz en haut.
- Passer le tuyau souple dans le tube et fixer la tête de l'appa-
reil sur le tube (fig. 11).
- Sassurer que les volants de réglage sont en position fermée ( ).
- Visser le tuyau souple sur le détendeur de la bouteille. Eviter
les torsions du tuyau et les rayons de courbure trop faible
(rayon supérieur à 90 mm)
- Mettre le liquide détecteur de fuite gazeuse sur les raccords
bouteille /détendeur/tube souple en laissant les volants de
réglage de lappareil en position fermée.
- Si des bulles se forment cest quil y a fuite: les supprimer en
serrant les écrous détendeur/tuyau/appareil. Ne pas mettre

Suivre les indications des paragraphes 4-A-1.1. et 4-A-1.2. en
tenant compte que lappareil est livré sans about se vissant sur
le détendeur ni colliers pour tuyau souple.
- Emmancher le tuyau souple sur labout du détendeur et fixer
le collier en. Eviter les torsions du tuyau et les rayons de cour-
bure trop faible (rayon supérieur à 90 mm)
- Ouvrir larrivée du gaz (robinet de la bouteille (fig. 13A) ou
manette du détendeur (fig. 13B)) et appuyer sur le bouton
éventuel darmement du détendeur (selon notice détendeur)
- Mettre le liquide détecteur de fuite gazeuse sur les raccords
bouteille/détendeur/tube souple en laissant les volants de
réglage de lappareil en position fermée.
- Supprimer les fuites éventuelles comme indiqué au paragra-
phe C- 1. Ne pas mettre en service un appareil fuyard.
- Fermez larrivée du gaz (robinet de la bouteille et/ou manette
du détendeur).

- Désaccoupler le détendeur de la bouteille de gaz.
- Retirer la bouteille de gaz de la base de l'appareil
- Mettre en place la nouvelle bouteille de gaz
- Accoupler le détendeur à la bouteille de gaz (vérifier le joint
du détendeur).
- Remettre la sangle de sécurité et descendre le cache bou-
teille jusquen bas.
- Ne pas obstruer les orifices de ventilation du logement de la
bouteille.
- Vérifier létat du tuyau souple.
- Soulever (A) la potence (17) et la faire pivoter sur elle-même
dun quart de tour.
- Glisser le manchon (16) sur le brûleur, le trou de plus grand
diamètre vers le bas ; bien introduire lorifice du manchon
dans la gorge (B) du brûleur.
- Ramener la potence (17) dans sa position initiale et introduire
lorifice supérieur du manchon dans la gorge (C) de la potence.
- , présenter une flamme (briquet ou
allumette) au voisinage du manchon.
- Le laisser se consumer entièrement (passage dune couleur
noire avec dégagement de fumée à la couleur blanche: com-
bustion terminée).
- A) Mettre le verre (18) en place et B) encliqueter le chapeau
(19) sur le verre.(fig. 17)
- Si le brûleur de chauffage n'est pas en service, ouvrir l'arrivée
du gaz (robinet de la bouteille ou manette du détendeur et
armement éventuel).
- Ouvrir le gaz en tournant le volant (20) dans le sens de rota-
tion inverse de celui des aiguilles d'une montre, environ 1/4
de tour.
- Appuyer sur le bouton (B) de la cassette d'allumage (14) jus-
qu'à obtenir l'allumage puis relâcher le bouton.
- Si plusieurs essais savèrent infructueux vérifier si le réservoir
contient du gaz.
- Présenter un allumette enflammée (C) au niveau de l'ouver-
ture entre le verre et le chapeau puis ouvrir progressivement
le gaz en tournant le volant (20) dans le sens de rotation
inverse de celui des aiguilles d'une montre.
- On peut régler la luminosité de la lampe en tournant lente-
ment le volant (20) des deux cotés.
- Fermer le robinet en tournant le volant (20) à fond dans le
sens de rotation des aiguilles d'une montre (position ( )).
- Retirer le chapeau (19) de dessus le verre (18).
- Eliminer le verre cassé en prenant des précautions pour ne
pas se blesser avec les débris tranchants
- Mettre en place le nouveau verre et encliqueter le chapeau
par dessus.(fig. 17).

- Arrêter le fonctionnement de lappareil comme indiqué au
paragraphe 3-2-4 et 3-6-4 (modèle avec lampe).
- Fermer larrivée du gaz (robinet de la bouteille (fig. 13A) et/ou
manette du détendeur (fig. 13B)).
- Vérifier que la sangle de sécurité bloque bien la bouteille de
gaz dans son logement.
- Incliner lappareil vers larrière afin quil prenne appui sur les
roues et le déplacer lentement (fig. 25).
- Vérifier une fois par an le bon état de ce tuyau (qui na pas
de date de péremption). Pour cela:
4 déconnecter le détendeur de la bouteille
4 retirer les volants (20) et (21)
4 orienter la parabole verticalement
4 dévisser les 5 vis (25) - fig. 22 - et enlever le flasque
4 le tuyau souple apparaît (26) (fig. 23).
- Vérifier que ce tuyau souple ne présente aucun défaut de
vieillissement tel que craquelure, coupure ou brûlure.
- Si le tuyau présente des défauts, rapporter lappareil à votre
revendeur
- Sil ny a pas danomalie, remettre le flasque et le fixer à lai-
de des 5 vis (25).
- Vérifier une fois par mois létat du tuyau souple et le changer
sil présente des signes de vieillissement ou des craquelures
(en France si la date de péremption imprimée sur les tuyaux
souples est atteinte. Voir § 2 et 3)
- Le tuyau souple doit être remplacé par un nouveau tuyau de
même longueur et de qualité équivalente.
- Le tuyau souple ou le tuyau flexible doit être remplacé selon
la périodicité indiquée dessus selon les pays.
- Effectuer les contrôles détanchéité selon § 4.
Le tuyau souple avec colliers doit être remplacé par un ensem-
ble conforme à XP D 36-110 et le tuyau souple avec écrous à
ses extrémités par un tuyau souple conforme à XP D 36-112.
Suivre les indications de montage fournies avec ces nouveaux
ensembles dont la longueur doit être de 1,25 m.
- Vérifier que le gaz est bien fermé au niveau de la bouteille de
gaz.(robinet de la bouteille ou manette du détendeur en posi-
tion fermée).
- Stocker l'appareil et sa bouteille de gaz dans un endroit frais,
sec et aéré, hors de portée des enfants, jamais dans un
sous-sol ou une cave. La bouteille de gaz propane doit être
stockée hors des locaux dhabitation ou leurs dépendances.
- Pour un stockage prolongé de lappareil:
4enlever la bouteille de lappareil
4mettre la parabole en position verticale et la recouvrir dune
housse, évitant lentrée daraignées dans les venturis des
brûleurs (les toiles daraignées provoquent de longues flam-
mes au brûleur).
- En cas de bouchage des injecteurs, (la bouteille contient enco-
re du gaz mais l'appareil ne s'allume pas), ne pas essayer de
les déboucher, rapporter l'appareil à votre revendeur.
Le produit bénéficie d'une garantie totale pièces et main d'uv-
re de 2 ans à compter de sa date d'achat, à l'exclusion des frais
de retour du produit qui restent à la charge du consommateur.

- Using this heater in totally enclosed premises can be dange-
rous and is FORBIDDEN.
- The heater must be installed in accordance with the instruc-
tions and local regulations, particularly its installation and use
in premises frequented by the general public.
- Application des Gaz accepts no responsibility for the faulty
installation or use due to the failure to observe the rules spe-
cific to public buildings.
- THIS HEATER SHOULD ONLY BE USED OUTDOORS OR
IN A WELL-VENTILATED AREA. A ventilated area means
that at least 25% of its total surface area is open.
The total surface area is the sum of the surface area of the
walls.
- Do not store or use petrol or other inflammable liquids or
steam near your heater. No combustible material should be
placed within a 60 cm radius of the heater.
- Do not move the heater during operation and use it on level
ground (slope of less than 10° - fig. 24).
- We advise you to use propane.
- Do not use butane if the temperature is below 5 C.
CAUTION: Some accessible parts (canopy) can be very hot.
Keep young children away.
- The heater can be overturned by strong gusts of wind. Pay
particular attention to the risk of the heater tipping over if the
wind is very strong.
- If you smell gas:
4Close the gas inlet (cylinder valve or regulator lever)
4Extinguish any flame
4If the smell persists, remove the regulator from the cylinder,
place it outside and inform your cylinder retailer.
The heater must be examined and repaired before being
used again.
- Always shut off the gas at the cylinder valve and/or regulator
lever after use.
2. Gas cylinder
The device is designed to operate from 6 kg to 15 kg cylin-
ders. The cylinder should be fitted with a compatible regula-
tor. (see gas and working pressures pages 2, 3 and 4).
Only use the type of gas and cylinder indicated by the manu-
facturer.
We advise you to use propane as your first choice for the best
possible operation in all weather conditions.
3. Flexible gas hose
Great Britain - Ireland
This patio heater must be used with a 1.25 m long flexible
hose secured with hose clamps.
This patio heater must be used with a flexible hose intended
for use with butane and propane in accordance with national
regulations in force (NF - BS - UNI - UNE)
It must be replaced if damaged, shows signs of ageing or sur-
face cracks. Do not pull or twist it. Keep it away from any parts
likely to become hot.
4. Leak tests
Work outdoors, well away from any flammable materials or
naked flames. Do not smoke. DO NOT USE A FLAME TO
DETECT GAS LEAKS.

1 - Assembly
Follow the assembly order by using the text and drawing booklets jointly.
1) IMPORTANT: Remove all the parts from the packing and identify them using the enclosed assembly diagrams.
2) Follow the instructions and assemble in the order shown in the diagrams.
2 - Safety
4-1. Before mounting the head (11) onto the tube (12).
- Ensure that the control knobs are in the (
) position
- Screw the nozzle (with its washer) which is in a bag with the
screws on the gas inlet of the appliance.
- Use a wrench to immobilize the inlet connection of the appli-
ance and tighten or loosen the end piece with another
wrench.
- Push the flexible hose onto the nozzle on the patio heater
and the regulator without feeding the hose into the tube.
- Secure the hose clamp for the flexible hose at the patio
heater end.
- Do not secure the hose clamp on the regulator end.
- Ensure that the regulator seal is present and in good condi-
tion and secure the regulator to the gas cylinder.
- Open the gas inlet (valve on the cylinder (fig. 13A) or lever on
the regulator (fig. 13B)) and press the regulator reset button
if applicable (according to the regulator instructions).
- Apply the gas leak solution to the cylinder/regulator/flexible
hose/patio heater connections keeping the control knobs in
the (
) position.
- If the solution forms bubbles there is a gas leak.
To stop the leaks, tighten the nut on the regulator or the noz-
zle.
DANGER: NEVER OPERATE THE PATIO HEATER WHILE
THERE IS A LEAK.
- Turn on the gas supply using the cylinder valve or the regu-
lator lever.
- If no leak has been detected, disconnect the flexible hose
from the regulator.
- Support the appliance head on a low table and locate the gas
inlet connection.
- Slip the flexible hose into the wand and fasten the appliance
head on the wand. (fig.11)
4-2. After mounting the head onto tube (12).
- Push the flexible hose onto the regulator connection and
tighten the clamp.
- Switch on the gas supply (valve on the cylinder (fig. 13A) or
lever on the regulator (fig. 13B)) and press the regulator reset
button if applicable (according to the regulator instructions).
- Apply gas leak solution to the cylinder/regulator/flexible hose
connections whilst keeping the adjustment knobs in the
closed position.
- Check for and address any leaks found as described in para-
graph 4-1.
DANGER: NEVER OPERATE THE PATIO HEATER WHILE
THERE IS A LEAK.
-Turn on the gas supply using the cylinder valve or the regula-
tor lever.

1. Installation or replacement of the battery in
the ignition cassette (fig. 14)
- Press the catch (A) and fully remove the ignition cassette
(14) from its housing, whilst supporting it to avoid accidental
disconnection of the connection wire.
- Turn the cassette over, remove the old battery (if applicable).
- Insert the battery (type LR 03 / AAA) into its housing in accor-
dance with the polarity identification marked on the case ("+"
to "+" and "-" to "-").
- Reinstall the ignition cassette (14), ensuring that it is proper-
ly pushed home inside its housing.
Instructions for electrical and electronic equipment
waste:
Do not throw worn batteries in the bin. Leave them in a contai-
ner provided for recycling.
Remove batteries before discarding the equipment.
This recycling symbol means that this appliance is
subject to separate collection. At the end of its use-
ful life, the appliance must be disposed of correctly.
The appliance must not be disposed of with unsor-
ted municipal waste. Do not dump, do not incinera-
te: the presence of certain hazardous materials in
the electrical and electronic equipment may be
harmful to the environment and have potential
effects on human health. If you wish to dispose of
your appliance, please take it to a waste recovery
centre designed for this purpose (drop-off centre).
Contact your local authorities for information.
Separate collection of waste favours reuse, recy-
cling or other forms of recovery of recyclable mate-
rials contained in waste.
2. Operating your heater
2-1. Lighting the burner using the electronic ignition (fig. 19)
- If the lantern is not in use (Sun Force Advantage Deluxe),
switch on the gas supply using the cylinder valve (fig. 13-A)
or the regulator lever (fig. 13-B) and reset if necessary.
- Switch on the patio heater by turning the control knob (21)
anticlockwise as far as it will go.
- Press the ignition button (B) and, at the same time, press the
control knob (21).
- As soon as the burner is lit: release the ignition button, but con-
tinue to hold the control knob in (21) for a further 15 seconds.
- Release the control knob: the heater should operate at full
power.
- If the burner goes out: repeat the ignition sequence.
NB:
- The burner will turn black after the first use; this is perfectly
normal and in no way reduces its performance.
2-2. Lighting the burner manually (fig. 19)
-Begin the process as described in the previous paragraph,
but instead of pressing the ignition button, apply a burning
match (C) to the top edge of the radiating screen.
- As soon as it lights, remove the match.
2-3. Adjusting the heater
- To adjust for minimum heating: turn the knob (21) anticlock-
wise.
2-4. Turning the patio heater off
- Turn the knob (21) clockwise to the (
) position.
NOTE: The patio heater is fitted with two safety devices
1) The "flame failure" safety device automatically shuts off the
gas supply to the heater burner if the latter goes out acci-
dentally.
2) The "anti-tilt" safety device automatically switches off the
gas supply to the entire patio heater if the latter is positioned
at an angle of more than 45° relative to the vertical or if it
topples and falls to the ground.
3. Adjusting the position of the reflector (figs. 20-
21)
For improved convenience, the reflector (22) on the patio
heater can be positioned to direct the heat at the area where
it is needed.
DO NOT TOUCH THE REFLECTOR (22) WITH BARE
HANDS AS IT MAY BE EXTREMELY HOT. Use the handle
(23) provided for this purpose by moving it vertically from top
to bottom: stop when the desired position is achieved.
- ALWAYS USE THE HANDLE TO POSITION THE REFLEC-
TOR or to bring the reflector back to the horizontal position.
Note: Do not exceed the horizontal position by raising the
handle
Protect the burner from the wind by turning the patio heater
so that the reflector acts as a screen particularly during igni-
tion.
3-1. Positioning the reflector (figs. 20 - 21)
- DO NOT TOUCH THE REFLECTOR (22) WITH BARE
HANDS AS IT MAY BE EXTREMELY HOT. Use the handle
(23) provided for this purpose by moving it vertically from top
to bottom: stop when the desired position is achieved.
ALWAYS USE THE HANDLE TO POSITION THE REFLEC-
TOR or to bring the reflector back to the horizontal position.
Note: Do not exceed the horizontal position by raising the
handle.
4. Removing and replacing the gas cylinder
- When installing or replacing a gas cylinder, always carry
out this function outdoors, never in the presence of a
flame, a heat source or a spark (cigarette, electrical patio
heater, etc.) and away from other people and flammable
materials.
- Check that the cylinder valve or the lever on the regulator is
in the closed position.
- Raise the cylinder cover so that the gas cylinder is totally free
and unhook the safety belt using the clip (M) (fig. 12).
- Disconnect the regulator from the gas cylinder.
- Remove the gas cylinder from the base of the patio heater
- Install the new gas cylinder.
- Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder (check the seal on
the regulator).
- Put the safety strap back and lower the cylinder cover right
down.
- Do not obstruct the ventilation openings of the cylinder enclo-
sure.
- Check the condition of the flexible hose.
5. Installing the mantle. (fig. 15) (models with
lantern only, Mantle: M)
- ENSURE THE PATIO HEATER IS COOL AND SWITCHED
OFF.
- Raise (A) the beam (17) and pivot it on itself by a quarter turn.
- Slide the mantle (16) onto the burner, with the largest diame-
ter hole downwards; fully insert the opening of the sleeve into
the groove(B) in the burner.
- Return the beam (17) to its initial position and insert the upper
hole of the mantle into the groove (C) in the beam.
5-1. Burning the mantle (fig. 16) (work outdoors):
- DO NOT SWITCH ON THE GAS, apply a flame (cigarette
lighter or match) to the mantle.
- Allow it to consume itself completely – the smoke produced
will change from black to white color when it is fully burned.
- (A) Place the globe (18) in position and (B) clip the cap (19)
onto the globe. (fig. 17).
6. Using the lantern (fig. 18) (models with lantern
only)
IMPORTANT: Additional advice:
WARNING: After it has been burnt, the mantle becomes
very fragile - avoid touching it, as it will break easily.
- Do not use the lantern with a torn mantle as there is a
risk that the glass will break. Replace it only with the
appropriate Campingaz® mantle.

- Remove the damaged mantle and brush away any
debris, then proceed as described under "Installing the
mantle" and "Burning the mantle".
6 -1. Lighting the lantern using the electronic ignition
-If the heater burner is not operating, open the gas supply
(cylinder valve or regulator lever).
-Switch the gas on by turning the control knob (20) anticlock-
wise, by about 1/4 turn.
-Press the ignition button (B) until the lantern lights, then
release the button.
-If several attempts are unsuccessful, check that the cylinder
contains some gas.
6-2. Lighting the lantern manually
-Apply a burning match or cigarette lighter (C) to the gap
between the glass and the cap, then gradually increase the
gas supply by turning the control knob (20) anticlockwise.
6-3. Adjusting of the brightness
-The brightness of the lantern can be adjusted by slowly turn-
ing the control knob (20).
6-4. Extinguishing the lantern
- Close the valve by turning the knob (20) fully clockwise (
( )
position).
7. Replacing the globe (models with lantern only)
ENSURE THAT THE PATIO HEATER IS COOL AND
SWITCHED OFF.
- Remove the cap (19) from the top of the globe (18).
- Remove the broken globe taking care not to injure yourself
with the sharp fragments
- Install the new globe and clip the cap on top (fig. 17).
8. Replacing the mantle (models with lantern only)
See the "Installing the mantle" paragraph.
9. Moving the equipment (Sun Force Advantage
Deluxe / Sun Force Advantage Comfort)
Never move the equipment whilst in service for safety
reasons.
- Shut down the equipment as indicated in paragraph 3-2-4
and 3-6-4 (models with lantern only)
- Close the gas inlet (cylinder valve (fig. 13A) and/or regulator
lever (figure 13B)).
- Check that the safety strap is holding the gas cylinder firmly
in its housing.
- Tilt the equipment backwards until supported by the wheels
and move it slowly. (fig. 25)
10. Maintenance
10-1. Inspection of the flexible hose between the valves
and the heater burner
- Once per year, check the condition of the hose (which has no
date limit). To do this:
4 disconnect the regulator from the cylinder,
4 remove the control knobs (20) and (21),
4 position the reflector vertically,
4 unscrew the 5 screws (25) - fig. 22 - and remove the flange,
4 the flexible hose appears (26) (fig. 23).
-Check that the flexible hose is free from any signs of perish-
ing, such as cracking, cuts or burns.
-If the hose has any defects, return the patio heater to your
supplier.
WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THIS HOSE
YOURSELF
- If there are no defects, reinstall the flange and secure it with
the 5 screws (25).
10-2. Flexible hose between the regulator and the head of
the patio heater
- Check the state of the flexible hose once a month and repla-
ce it if it shows signs of ageing or surface cracks.
- Replace the flexible hose with a new hose of the same length
and equivalent quality.
- The flexible hose (whether pre-fitted with endpieces or not)
should be replaced according to the timescale indicated
above depending on the country.
- Perform the leak tests in accordance with § 4.
11. Storage and operating anomalies
Only store the patio heater when it has completely cooled:
- Check that the gas supply is properly shut off at the gas cylin-
der (cylinder valve or regulator lever in the closed position).
IMPORTANT: Store the patio heater and its gas cylinder in a
cool, dry and well ventilated place. DANGER: always store out
of reach of children, never in a basement or a cellar. Propane
gas cylinders must be stored outside, in a well ventilated area,
away from inhabited buildings and their outbuildings.
- For extended storage of the patio heater:
4 remove the cylinder from the patio heater,
4 place the reflector in the vertical position and protect it with
a cover, to prevent spiders from entering the venturis of the
burners (spider webs create long flames at the burner).
- In the event of jets becoming blocked (the cylinder still con-
tains gas but the patio heater will not light) do not attempt to
unblock them, return the patio heater to your supplier.
12. Guarantee conditions
The product is covered by a total parts and labour warranty for
2 years with effect from the purchase date, excluding return
transport charges that should be borne by the consumer. The
warranty applies when the delivered product does not conform
to the order or is defective, from the moment that the claim is
accompanied by proof of purchase date (e.g. invoice, till
receipt). The product should be returned carriage paid, com-
plete and assembled, to an authorised after-sales service cen-
tre, with the claim describing the nature of the problem. A pro-
duct for which a claim is being made may be repaired, replaced
or reimbursed, in full or partially. The warranty is null and void
and does not apply if the damage is caused by (i) incorrect pro-
duct use or storage, (ii) defective product maintenance or main-
tenance that fails to comply with the instructions for use, (iii)
repair, modification or servicing of the product by unauthorised
third parties, (iv) the use of non-original spare parts.

- Con temperatura inferiore a 5°C va evitato l'uso di gas buta-
no.
ATTENZIONE: alcune parti accessibili (parabola) possono
essere estremamente calde. Tenerle lontano dai bambini.
- Forti raffiche di vento possono rovesciare l'apparecchio. Fare
attenzione al ribaltamento in caso di forte vento.
- Se si avverte odore di gas :
4chiudere il rubinetto della bombola o la manopola del rego-
latore di pressione del gas
4spegnere la fiamma
4se l'odore persiste, staccare il regolatore di pressione dalla
bombola, portare la bombola all'aria aperta e consultare il
rivenditore della bombola.
Far esaminare e riparare l'apparecchio prima di riutilizzarlo.
- Chiudere sempre il rubinetto della bombola e/o la valvola di
regolazione del gas dopo l'uso.
2. Bombola del gas
Il presente apparecchio è stato appositamente studiato per
funzionare con bombole di gas butano o propano da 6 a 15
kg., munite di apposita valvola di regolazione (vedi gas e
pressioni di funzionamento a pagina 2,3,4). Utilizzare unica-
mente il tipo di gas e di bombola indicati dal costruttore.
Per ottenere una resa ottimale in qualunque tipo di condizioni
climatiche, vi consigliamo di utilizzare, preferibilmente, gas
propano.
3. Tubo flessibile del gas
Questo calorifero per la veranda deve essere utilizzato con un
tubo flessibile di 1,25 m di lunghezza, fissato con collari ser-
ratubi.
Questo calorifero per la veranda deve essere utilizzato con un
tubo flessibile studiato per un'alimentazione con gas butano e
propano. Il tubo deve essere sostituito se danneggiato e se
presenta la minima screpolatura. Non tirare o torcere il tubo e
mantenerlo lontano da qualsiasi fonte potenziale di calore.
Svizzera, Germania, Austria:
Collegamento del tubo flessibile : per collegare il tubo all'es-
tremità dell'apparecchio, stringere il dado saldamente ma
senza eccesso con 2 chiavi adatte:
4chiave del 14 per bloccare l'estremità,
4chiave del 17 per avvitare il dado del tubo.
1 - Montaggio
Seguire l'ordine di montaggio consultando, contemporaneamente, il testo e i disegni.
1) Togliere tutti i pezzi dall'imballaggio e predisporli secondo gli schemi di montaggio acclusi.
2) Procedere al montaggio secondo l'ordine indicato dalle illustrazioni.
2 - Sicurezza

Questo apparecchio per il riscaldamento di terrazze va utiliz-
zato con un tubo flessibile da 1,25 m per gas butano o pro-
pano, conforme alle vigenti normative nazionali (NF, BS, UNE,
UNI ecc....)
Il flessibile va sostituito se danneggiato, se presenta segni
d'usura o fessure. Non tirare e non torcere. Tenere lontano da
qualunque tipo di materiale che rischi di sprigionare calore.
4.Prove di tenuta
Operate all'esterno, lontano da qualsiasi materiale infiamma-
bile e dalla fiamma viva. Non fumare. Non utilizzare la fiamma
per individuare una fuga di gas.
4-1. Prima di montare la testa dell'apparecchio sul tubo

- Verificare che i volantini di regolazione sono in posizione
chiusa (
).
- Avvitare l'ugello (con la sua rondella ) contenuto con le viti in
un sacchetto fissato sul raccordo d'arrivo del gas dell'appa-
recchio.
- Spingere il tubo flessibile intorno all'ugello sul calorifero per
veranda e sul regolatore senza introdurlo nel tubo (12)
.
- Utilizzare una chiave per immobilizzare il raccordo d'ingres-
so dell'apparecchio e stringere o allentare l'estremità con
un'altra chiave.
- Fissare il collare di serraggio del tubo flessibile all'estremità
lato calorifero per la veranda.
- Non fissare il collare di serraggio del tubo flessibile all'estre-
mità lato regolatore.
- Verificare la presenza e lo stato della guarnizione del regola-
tore poi fissare il regolatore sulla bombola del gas.
- Aprire l'arrivo del gas (rubinetto sulla bombola (fig. 13A) o
leva sul regolatore (fig. 13B)) e premere il pulsante di re-
inizializzazione del regolatore se è il caso (secondo le istru-
zioni di utilizzazione del regolatore).
- Applicare la soluzione rivelatrice di fughe di gas sui raccordi
della bombola del regolatore, del tubo flessibile e del calori-
fero mantenendo il bottone di comando in posizione ARRES-
TO (
).
- Se delle bolle appaiono nel punto dove è stata applicata la
soluzione significa che esiste una fuga di gas.
- Per arrestare la fuga, stringere il dado a livello del regolatore
o dell'ugello.
PERICOLO: QUANDO È STATA INDIVIDUATA UNA FUGA,
NON UTILIZZARE MAI IL CALORIFERO PER VERANDA.
- Interrompere l'alimentazione del gas (rubinetto della bombo-
la o leva del regolatore di pressione).
- Se non viene individuata nessuna fuga, staccare il tubo fles-
sibile dal regolatore.
- Posare l'apparecchio su un tavolo, con il raccordo d'ingresso
del gas in alto.
- Far passare il tubo flessibile dentro il tubo e fissare la testa
dell'apparecchio sul tubo (fig.11).
4-2. Dopo aver fissato la testa dell'apparecchio sul tubo
- Infilare il tubo flessibile sull'estremità del regolatore di pres-
sione e fissare il collare.
- Aprire l'arrivo del gas (rubinetto della bombola (fig. 13A) o
leva del regolatore di pressione (fig. 13B)) e premere sull'e-
ventuale pulsante di riarmo del regolatore di pressione
(secondo le istruzioni regolatore di pressione).
- Mettere il liquido schiumogeno sui raccordi bombola/regola-
tore di pressione/tubo flessibile lasciando i volantini di rego-
lazione in posizione chiusa.
- Eliminare le perdite eventuali come indicato al paragrafo 4-1.
Non mettere in servizio un apparecchio che perde.
- Chiudere l'arrivo del gas (rubinetto della bombola o leva del
regolatore di pressione).

1. Sistemazione o cambio della pila d'alimentazione
nella scatola d'accensione (fig. 14)
- Premere sulla linguetta (A) e togliere interamente la scatola
d'accensione (14) dal suo alloggiamento mantenendola per
non strappare i fili di collegamento.
- Rovesciare la scatola, togliere la pila usata (se necessario).
- Inserire la pila (tipo LR 03 / AAA) nell'alloggiamento rispet-
tando la posizione indicata nella scatola ("+" con "+" e "-" con
"-").
- Rimettere la scatola d'accensione (14) a posto facendo atten-
zione che sia inserita a fondo nel suo alloggiamento.
Rifiuti elettrici ed elettronici:
Non gettare le pile usate nella netturbe. Metterle in un conte-
nitore debitamente previsto per il riciclaggio.
Togli le pile prima di buttar via l'apparecchio.
Questo simbolo di riciclaggio indica che l'apparecchio
è oggetto di smistamento selettivo dei rifiuti. Al termi-
ne della sua durata di vita, l'apparecchio va messo
correttamente agli scarti. L'apparecchio non va
messo con i rifiuti municipali non smistati. Non
abbandonarlo nella natura, non incinerire: la presen-
za di determinate sostanzepericolose negli equipag-
giamenti elettrici ed consegnatelo ad un centro di
valorizzazione dei rifiuti specialmente previsto a tale
scopo (ricicleria). Informatevi presso le autorità loca-
li. La raccolta selettiva di tali rifiuti favorisce la riutiliz-
zazione, il riciclaggio od altre forme di valorizzazione
dei materiali riciclabili contenuti nei rifiuti.
2. Utilizzazione del riscaldamento
2-1. Accensione del bruciatore con il sistema elettronico
(fig.19)
- Se la lampada non è in servizio (Sun Force Advantage
Deluxe) aprire l'alimentazione del gas (rubinetto della bom-
bola (fig. 13-A) o leva del regolatore di pressione (fig. 13-B)
e riarmo eventuale).
- Aprire il gas girando il volantino (21) in senso antiorario fino
all'arresto.
- Premere il pulsante (B) della scatola d'accensione e preme-
re simultaneamente il volantino (21).
- All'accensione : allentare il pulsante della scatola d'accensio-
ne ma continuare a mantenere il volantino (21) premuto per
15 secondi.
- Allentare la pressione sul volantino : il riscaldamento funzio-
na al massimo.
- Se il bruciatore si spegne : ricominciare l'operazione d'ac-
censione.
N.B :
- Dopo la prima utilizzazione, la griglia del bruciatore diventa
nera: cio' è del tutto normale e non compromette le presta-
zioni dell'apparecchi.
2-2. Accensione manuale del bruciatore (fig.19)
- Operare come indicato nel paragrafo qui sopra, ma al posto
di premere il pulsante della scatola d'accensione, presentare
un fiammifero acceso (C) al livello superiore della griglia
radiante.
- Una volta effettuata l'accensione, togliere il fiammifero.
2-3. Regolazione del riscaldamento
- Per ottenere il funzionamento al minimo : girare il volantino
(21) in senso antiorario fino alla posizione portata ridotta.
2-4 Spegnimento
- Girare il volantino (21) in senso orario fino all'arresto in posi-
zione (
).
NOTA : L'apparecchio è dotato di due sicurezze
1) La " sicurezza in caso di spegnimento " interrompe auto-
maticamente l'afflusso di gas al bruciatore di riscaldamento
se questo si spegne accidentalmente.
2) La " sicurezza in caso di rovesciamento " interrompe imme-
diatamente l'arrivo del gas a tutto l'apparecchio se questo si
trova in una posizione inclinata con un angolo superiore a
45° rispetto alla verticale o se viene rovesciato e cade per
terra.
3. Orientamento della parabola (fig.20 - 21)
Per maggiore comfort, la parabola (22) dell'apparecchio può
essere orientata in modo da inviare l'irradiamento verso la
zona da scaldare.
Proteggere il bruciatore dall'influsso del vento girando l'appa-
recchio affinché la parabola faccia da schermo soprattutto al
momento dell'accensione.
3-1. Orientamento della parabola (fig.20 - 21)
- Non toccare la parabola (22) a mani nude perché può esse-
re molto calda. Utilizzare la maniglia (23) prevista allo scopo
tirandola verticalmente dall'alto in basso: fermarsi sulla posi-
zione voluta.
- Utilizzare sempre la maniglia per cambiare l'orientamento o
rimettere la parabola in posizione orizzontale.
Nota : Non oltrepassare la posizione orizzontale risolle-
vando la maniglia.
4. Smontare e cambiare la bombola del gas
- Per la sistemazione o la sostituzione di una bombola del
gas, operare sempre all'aperto, mai in presenza di una
fiamma, di una fonte di calore o di una scintilla (sigaret-
ta, apparecchio elettrico ecc. ) e lontano dalle altre per-
sone o dalle materie infiammabili.
- Verificare che il rubinetto della bombola o la leva del regola-
tore di pressione siano in posizione chiusa.
- Sollevare il mascherino della bombola del gas in modo da sbloc-
carla interamente e staccare la cinghia di sicurezza mediante la
molla (M). (fig.12)
- Staccare il regolatore di pressione dalla bombola del gas.
- Togliere la bombola del gas dalla base dell'apparecchio.
- Sistemare la nuova bombola del gas.
- Collegare il regolatore di pressione alla bombola del gas
(verificare la guarnizione del regolatore di pressione).
- Rimettere il regolatore di pressione sulla bombola. Verificarne la
guarnizione (verificare che la guarnizione del regolatore di pres-
sione sia correttamente installata e in grado di funzionare).
- Non ostruire le prese d'aria dell'alloggiamento della bombola.
- Verificare lo stato del tubo flessibile.
5. Installazione della reticella. (fig.15) (modello con
lampada, Reticella: M)
- Sollevare (A) il braccio (17) e farlo girare su se stesso di un
quarto di giro.
- Far scivolare la reticella (16) sul bruciatore, il foro dal diame-
tro più grande verso il basso ; introdurre bene l’orifizio della
reticella nella gola (B) del bruciatore.
- Riportare il braccio (17) nella posizione iniziale ed introdurre
l’orifizio superiore della reticella nelle gole (C) del braccio.
5-1. Bruciatura della reticella (fig.16) (operare all'aperto):
- NON APRIRE IL GAS, presentare una fiamma (accendino o
fiammifero) vicino alla reticella.
- Lasciare che questa si consumi interamente (passaggio ad
un colore nero con emissione di fumo bianco : combustione
terminata).
- (A) Sistemare il vetro (18) al suo posto e (B) agganciare il
cappello (19) sul vetro.(fig. 17).
6. Utilizzazione della lampada (fig. 18)
(modello con
lampada)
Qualche consiglio supplementare:
ATTENZIONE: dopo il primo utilizzo la reticella diventa molto
fragile. Evitare di toccarla perché potrebbe rompersi.
- Non far funzionare la lampada con una reticella che pre-
senta lacerazioni (rischio di rottura del vetro). Sostituirla
unicamente con una reticella speciale Campingaz®.
- Togliere la reticella danneggiata e soffiare sul bruciatore
per togliere la polvere, poi operare come indicato nei
paragrafi " Installazione della reticella " e " Bruciatura
della reticella ".

6-1. Accensione della lampada con il sistema elettronico.
- Se il bruciatore di riscaldamento non è in servizio, aprire l'a-
limentazione del gas (rubinetto della bombola o leva del
regolatore di pressione e riarmo eventuale).
- Aprire il gas girando il volantino (20) in senso antiorario di
circa 1/4 di giro.
- Premere il pulsante (B) della scatola di accensione (14) fino
all'accensione, poi allentare il pulsante.
- Se diversi tentativi restano infruttuosi, verificare se il serba-
toio contiene gas.
6-2. Accensione manuale della lampada
- Presentare un fiammifero acceso (C) a livello dell'apertura tra
il vetro ed il cappello, poi aprire progressivamente il gas
girando il volantino (20) in senso antiorario.
6-3. Regolazione dell'intensità luminosa
- È possibile regolare l'intensità della lampada girando lenta-
mente il volantino (20).
6-4. Spegnimento
- Chiudere il rubinetto girando il volantino (20) a fondo in senso
orario (senso ( ) della freccia).
7. Sostituzione del vetro (modello con lampada)
Agire sempre quando l'apparecchio non è in funzione.
- Togliere il cappello (19) da sopra al vetro (18).
- Eliminare il vetro rotto con precauzione per non ferirsi con i
frammenti di vetro taglienti.
- Sistemare il nuovo vetro ed agganciarvi sopra il cappello.(fig. 17).
8. Sostituzione della reticella (modello con lampada)
Vedi paragrafo “Installazione della reticella”.
9. Spostamento dell'apparecchio (Sun Force
Advantage Deluxe / Sun Force Advantage Comfort)
Per motivi di sicurezza, non spostare mai l'apparecchio in
fase di funzionamento.
- Spegnere l'apparecchio come indicato al paragrafo 3-2-4 e 3-
6-4 (modello con lampada).
- Chiudere la valvola d'immissione del gas (rubinetto della bom-
bola (fig. 13A) e/o manopola del regolatore di pressione (fig.
13B)).
- Verificare che la bombola del gas sia perfettamente bloccata
dentro l'apposito alloggiamento dalla cinghia di sicurezza.
- Inclinare all'indietro l'apparecchio in modo da farlo poggiare
sulle ruote e spostarlo lentamente. (fig. 25).
10. Manutenzione
10-1. Tubo flessibile tra i rubinetti ed il bruciatore del ris-
caldamento
- Verificare una volta all'anno lo stato del tubo (che non ha data
di scadenza). Per questo :
4staccare il regolatore di pressione dalla bombola,
4togliere i volantini (20) e (21),
4orientare verticalmente la parabola,
4svitare le 5 viti (25) - fig. 22 - e togliere la coppa,
4appare il tubo flessibile (26) - fig. 23.
- Verificare che questo tubo flessibile non presenta difetti dovu-
ti all'invecchiamento come screpolature, tagli o bruciature.
- Se il tubo presenta dei difetti, riportare l'apparecchio al vos-
tro rivenditore.
NON CAMBIATE DA SOLI QUESTO TUBO
- Se non ci sono anomalie, rimettere la coppa e fissarla con le
5 viti (25).
10-2. Tubo flessibile tra il regolatore di pressione e la testa
dell'apparecchio
- Verificare, una volta al mese, lo stato del flessibile e sostituirlo
se presenta segni di usura o fessure.
- Il flessibile va sostituito con un altro flessibile d'identica lun-
ghezza e di qualità equivalente.
- Il tubo flessibile va sostituito secondo le frequenze indicate dalle
vigenti normative nazionali.
- Effettuare i controlli di tenuta secondo il § 4.
11. Stoccaggio e anomalie di funzionamento
Dopo il completo raffreddamento del vostro apparecchio :
- Verificare che il gas è ben chiuso a livello della bombola di
gas.(rubinetto della bombola o leva del regolatore di pressio-
ne in posizione chiusa).
- Conservare l'apparecchio e la sua bombola di gas in un
luogo fresco, asciutto e ventilato, lontano dalla portata dei
bambini, mai in un sottosuolo o in cantina. La bombola del
gas propano deve essere conservata fuori dal locali di abita-
zione e dai locali annessi.
- Per uno stoccaggio prolungato dell'apparecchio :
4togliere la bombola dall'apparecchio,
4mettere la parabola in posizione verticale e coprirla con una
fodera, per evitare di lasciar entrare ragni nei tubi di Venturi
dei bruciatori (le tele di ragno provocano lunghe fiamme a
livello del bruciatore).
- Se gli iniettori si otturano, (la bombola contiene ancora gas
ma l'apparecchio non si accende), non cercare di sostituirli,
ma riportare l'apparecchio al vostro rivenditore.
12. Condizioni di applicazione della garanzia
Il prodotto è coperto da una garanzia totale pezzi e manodope-
ra di anni 2 a decorrere dalla data d’acquisto, escluse le spese
di spedizione in caso di resa del prodotto, che saranno a cari-
co del consumatore. La garanzia si applica se il prodotto
consegnato non è conforme all’ordine o è difettoso, purché il
reclamo sia accompagnato da un documento giustificativo indi-
cante la data d’acquisto (ad es. : fattura, scontrino). Il prodotto
verrà rispedito franco di porto, completo e non smontato, ad
uno dei nostri centri autorizzati di assistenza post-vendita ; nel
reclamo, verrà descritto il tipo di problema riscontrato. Il pro-
dotto oggetto del reclamo potrà essere riparato, sostituito o rim-
borsato, in tutto o in parte. La garanzia è nulla e inapplicabile
quando il danno risulta (i) da un errato utilizzo o uno stoccag-
gio inidoneo del prodotto, (ii) da un difetto di manutenzione del
prodotto o da manutenzione non conforme a quella indicata
nelle istruzioni per l’uso, (iii) dalla riparazione, dalla modifica o
dalla manutenzione del prodotto effettuate da terzi non autoriz-
zati, (iv) dall’uso di pezzi di ricambio non originali.

erg warm worden. Houd kleine kinderen op afstand.
- Grote windstoten kunnen het apparaat omverwerpen.
Wanneer er een harde wind staat, moet erop gelet worden
dat het apparaat niet omvergeworpen wordt.
- Waneer er gas wordt geroken :
4Draai de gaskraan dicht (kraan van de fles of de hendel van
de reduceerklep)
4Doof alle vlammen
4Wanneer de geur aanhoudt, sluit u de reduceerklep van de
fles. Vervolgens zet u de fles in de buitenlucht en neemt u
contact op met de distributeur van uw fles.
- Het apparaat moet opnieuw worden onderzocht en moet wor-
den gerepareerd voordat u deze opnieuw kunt gebruiken.
- Na gebruik sluit u altijd het gas af met de kraan van de fles
en/of de hendel van de reduceerklep.
2. Gasfles
Dit apparaat kan gebruikt worden met Butaan of Propaan gas-
flessen van 6 tot 15 kg, uitgevoerd met een passende redu-
ceerklep (zie gas en gebruiksdruk, pagina 2,3 en 4).
Gebruik alleen het type gas en fles dat aangegeven wordt
door de fabrikant.
Voor een optimaal rendement in alle weersomstandigheden,
raden wij u aan om bij voorkeur Propaan te gebruiken.
3. Soepele gasslang
Dit apparaat, dat bestemd is voor de verwarming van terras-
sen, moet worden gebruikt met een flexibele slang van 1,25
m, bestemd voor het gebruik van butaan en propaan, conform
aan de nationale reglementeringen die van kracht zijn (NF,
BS, UNE, UNI, enz. ...)
De slang moet worden vervangen wanneer het beschadigd is,
wanneer het ouderdomsverschijnselen of haarscheurtjes ver-
toont. Trek er niet aan en verdraai het niet. Houd het op
afstand van alle delen die warm kunnen worden.

1 - Montage
Volg de montagevolgorde strikt op met gelijktijdig gebruik van de handleidingen en de tekeningen.
1) Alle onderdelen uitpakken en opzoeken met behulp van de hier bijgevoegde montage schema's.
2) De montage uitvoeren in de volgorde zoals aangegeven in de illustraties.
2 - Veiligheid
4. Het opsporen van een eventueel gaslek.
Buitenshuis gebruiken, ver van brandbare stoffen en vlam-
men houden. Niet roken. Geen vlam gebruiken om een gas-
lek te zoeken.
4-1. Alvorens de kop van het apparaat op de stang te mon-
teren
- Wees er zeker van dat de wieltjes voor afstelling in gesloten
positie staan
( ).
- Draai het pijpstuk op (met de bijbehorende ring), dit is mee-
geleverd met de schroefbevestigingen in een zakje dat aan
de gastoevoer aan het gasblok is bevestigd.
- Gebruik een sleutel om de inlaataansluiting van het apparaat
vast te klemmen en draai het uiteinde vast of los met een
andere sleutel.
- Druk de slang over het pijpstuk aan de terrasverwarmer en
op de regelaar, maar zorg dat de slang niet in de telescoop-
buis schuift.
- Bevestig de slangklem over het slanguiteinde aan de kant
van de terrasverwarmer.
- Zet de slangklem over het slanguiteinde aan de gasregelaar
niet vast.
- Controleer of de afdichting aan de regelaar aanwezig is en in
goede staat verkeert en bevestig dan de regelaar aan de
gasfles.
- Open de gastoevoer (de kraan op de gasfles (fig. 13A) of de
hendel aan de regelaar (fig. 13B)) en druk zo nodig de terug-
stelknop op de regelaar in (zie de gebruiksinstructies bij de
gasregelaar).
- Breng de gaslekdetectievloeistof aan op de aansluitingen
aan de gasfles en de regelaar, op de slang en op de verwar-
mer en houd daarbij de bedieningsknop in de stand ARRET
(UIT).
- Als er belletjes te zien zijn daar waar detectievloeistof is aan-
gebracht, duidt dit op de aanwezigheid van een gaslek.
- Om de gaslekkage te stoppen draait u de schroef aan bij de
regelaar of bij het pijpstuk en controleert u of de slang correct
is gemonteerd.
GEVAARLIJK : GEBRUIK DE TERRASVERWARMER
NOOIT NADAT EEN GASLEK IS GEVONDEN.
- De gastoevoer afsluiten (fleskraan of hendel van het redu-
ceerventiel).
- Indien geen lek ontdekt is, de gasslang loskoppelen van het
reduceerventiel.
- Steek de slang in de buis en bevestig de kop van het appa-
raat op de buis (fig.11).
4-2. Na bevestiging van de kop van het apparaat op de
stang
- De gasslang op het uiteinde van het reduceerventiel schui-
ven en de slangeklemmetjes bevestigen.
- De gastoevoer openen (fleskraan (fig. 13A) of hendel van het
reduceerventiel (fig. 13B)) en op de eventuele knop drukken
voor spanning van het reduceerventiel (volgens de handlei-
ding van het reduceerventiel).
- De schuimende vloeistof op de fles/reduceerventiel/soepele
slang/ koppelingen gieten met de wieltjes voor afstelling in
gesloten positie.
- Eventuele lekken stoppen zoals aangegeven in paragraaf 4-1.
Een lekkend apparaat niet in werking stellen.
- De gastoevoer afsluiten (fleskraan of hendel van het redu-
ceerventiel).

1. Plaatsing of vervanging van de voedingsbatterij in
de cassette voor het aansteken (fig. 14)
- Op het lipje (A) drukken en de electronische aanstekingscas-
sette (14) geheel maar voorzichtig van zijn plaats halen om
de draad van aansluiting niet los te trekken.
- De cassette omdraaien, en, indien nodig, de oude batterij
vervangen.
- Plaats de nieuwe batterij (type LR 03 / AAA) zo in de batte-
rijhouder, dat de polen van de batterij overeenkomen met de
poolaanduiding op de batterijhouder ("+" met de "+" en "-"
met de "-").
- De electronische aanstekingscassette (14) zorgvuldig terug
plaatsen.
ELEKTRISCHE EN ELEKTRONISCHE ONDERDLEN ALS
AFVAL:
Lege batterijen mogen niet in de vuilnisbak worden gegooid.
Deze moeten in een special bak worden afgevoerd, voor recy-
cling.
Verwijder de batterijen voordat het apparaat wordt weg-
gegooid.
Dit symbool van de recycling betekent dat dit appa-
raat als gescheiden afval moet worden afgevoerd.
Aan het einde van zijn levensduur moet het apparaat
op de juiste wijze worden afgevoerd. Het apparaat
mag niet worden vermengd met niet geselecteerd
afval. Gooi het apparaat niet in de natuur en het mag
ook niet worden verbrand : de aanwezigheid van
bepaalde gevaarlijkestoffen in het elektrische en
elektronische gedeelte kunnen vervuilend voor het
milieu zijn en eventueel invloed hebben op de men-
selijke gezondheid. Indien u het apparaat kwijt wilt,
dan moet het naar een plaats voor gescheiden afval
worden gebracht dat hiervoor speciaal is ingericht.
Neem hiervoor contact op met de plaatselijke over-
heid. Het scheiden van het afval bevordert het her-
gebruik, de recycling of andere vormen van het weer
gebruiken van de te recyclen materialen die zich in
dit afval bevinden.
2. Gebruik voor verwarming
2-1. aansteken van de brander met het elektronische
systeem (fig.19)
- Als de lamp (Sun Force Advantage Deluxe) niet in werking is,
de gastoevoer openen (fleskraan (fig. 13-A) of de hendel van
het reduceerventiel (fig. 13-B) en eventueel spannen).
- De gas toevoer openen door de draaiknop(21) open te draai-
en in de tegengestelde richting van de klok tot aan de aan-
slag.
- Op knop (B) van de electronische aanstekingscassette druk-
ken en tegelijk de draaiknop (21) indrukken.
- Zodra ontsteking plaats vindt: de knop van de electronische
aanstekingscassette los laten maar de draaiknop (21) nog
gedurende 15 seconden ingedrukt houden.
- De druk op de draaiknop los laten: de verwarming werkt op
het maximum niveau.
- Indien de brander uitdooft: de procedure van aansteking
weer opnieuw uitvoeren.
NOTA:
- Na de eerste ingebruikneming wordt het rooster van de bran-
der zwart. Dit is normaal en vermindert zijn prestaties niet.
2-2. aansteken van de brander met de hand (fig.19)
- Opereren zoals aangegeven in de paragraaf hierboven maar
in plaats van op de knop van de electronische aanstekings-
cassette te drukken, een brandende lucifer (C) op het boven-
ste niveau van het uitstralingsrooster houden.
- De lucifer verwijderen zodra ontbranding plaats vindt.
2-3. Afstelling van de verwarming
- Voor minimale werking: de draaiknop (21) draaien in tegen-
gestelde richting van de klok tot de positie van beperkt gas-
verbruik.
2-4. Uitdoven
- De draaiknop (21) met de klok meedraaien tot aan de positie
( ).
NOTA: Het apparaat is uitgerust met twee veiligheidssystemen
1) De gastoevoer van de verwarming wordt automatisch afge-
sloten wanneer deze laatste per ongeluk uitgaat.
2) De gastoevoer van het gehele apparaat wordt automatisch
afgesloten als het zich onder een hoek van 45°bevindt ten
opzichte van de verticale positie of als het apparaat omvalt.
3. Oriëntatie van de kap (fig.20 - 21)
Voor meer comfort kan de kap (22) van het apparaat op hoog-
te afgesteld worden en gericht worden zodat de straling
terechtkomt op de zone die verwarmd moet worden.
De brander beschermen tegen wind door het apparaat zo te
plaatsen dat de kap een scherm vormt, in het bijzonder tijdens
het aansteken.
3-1. Oriëntatie van de kap (fig. 20 - 21)
- De kap (22) niet met blote handen aanraken, want deze kan
zeer heet zijn. Het handvat (23) gebruiken, dat daarvoor
bestemd is door er in verticale richting van boven naar bene-
den aan te trekken: Stoppen op de gewenste positie.
- Altijd het handvat gebruiken om van richting te veranderen of
de kap in horizontale positie terug zetten.
Nota: Bij het omhoog brengen van het handvat, niet ver-
der gaan dan de horizontale positie.
4. Demontage en vervanging van de gasfles
- Bij plaatsing of vervanging van een gasfles, altijd in de
open lucht opereren, nooit in de nabijheid van een vlam,
een warmtebron of een vonk (sigaret, elektrisch appa-
raat,enz..) en ver verwijderd van andere personen en ont-
vlambare stoffen.
- Controleer of de fleskraan of de hendel van het reduceer-
ventiel in gesloten positie staat.
- Til de kap van de fles omhoog zodat de gasfles volledig wordt
losgemaakt en koppel de veiligheidsriem los met behulp van
de clip (M). (fig.12).
- Het reduceerventiel van de gasfles ontkoppelen.
- De gasfles uit het apparaat halen.
- De nieuwe gasfles op zijn plaats zetten.
- Het reduceerventiel aan de gasfles koppelen (de pakking van
het reduceerventiel controleren).
- Plaats de veiligheidsriem terug en laat de kap van de fles tot
onderaan zakken.
- De ventilatieopeningen van de behuizing van de fles niet afs-
luiten.
- De staat van de slang controleren.
5. Plaatsing van het gloeikousje (fig.15) (model met
lamp, Gloeikousje: M)
- De steunarm (17) oplichten (A) en een kwartslag draaien.
- Het gloeikousje(16) op de brander laten glijden, de grootste
opening naar beneden gericht ; de opening ruimschoots in de
gleuf (B) van de brander steken.
- De steunarm (17) in zijn oorspronkelijke positie terugzetten
en de bovenste opening van het gloeikousje in de gleuf (C)
van de steunarm steken.
5-1. Verbranding van het gloeikousje (fig.16) (doe dit in
de open lucht):
- DE GASKRAAN NIET OPEN DOEN, een vlam (sigaretten-
aansteker of lucifer) bij het gloeikousje houden.
- Het gloeikousje geheel laten uitbranden (verandering van
zwarte kleur met rook ontwikkeling in witte kleur: de verbran-
ding is beëindigd.
- (A) Het glas (18) plaatsen en (B) de kap (19) plaatsen op het
glas.(fig. 17).

6. Gebruik van de lamp (fig. 18) (model met lamp)
Enkele aanvullende raadgevingen:
OPLETTEN: Het gloeikousje wordt na een eerste gebruik
zeer teer. Aanraken vermijden want het gloeikousje verpul-
vert tot stof.
- De lamp niet met een gloeikousje met scheuren laten
functioneren, (risico dat het glas breekt). Het gloeikous-
je uitsluitend vervangen door een speciale Campingaz®
gloeikousje.
- Een beschadigd gloeikousje verwijderen, daarna op de
brander blazen om die van stof te ontdoen , en opnieuw
plaatsen zoals aangegeven in de paragrafen "Plaatsing
van het gloeikousje" en "Verbranding van de gloeikousje".
6-1. De lamp met het elektronische systeem aansteken
- Als de brander van verwarming niet in dienst is, de gaskraan
openen (fleskraan of hendel van het reduceerventiel en even-
tueel spanning).
- Het gas openen door de draaiknop (20) in de tegengestelde
richting van de klok te draaien, ongeveer een kwartslag.
- Op knop (B) van de electronische aanstekingscassette (14)
drukken tot aansteking, daarna de knop los laten.
- Indien meerdere testen zonder resultaat zijn, controleren of
de gasfles nog gas bevat.
6-2. Aansteking van de lamp met de hand
- Een brandende lucifer (C) bij de opening tussen het glas en de
kap houden, daarna geleidelijk de gaskraan openen door de
draaiknop (20) in de tegengestelde richting van de klok te draaien.
6-3. Afstelling van de lichtsterkte
- De lichtsterkte van de lamp kan afgesteld worden door de
draaiknop (20) langzaam draaien.
6-4. Doven
- De kraan sluiten door de draaiknop (20) tot de aanslag met
de klok mee te draaien.
7. V
ervanging van het glas (model met lamp)
Pas doen als het apparaat uitstaat!!
- De kap (19) van de top van het glas (18) verwijderen.
- Gebroken glas voorzichtig verwijderen om verwonding met
scherpe glasstukken te vermijden.
- Het nieuwe glas op zijn plaats zetten en de kap er bovenop
plaatsen(fig. 17).
8. Vervanging van het gloeikousje (model met lamp)
Zie paragaaf "Plaatsing van het gloeikousje".
9. Verplaatsen van het apparaat (Sun Force
Advantage Deluxe / Sun F
orce Advantage Comfort
)
Omwille van veiligheidsredenen mag u het apparaat nooit
verplaatsen wanneer het in werking is.
- Stop de werking van het apparaat zoals aangegeven in para-
graaf 3-2-4 en 3-6-4 (model met lamp)
- Sluit de gastoevoer af (kraan van de fles (fig. 13A) en/of de
hendel van de reduceerklep (fig. 13B))
- Controleer of de veiligheidsriem de gasfles stevig in zijn
behuizing blokkeert.
- Kantel het apparaat naar achter zodat het steunt op de wie-
len en verplaats het langzaam. (fig. 18)
10. Onderhoud
10-1. De gasslang tussen de kranen en de brander voor
verwarming
- Eenmaal per jaar de goede staat van deze slang controleren
(die geen uiterste gebruiksdatum aangeeft). Hiervoor:
4Het reduceerventiel van de fles ontkoppelen,
4De wieltjes (20) en (21) demonteren,
4De parabool vertikaal oriënteren,
4De 5 schroeven (25) losschroeven - fig. 22 - en fles wegnemen,
4de gasslang wordt zichtbaar.
- Controleren dat deze gasslang geen teken van veroudering
vertoont zoals scheurtjes, insnijdingen of verbranding.
- Indien de slang beschadigd is moet u het apparaat naar uw
verkoper brengen.
DEZE SLANG NIET ZELF VERVANGEN
- Als niets abnormaal is, de fles op zijn plaats zetten en met
behulp van de 5 schroeven (25) vast maken.
10-2. Gasslang tussen het reduceerventiel en de kop van
het apparaat
- Controleer één keer per maand de staat van de flexibele
slang en vervang deze wanneer deze ouderdomsverschijn-
selen of haarscheurtjes vertoont.
- De buigzame slang of de flexibele slang moet worden ver-
vangen volgens de datum, die, afhankelijk van het land, op
de slang staat.
- De lekdichtheid controleren volgens paragraaf 4.
11. Opberging en afwijkingen van goede werking
Na volledige afkoeling van uw apparaat:
- Controleren dat het gas van de gasfles goed is
afgesloten.(fleskraan of hendel van het reduceerventiel in
gesloten positie)
- Het apparaat en zijn gasfles op een droge en geventileerde
plaats opbergen, buiten bereik van kinderen, nooit in een kel-
derverdieping of een kelder. De propaan gasfles moet bewaard
worden op een plaats buiten woningen of bijgebouwen.
- Voor langdurige bewaring van het apparaat:
4 De fles uit het apparaat halen,
4 De kap in verticale positie zetten en met een hoes bedek-
ken om te beletten dat spinnen in de binnenkant van de bran-
ders gaan huizen (spinnenwebben veroorzaken hoge vlam-
men uit de brander).
- In geval de sproeiers verstopt raken, (de fles bevat nog gas,
maar het apparaat weigert zich aan te steken), moet u niet
proberen die zelf te ontstoppen, maar het apparaat naar uw
verkoper brengen.
12. GARANTIEVOORWAARDEN
Het product heeft een totale garantie van 2 jaar voor onderde-
len en arbeidskosten vanaf zijn datum van aankoop, met uit-
sluiting van de kosten wanneer het product teruggestuurd
wordt, die ten laste van de gebruiker blijven. De garantie is van
toepassing wanneer het geleverde product niet in overeen-
stemming met de bestelling is of wanneer deze gebreken ver-
toont, vanaf het moment dat de klacht gepaard gaat met een
bewijsstuk van de datum van aankoop (bijv.: rekening, kassa-
bon). Het product zal franco teruggestuurd moeten worden, in
een volledige staat en niet gedemonteerd, naar één van de
erkende reparatiecentra, en in een klachtenbrief moet het vast-
gestelde probleem beschreven zijn. Het product dat het onder-
werp van de klacht is, kan ofwel hersteld, vervangen of terug-
betaald worden, geheel of gedeeltelijk. Er bestaat geen garan-
tie wanneer de schade voortkomt uit het feit (i) dat het product
onzorgvuldig is gebruikt of opgeslagen is,(ii) bij een gebrek aan
onderhoud van het product of wanneer het productie niet-con-
form aan de instructies van de gebruikstoepassing is onder-
houden, (iii) bij reparatie, wijziging, onderhoud van het product
door niet-erkende derden, (iv) bij het gebruik van niet originele
vervangingsonderdelen.
N.B. : het gebruik van dit product voor professionele doelein-
den is van garantie uitgesloten.

ATENÇÃO: Partes acessíveis (reflector) podem ficar muito
quentes. Afaste as crianças mais pequenas.
- Fortes rajadas de vento podem derrubar o aparelho.
Em situações de vento forte, deverá prestar especial atenção
para que este não abane.
- Caso cheire a gás :
4Feche a admissão de gás (torneira da garrafa ou manete
do regulador de pressão)
4Apague todas as chamas
4Caso o cheiro persista, desligue o regulador de pressão da
garrafa, coloque-a ao ar livre e informe o seu revendedor da
garrafa.
O aparelho deve ser verificado e reparado antes de ser
novamente utilizado.
- Após utilização, feche sempre o gás na torneira da garrafa
e/ou a manete do regulador de pressão.
2. Garrafa de gás
Este aparelho está concebido para funcionar com garrafas de
gás butano ou propano de 6 Kg a 15 Kg, munidas de um
regulador de pressão apropriado (consultar: gás e pressão de
utilização página 2,3 e 4).
Utilizar apenas o tipo de gás e de garrafa indicados pelo fabri-
cante.
Para um rendimento óptimo em todas as situações climatéri-
cas, aconselhamos que utilize preferencialmente gás propano.
3. T
ubo flexível de gás
Este aparelho de aquecimento para varandas deve ser utili-
zado com um tubo flexível de 1,25m, próprio para utilização
com gás butano e ou propano, em conformidade com as
regulamentações nacionais em vigor (NF, BS, UNE, UNI,
etc.....)
Se se encontrar danificado, se apresentar sinais de envelh
cimento ou estiver gretado, deve ser substituido. Não puxar
ou torcer o tubo. Mantenha-o afastado de todas as peças que
possam aquecer.

1 - Montagem
Respeitar a ordem de montagem utilizando conjuntamente os folhetos com os textos e desenhos.
1) Retirar todas as peças da embalagem e marcá-las com os esquemas de montagem anexos.
2) Proceder à montagem de acordo com a ordem indicada pelas ilustrações.
2 - Segurança
4. Ensaios de estanqueidade
Opere no exterior dos locais, longe de qualquer material infla-
mável e com chama viva. Não fumar. Não utilizar chama para
detectar vazamento de gás.
4-1. Antes de montar a cabeça do aparelho no tubo (12)
- Verificar se as abas de regulagem estão em posição fecha-
da
( ).
- Aparafusar a boca (com a sua anilha) contida juntamente
com os parafusos num saco fixo ao raccord de entrada de
gás do aparelho.
- Utilizar uma chave para imobilizar a ligação de entrada do
aparelho e apertar ou desapertar a união com outra chave.
- Empurrar os tubos flexíveis à volta da boca sobre o radiador
de varanda e o regulador sem introduzir no tubo (fig. 10)
.
- Fixar o suporte dos tubos flexíveis à extremidade do lado do
radiador.
- Não fixar o suporte dos tubos flexíveis à extremidade do lado
do regulador.
- Verificar a presença e o bom estado da junta do regulador,
em seguida fixar o regulador à garrafa de gás.
- Abrir a entrada de gás (torneira na garrafa (fig. 13A) ou ala-
vanca no regulador (fig. 13B)) e carregar no botão de reini-
cialização do regulador caso necessário (conforme as instru-
ções de utilização do regulador).
- Aplicar a solução de detecção de fugas de gás nos raccords
da garrafa, do regulador, dos tubos flexíveis e do radiador
mantendo o botão de comando na posição DESLIGADA
( ).
- O aparecimento de bolhas no ponto de aplicação da solução
indica a presença de uma fuga de gás.
Para parar a fuga, apertar a porca ao nível do regulador ou
da boca.
PERIGO: NUNCA UTILIZAR O RADIADOR DE VARANDA
DEPOIS DA DETECÇÃO DE UMA FUGA.
- Cortar a alimentação de gás (torneira da garrafa ou punho da
válvula).
- Se não houver qualquer fuga, desconectar a mangueira da
válvula.
- Colocar o aparelho sobre uma mesa, com a ligação da entra-
da de gás ao alto.
- Passar o tubo flexível pelo tubo e fixar a cabeça do aparelho
sobre o tubo (Fig.11).
4-2. Depois da fixação da cabeça do aparelho no tubo
- Enfiar a mangueira na ponteira da válvula e fixar a braçadei-
ra.
- Abrir a entrada do gás (torneira do garrafa (fig. 13A) ou
punho da válvula (fig. 13B)) e premir o botão eventual de
armamento da válvula (segundo o manual da válvula).
- Colocar o líquido espumante nas juntas garrafa/válvula
/mangueira deixando as abas de regulagem em posição
fechada.
- Suprimir as eventuais fugas como está indicado no parágra-
fo 4-1. Não colocar em serviço um aparelho em que haja
fuga.
- Fechar a entrada do gás (torneira da garrafa ou punho da
válvula).

1. Colocação ou troca da pilha de alimentação na
cassete de ignição (fig. 14)
- Premir a lingueta (A) e retirar inteiramente a cassete de igni-
ção (14) do seu habitáculo mantendo-a ao mesmo tempo,
para não arrancar o fio de conexão.
- Pôr de cabeça para baixo a cassete, retirar a pilha usada (se
for o caso).
- Inserir a pilha (tipo LR 03 / AAA) no habitáculo respeitando a
posição indicada na caixa (" + " com " + " e " - " com " - " ).
- Colocar a cassete de ignição (14) no lugar para que seja
enfiada a fundo no seu habitátculo.
Residuos el
éctricos e electrónicos:
Não pôr no lixo as pilhas velhas. Deposite-as num contentor
previsto para este efeito para a reciclagem.
Retire as pilhas antes de pôr o aparelho no lixo.
Este símbolo de reciclagem significa que este aparel-
ho pode ser posto numa colecta selectiva. No fim de
vida, o aparelho deve ser posto correctamente no lixo.
O aparelho não deve ser posto no lixo doméstico não
seleccionado. Não deve deitá-lo fora em qualquer
lugar nem incinerá-lo porque a presença de certas
substâncias perigosas nos equipamentos eléctricos e
electrónicos pode ser prejudicável para o ambiente e
ter consequências potenciais sobre a saúde humana.
Se quiser deitar for o seu aparelho, ponha-o num cen-
tro de valorização dos detritos especialmente previsto
para este efeito (centro de reciclagem de recuperação
do lixo). Informe-se junto das entidades locais. A
colecta selectiva destes resíduos favorecerá a reutili-
zação, a reciclagem ou outras formas de valorização
dos materiais recicláveis nestes detritos.
2. Utilização do aquecimento
2-1. Acendimento do queimador com o sistema electróni-
co (fig.19)
- Se a lâmpada (Sun Force Advantage Deluxe) não estiver em
serviço, abrir a entrada do gás (torneira da garrafa (fig. 13-A)
ou o punho da válvula (fig. 13-B) e o armamento eventual).
- Abrir o gás girando o volante (21) no sentido de rotação anti-
horário até ao encosto.
- Premir o botão (B) da cassete de ignição e simultaneamente
enfiar o volante (21).
- Logo que houver ignição : largar o botão da cassete de igni-
ção mas continuar de manter o volante (21) pressionado
durante 15 segundos.
- Diminuir a pressão no volante : o aquecimento funciona ao
máximo.
- Se o queimador apagar : repetir a operação de ignição.
OBSERVAÇÃO:
- Após a primeira utilização, a grelha do queimador apresenta
um aspecto negro, o que é totalmente normal e não diminui
o seu desempenho.
2-2. Ignição manual do queimador (fig.19)
- Operar como está indicado no parágrafo acima, mas em vez
de premir o botão da cassete de ignição, colocar um fósforo
aceso (C) no nível superior da grade radiante.
- Logo que houver ignição retirar o fósforo.
2-3. Regulagem do aquecimento
- Para obter o funcionamento mínimo : girar o volante (21) no
sentido anti-horário até à posição capacidade reduzida.
2-4. Extinção
- Girar o volante (21) no sentido de rotação horário até o
encosto da posição
( ).
NOTA : O aparelho está equipado com duas seguranças
1)A " segurança de extinção " fecha automaticamente o fluxo
de gás ao queimador de aquecimento se este último apa-
gar-se acidentalmente.
2)A " segurança de oscilação " fecha automaticamente o fluxo
de gás de todo o aparelho se este estiver posicionado num
ângulo superior a 45° em relação à vertical ou se oscilar e
cair no chão.
3. Orientação da parábola (fig.20 - 21)
Para um maior conforto, a parábola (22) do aparelho pode ser
orientada de forma a enviar a radiação para a zona a aque-
cer.
Proteger o queimador da influência do vento virando o apa-
relho para que a parábola sirva de écran, principalmente
aquando da ignição.
3-1. Orientação da parábola (fig. 20 - 21)
- Não tocar na parábola (22) com as mãos nuas, porque pode
estar muito quente. Utilizar a pega (23) prevista para isso
puxando acima verticalmente de cima para baixo : parar na
posição desejada.
- Sempre utilizar a pega para mudar a orientação ou levar a
parábola em posição horizontal.
Nota : Não ultrapassar a posição horizontal levantando a
pega.
4. Desmontagem e troca da garrafa de gás
- Para a instalação ou a troca duma garrafa de gás, ope-
rar sempre no exterior, nunca perto de uma chama, fonte
de calor ou faísca (cigarro, aparelho eléctrico, etc.) e
longe de outras pessoas e de materiais inflamáveis.
- Verificar se a torneira ou o punho da válvula está em posição
fechada.
- Levantar a cobertura da garrafa de modo a soltá-la total-
mente e desengatar do grampo a cinta de segurança (M).

- Desacoplar a válvula da garrafa de gás.
- Retirar a garrafa de gás da base do aparelho.
- Colocar no lugar a nova garrafa de gás.
- Acoplar a válvula com a garrafa de gás (verificar a junta da
válvula).
- Colocar novamente a cinta de segurança e recolocar a
cobertura até baixo.
- Não obstruir os orifícios de ventilação do compartimento da
garrafa.
- Verificar o estado do tubo de flexível.
5. Colocação da camisa. (fig. 15) (modelo com lâm-
pada, Camisa : M)
- Levantar (A) o cavalete (17) e fazê-lo girar sobre ele mesmo
com um quarto de volta.
- Fazer deslisar a camisa (16) no queimador, o furo de maior
diâmetro para baixo ; introduzir bem o orifício da Camisa na
garganta (B) do queimador.
- Trazer o cavalete (17) na sua posição inicial e introduzir o ori-
fício superior da camisa na garganta (C) do cavalete.
5-1. Queima da camisa (fig.16) (operar no exterior):
- NÃO ABRIR O GÁS, acender uma chama (isqueiro ou fós-
foro) perto da camisa.
- Deixá-la se consumir inteiramente (passagem duma cor
preta com formação de fumo com cor branca : combustão
terminada).
- (A) Colocar o vidro (18) no lugar e (B) bloquear o chapéu (19)
no vidro.(fig. 17).
6. Utilização da lâmpada (fig. 18) (modelo com lâm-
pada)
Alguns conselhos suplementares :
ATENÇÃO : depois da primeira utilização a camisa torna-
se muito frágil. Evitar de tocá-la, pode quebrar-se.
- Não fazer funcionar a lâmpada com uma camisa que seja
rachada (risco de quebra do vidro). Trocá-la exclusiva-
mente por uma camisa especial Campingaz®.
- Retirar a camisa com defeito e soprar no queimador para
retirar as poeiras, depois operar como está indicado nos
parágrafos " Colocação no lugar da camisa" e " Queima
da camisa ".

6-1. Ignição da lâmpada com o sistema electrónico
- Se o queimador de aquecimento não estiver em serviço, abrir
a entrada do gás (torneira da garrafa ou punho da válvula e
armamento eventual).
- Abrir o gás girando o volante (20) no sentido de rotação anti-
horário, cerca de 1/4 de volta.
- Premir o botão (B) da cassete de ignição (14) até obter a
ignição depois soltar o botão.
- Se vários ensaios não derem resultado, verificar se o reser-
vatório contém gás.
6-2. Ignição manual da lâmpada
- Acender um fósforo (C) no nível da abertura entre o vidro e
o chapéu, depois abrir progressivamente o gás girando o
volante (20) no sentido de rotação anti-horário.
6-3. Regulagem da intensidade luminosa
- Pode regular a luminosidade da lâmpada girando lentamen-
te o volante (20).
6-4. Extinção
- Fechar a torneira girando o volante (20) a fundo no sentido
de rotação horário.
7. T
roca do vidro (modelo com lâmpada)
Sempre operar quando o aparelho não estiver em funcio-
namento.
- Retirar o chapéu (19) de cima do vidro (18).
- Eliminar o vidro quebrado tomando as precauções para não
se ferir com os cacos cortantes
- Colocar no lugar o novo vidro e engatar o chapéu por
cima.(fig. 17).

Ver o parágrafo " Colocação no lugar da camisa ".
9. Deslocação do aparelho (Sun Force Advantage
Deluxe / Sun Force Advantage Comfort)
Por razões de segurança, nunca deslocar o aparelho em
funcionamento.
- Desligar o aparelho conforme indicado no parágrafo 3-2-4 e
3-6-4 (modelo com lâmpada).
- Fechar a admissão de gás (torneira da garrafa (fig. 13A) e/ou
manete do regulador (fig. 13B))
- Verificar que a cinta de segurança está a bloquear totalmen-
te a garrafa de gás no respectivo encaixe.
- Inclinar o aparelho para trás para que este fique apoiado nas
rodas e deslocá-lo devagar. (fig. 25)
10. Manutenção
10-1. Mangueira entre as torneiras e o queimador de aque-
cimento
- Verificar uma vez por ano o bom estado desta mangueira
(que não tem data de validade). Para isso:
4desconectar a válvula da garrafa,
4retirar os volantes (20) e (21),
4orientar a parábola verticalmente,
4desaparafusar os 5 parafusos (25) - fig. 22 - e retirar a flange,
4a mangueira aparece (26) - fig. 23.
- Verificar se essa mangueira não apresenta qualquer defeito
de envelhecimento como fissuras, cortes ou queimaduras.
- Se a mangueira apresentar defeitos, entregar o aparelho ao
seu revendedor.
NÃO TROCAR A MANGUEIRA VOCÊ MESMO
- Se não houver anomalia, colocar a flange e fixá-la por meio
dos 5 parafusos (25).
10-2. Tubo flexível entre a válvula e a cabeça do aparelho
- Verificar mensalmente o estado do tubo flexível e substitui-lo
caso apresente sinais de envelhecimento ou se estiver gre-
tado
- O tubo flexível deve ser substituído por um tubo novo com o
mesmo comprimento e de qualidade equivalente.
- O tubo flexível ou o tubo rígido flexível devem ser substituí-
dos segundo a periodicidade acima indicada e conforme o
país.
- Efectuar os controlos de estanquecidade de acordo com § 4.
11. Armazenagem e anomalias de funcionamento
Depois de resfriamento completo do seu aparelho :
- Verificar se o gás está bem fechado a nível da garrafa de gás
(torneira da garrafa ou punho da válvula em posição fecha-
da).
- Armazenar o aparelho e a garrafa de gás num local fresco,
seco e arejado, fora do alcance das crianças. Não armaze-
nar nunca num subsolo ou numa cave. A garrafa de gás pro-
pano deve ser armazenada fora dos locais de habitação ou
das suas dependências.
- Para uma armazenagem prolongada do aparelho :
4retirar a garrafa do aparelho
4colocar a parábola em posição vertical e cobri-la com uma
capa, evitando a entrada de aranhas nos medidores de fluxo
(venturis) dos queimadores (as teias de aranhas provocam
longas chamas no queimador).
- Em caso de entupimento dos injectores, (a garrafa contém
ainda gás mas o aparelho não acende), não procure desin-
tupilos, entregue o aparelho ao seu revendedor.
12. Condições de aplicação da garantia
O produto tem uma garantia total das peças e mão-de-obra de
2 anos a partir da data de aquisição, com excepção das despe-
sas de envio do produto que serão da responsabilidade do
consumidor. A garantia aplica-se aos produtos que não são
entregues segundo a encomenda ou quando apresentam
defeitos, desde que sejam acompanhados de um documento
comprovativo da data de aquisição (ex: factura, talão de caixa).
O produto deve ser devolvido sem qualquer encargo, comple-
to e sem ter sido desmontado, num dos centros de assistência
após-venda autorizado, e a reclamação deve descrever o tipo
do problema encontrado. O produto objecto da reclamação
poderá ser reparado, substituído ou reembolsado, em todo ou
em parte. A garantia é nula ou não se aplica quando o dano
tenha tido a sua origem na (i) utilização ou armazenagem
incorrecta do produto, (ii) manutenção incorrecta do produto ou
manutenção diferente da indicada no manual do utilizador, (iii)
reparação, modificação, manutenção do produto efectuada por
terceiros não autorizados, (iv) utilização de peças de substitui-
ção que não sejam de origem.
NOTA : a utilização profissional deste produto está excluído da
garantia.

1) Alle Bauteile aus der Verpackung nehmen und anhand der beigefügten Bauzeichnungen kennzeichnen.
2) Gerät in der auf den Zeichnungen angegebenen Reihenfolge.
2 - Sicherheit
4 einem 15er Schlüssel zum Festhalten des
Schlauchanschlusses,
4 einem 17er Schlüssel zum Anziehen oder Losschrauben
der Schlauchmutter kräftig, jedoch nicht zu stark anziehen.
4. Dichtheitsprüfung
Gerät im Freien und in ausreichendem Abstand von brennba-
rem Material bzw. offenen Flammen aufstellen. Nicht rauchen.
Zur Suche nach undichten Stellen keine offene Flamme ver-
wenden.
4-1. Vor der Montage des Oberteils auf das Rohr (12).
- Sicherstellen, dass sich die Einstelldrehknöpfe in
Schließstellung befinden (auf (
) für die Heizung und die
Lampe).
- Den Schlauch am Gerät und am Druckminderer anschrau-
ben - jedoch ohne ihn dabei in das Röhre einzuführen.
- Den Druckminderer am Ventil der Gasflasche anschrauben,
das Ventil öffnen.
- Mit einem schäumenden Produkt (z. B. Seifenlauge) die Dichtheit
an den Anschlüssen Gasflasche/Druckminderer/Schlauch/Gerät
prüfen. Dabei die Gasreglerknöpfe des Geräts geschlossen las-
sen.
- Wenn sich Luftblasen bilden, liegt eine Undichtigkeit vor.
- Zu deren Beseitigung die Verschraubung stärker anziehen.
KEIN GERÄT BENUTZEN, WENN ES NICHT EINWAND-
FREI DICHT IST!
- Gaszufuhr schließen (Gashahn an der Flasche oder Hebel
am Druckminderer).
- Ist die Dichtheitsprüfung beendet, den Schlauch vom
Druckminderer abbauen.
- Den Schlauch in das Rohr einführen und den Kopf des
Gerätes am Rohr befestigen.
4-2. Nach der Montage des Oberteil auf das Rohr
Teleskoprohr
- Den Gasschlauch wieder am Druckminderer anschließen
und festschrauben.
- Gaszufuhr öffnen (Gashahn an der Flasche - Fig. 13A - oder
Hebel am Druckminderer - Fig. 13B und ggf. den
Auslöseknopf auf dem Druckminderer drücken (sofern vor-
handen - siehe Anleitung zum Druckminderer).
- Anschlüsse Flasche/Druckminderer/Schlauch mit einem
schaumbildenden (z. B. Seifenlauge) auf Dichtheit prüfen,
wobei sich die Gasreglerknöpfe in Schließstellung befinden
müssen.
- Eventuelle undichte Stellen, wie in 4.1 angegeben, beseiti-
gen. Das Gerät auf keinen Fall in Betrieb nehmen, solange
nicht alle Anschlüsse einwandfrei dicht sind.
- Gaszufuhr schließen (Gashahn an der Flasche oder Hebel
am Druckminderer).

1. Für Ihre eigene Sicherheit
- Vor Montage und Gebrauch des Gerätes die vorliegende
Anleitung aufmerksam durchlesen. Diese sorgsam aufbe-
wahren und bei Bedarf konsultieren.
- Der Gebrauch des Gerätes in geschlossenen Räumen kann
gefährlich sein und ist UNTERSAGT.
- Das Gerät muss nach den am Ort geltenden Gesetzen und
Vorschriften installiert werden, vor allem im Hinblick auf den
Einbau und Gebrauch in Einrichtungen mit
Publikumsverkehr.
- Application des Gaz lehnt bei fehlerhafter Installation oder
unsachgemäßem Gebrauch in Folge einer Nichtbeachtung
der speziellen Vorschriften für Einrichtungen/Betriebe mit
Publikumsverkehr jede Haftung ab.
- DAS GERÄT DARF NUR AN IM FREIEN ODER IN EINEM
GUT BELÜFTETEN RAUM VERWENDET WERDEN.
Ein Raum ist ausreichend belüftet, wenn mindestens 25 %
der Gesamtfläche offen stehen.
Unter der Gesamtfläche ist die Summe der Wandflächen zu
verstehen.
- In der Nähe des Gerätes kein Benzin oder sonstige brenn-
baren Flüssigkeiten oder Dämpfe lagern bzw. benutzen. In
einem Umkreis von 60 cm um das Gerät herum darf sich kein
brennbares Material befinden.
- Das Gerät auf einem waagrechten Untergrund verwenden
und während des Betriebs nicht verlagern (der
Neigungswinkel beträgt weniger als 10° - Abb. 24).
- Wir empfehlen den Einsatz von Propangas.
- Bei einer Temperatur unter 5 °C kein Butangas verwenden.
ACHTUNG: Bestimmte zugängliche Teile (Heizschirm-
Reflektor) können sehr heiß werden. Kleine Kinder fernhal-
ten.
- Starke Windstöße können das Gerät umwerfen. Daher bei
heftigem Wind besonders aufmerksam agieren.
- Bei Gasgeruch:
4 Die Gaszuleitung schließen (Gashahn der Flasche oder
Regler, falls absperrbar)
4 Etwaige Flammen löschen
4 Wenn der Geruch fortbesteht, den Regler von der Flasche
lösen, die Flasche ins Freie bringen und den Händler infor-
mieren, bei dem Sie die Flasche gekauft haben.
- Das Gerät muss vor dem erneuten Gebrauch untersucht
und ggf. repariert werden.
- Nach jedem Gebrauch die Gaszufuhr an der Flasche
und/oder am Regler, falls absperrbar, schließen.
2. Gasflasche
Das Gerät ist für den Betrieb mit 6 bis 15 kg Butan- oder
Propangasflaschen mit einem entsprechenden Regler konzi-
piert (Siehe S. 2,3 und 4 Gas und Betriebsdrücke).
Nur die vom Hersteller empfohlene Gas- und Flaschenart ver-
wenden.
Für einen optimalen Wirkungsgrad unter allen
Wetterbedingungen empfehlen wir vorzugsweise den Einsatz
von Propangas.
3. Gasschlauch
Schweiz, Deutschland, Österreich:
- Das Gerät besitzt einen Schlauchanschluss in Form einer
Normtülle, auf die ein entsprechender 1,25 m langer
Gasschlauch angeschraubt werden muss.
- Schlauchanschluss: Zum Anschließen des Schlauchs am
Gerät die Schlauchmutter mit 2 geeigneten Schlüsseln:
