Servicing is required when the

13. Do not overload wall outlets;

extension cords, or integral con-

14. To reduce the risk of electronic

shock, do not remove cover (or

back). No user-serviceable parts

inside. Refer servicing to quali-

fied service personnel.

expose this appliance to rain or

Safety notes regarding electricity

• When connecting the device,

make sure that the correct

voltage is present. You can find

more information in this respect

on the name plate.

• Check the device regularly for

damage.

Immediately disconnect the

power plug or power adapter

and do not operate the device

if its housing or power cable is

defective or exhibits other visible

damages.

• If the power cable of the device is

damaged, only have it replaced

by the manufacturer, its customer

service department or a person

with similar qualifications.

• The device is disconnected from

the grid by pulling the power

plug or power adapter. Thus,

make sure that the power socket

is always easily accessible.

• If the device emits smoke, smells

burnt or produces unusual

sounds, immediately disconnect

it from the grid and do not

operate it further.

• Never open the device housing.

Repairs may only be carried

out by an authorized specialist

workshop. In the process, only

parts that correspond to the

original device data may be

used.

• Only use the accessory products

specified by the manufacturer

such as power supply units, wall

brackets etc.

• Protect the device against

moisture. Only use it indoors, but

not in wet rooms. Exception: the

device is intended for outdoor

use (see chapter “Proper use” in

the instruction manual for the

device).

• Make sure that no vases or

other vessels filled with liquid

are located on the device or

nearby in order to prevent liquid

from penetrating the housing.

If water or other debris end

up penetrating the housing,

immediately pull the power plug

and take out any batteries.

• Never modify the device.

Unauthorized interventions

could affect the safety and

functionality.

• Never touch the power plug or

power adapter with wet hands.

Safety notes regarding the setup

location

• If the devices and speakers are

not securely mounted, do not

use them in vehicles, in unstable

locations, on wobbly tripods or

furniture, on underdimensioned

brackets etc. The devices or

speakers may tip or fall over and

cause injury to persons or be

damaged themselves.

• Place the speakers and devices

in such a way that they cannot be

knocked over inadvertently and

make sure that the cables do not

pose a trip hazard.

• If present, only use the

enclosed

base plate.

• Should you consider wall

mounting, make sure that this task

is done in a professional manner.

• In case of wall mounting verify

the carrying capacity of the

walls and make sure that there

are no cables or pipes in the

drilling areas. Before you drill,

use a metal detector to check

the applicable areas. Otherwise,

there is a risk of electric shock/

short-circuiting!

• Do not place speakers and

devices near sources of heat

(e.g. heaters, ovens, other heat

generating equipment such as

amplifiers etc.).

• Do not place open flames such

as burning candles or similar on

the device.

• Do not use electrical equipment

in potentially explosive

environments.

• An unstable base may cause

heavy devices to tip, which poses

a risk of serious injury or death,

especially for children. You

can prevent a large number of

accidents by taking the following

precautions:

– Place subwoofers and large

column speakers on the floor

only.

– If you want to use underframes

or speaker stands, only use

those recommended by the

manufacturer.

– When storing the product,

also ensure that it stands safely

and that it cannot be knocked

down or over.

Safety notes regarding the

protection of children

• Children can become trapped

in the packing film when playing

and suffocate.

Do not allow children to play with

the device and the packing film.

Danger of suffocation.

• Ensure that children do not

remove small parts from the

device or take them off of the

device (e.g. control knobs or plug

adapters). They could swallow

the parts and choke.

• Never let children use electrical

equipment unsupervised.

Safety notes regarding the

handling of devices using wireless

radio transmission

• Only use the wireless radio

transmission (e.g. Bluetooth) at

locations where this is allowed.

• If necessary, consult your physician

regarding the impacts on implants

such as pacemakers or defibrillators.

Safety notes regarding the volume

Extended listening at high volumes

may lead to hearing loss.

• To avoid damage to health,

avoid extended listening at high

volumes.

• When the volume is set high,

always keep a certain distance

from the device and never place

your ear directly on the speaker.

• If an audio system is set to

full volume, this may produce

very high sound pressure.

This may have psychological

consequences and also cause

physical injury. Children and pets

are particularly at risk. Set your

signal source device volume

control to a low setting before

turning on the power.

Handling Precautions for Batteries

Swallowing the product’s battery

may result in severe internal burns

in just 2 hours and can lead to

death.

• Store both new and used button

cell batteries so that they are not

accessible to children.

• If it is no longer possible to safely

close the battery compartment,

stop using the product and store

it so that it is not accessible for

children.

• If you suspect that a button cell

battery has been swallowed

or otherwise incorporated,

promptly consult a physician.

Leaking battery acid may lead to

chemical burns.

• Do not allow battery acid to

come into contact with skin, eyes

or mucus membranes. In the

event of contact with acid, imme-

diately flush the applicable areas

with plenty of clean water and

consult a physician if necessary.

Batteries (particularly lithium bat-

teries) can explode if used impro-

perly.

• Never attempt to recharge bat-

teries.

• Only use batteries of the same or

equivalent type.

• You may not heat or short circuit

batteries and rechargeable bat-

teries or dispose of them in fire.

• Do not expose batteries and re-

chargeable batteries to direct

sunlight.

Sicherheitshinweise zum

• Achten Sie beim Anschließen des

Gerätes darauf, dass die richtige

Spannung anliegt. Nähere

• Prüfen Sie das Gerät regelmäßig

auf Schäden.

Ziehen Sie sofort den

Netzstecker bzw. Netzadapter

und betreiben Sie das Gerät

nicht, wenn dessen Gehäuse

oder Netzkabel defekt ist oder

andere sichtbare Schäden

aufweist.

• Wenn das Netzkabel des Gerätes

beschädigt ist, lassen Sie es nur

durch den Hersteller, seinen

Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich

qualifizierte Person ersetzen.

• Die Trennung vom Netz erfolgt

durch Ziehen des Netzsteckers

bzw. Netzadapters. Sorgen

Sie deshalb dafür, dass die

Netzsteckdose jederzeit gut

zugänglich ist.

• Wenn das Gerät Rauch

entwickelt, verbrannt riecht oder

ungewohnte Geräusche von sich

gibt, trennen Sie es sofort vom

Netz, und nehmen Sie es nicht

mehr in Betrieb.

• Öffnen Sie niemals das Gehäuse

des Geräts.

Die Instandsetzung des Geräts

darf nur von einem autorisierten

Fachbetrieb vorgenommen

werden. Dabei dürfen

ausschließlich Teile verwendet

werden, die den ursprünglichen

Gerätedaten entsprechen.

spezifizierten Zubehörprodukte,

wie z.B. Netzteile,

• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor

Feuchtigkeit. Verwenden Sie

aber in Feuchträumen. Es sei

denn, es ist für den Outdoor-

Bereich vorgesehen (siehe

Kapitel "Bestimmungsgemäßer

• Achten Sie darauf, dass

• Fassen Sie den Netzstecker bzw.

den Netzadapter niemals mit

feuchten Händen an.

Sicherheitshinweise zum

Aufstellungsort

• Verwenden Sie Geräte und

Lautsprecher nicht unbefestigt

in Fahrzeugen, an labilen

Standorten, auf wackeligen

Stativen oder Möbeln,

an unterdimensionierten

Halterungen etc. Die Geräte

bzw. Lautsprecher könnten

um- oder herunterfallen und

Personenschäden verursachen

oder selbst beschädigt werden.

• Stellen Sie Lautsprecher und

Geräte so auf, dass sie nicht

unbeabsichtigt umgestoßen

werden können und die Kabel

keine Stolperfallen bilden.

• Falls vorhanden, verwenden Sie

nur die mitgelieferte Bodenplatte.

• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass eine

eventuelle Wandmontage

fachmännisch durchgeführt wird.

• Vergewissern Sie sich bei einer

Wandmontage der Tragfähigkeit

der Wände und stellen Sie

sicher, dass sich keine Kabel

oder Rohrleitungen in den

Bohrbereichen befinden. Prüfen

Sie die Bereiche vor dem Bohren

mit einem Metallsuchgerät. Es

besteht sonst Stromschlag- /

Kurzschlussgefahr!

• Stellen Sie Lautsprecher und

Geräte nicht in der Nähe

von Wärmequellen auf (z. B.

Heizkörper, Öfen, sonstige

wärmespendende Geräte, wie

Verstärker etc.).

• Stellen Sie keine offenen Brand-

quellen wie brennende Kerzen

oder Ähnliches auf das Gerät.

• Benutzen Sie elektrische Geräte

nicht in explosionsgefährdeter

Umgebung.

• Ein instabiler Untergrund kann

dazu führen, dass schwere

Geräte umkippen und dabei vor

allem Kinder erheblich verletzen

oder sie sogar erschlagen.

Viele Unfälle können Sie

vermeiden, wenn Sie folgende

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen treffen:

– Platzieren Sie Subwoofer und

große Standlautsprecher

ausschließlich auf dem

Fußboden.

– Falls Sie Untergestelle oder

Standfüße verwenden

möchten, verwenden Sie nur

solche, die vom Hersteller

empfohlen werden.

– Sorgen Sie auch bei Lagerung

des Artikels dafür, dass er

sicher steht und nicht herunter-

oder umgerissen werden kann.

Sicherheitshinweise zum Schutz

von Kindern

• Kinder können sich beim

Spielen in der Verpackungsfolie

verfangen und darin ersticken.

Lassen Sie Kinder nicht

mit dem Gerät und den

Verpackungsfolien spielen. Es

besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass Kinder

keine kleinen Teile aus dem Gerät

entnehmen oder vom Gerät

abziehen (z.B. Bedienknöpfe

oder Steckeradapter). Sie

könnten die Teile verschlucken

und daran ersticken.

• Lassen Sie Kinder niemals

unbeaufsichtigt elektrische

Geräte benutzen.

Sicherheitshinweise zum Umgang

mit Geräten, die mit drahtloser

Funkübertragung arbeiten

• Nutzen Sie drahtlose Funküber-

tragung (z.B. Bluetooth) nur an

Orten, wo dies gestattet ist.

• Erkundigen Sie sich ggf. bei Ih-

rem Arzt nach Auswirkungen auf

Implantate wie Herzschrittma-

cher oder Defibrilatoren.

Sicherheitshinweise zur

Lautstärke

Dauerhaftes Hören mit hoher

Lautstärke kann zu Gehörschäden

führen.

• Beugen Sie Gesundheitsschäden

vor und vermeiden Sie das Hören

bei großem Lautstärkepegel

über lange Zeiträume.

• Halten Sie bei hohen Lautstärken

immer einen gewissen Abstand

zum Gerät und nie Ihre Ohren

direkt an den Lautsprecher.

• Wenn ein Audiosystem auf

volle Lautstärke eingestellt ist,

kann ein sehr hoher Schalldruck

entstehen. Neben organischen

Schäden können dadurch

auch psychologische Folgen

auftreten. Besonders gefährdet

sind Kinder und Haustiere.

Stellen Sie den Lautstärkeregler

Ihres Signalquellgeräts vor dem

Einschalten auf einen niedrigen

Pegel ein.

Sicherheitshinweise zum Umgang

mit Batterien

Wenn die zum Artikel gehörende

Batterie verschluckt wird, kann dies

zu schweren innerlichen Verletzun-

gen und sogar zum Tode führen.

• Bewahren Sie sowohl neue als

auch gebrauchte Knopfzellen-

batterien für Kinder unzugäng-

lich auf.

• Wenn sich das Batteriefach nicht

mehr sicher verschließen lässt,

verwenden Sie den Artikel nicht

mehr und bewahren Sie ihn für

Kinder unzugänglich auf.

• Wenn Sie vermuten, dass eine

Knopfzellenbatterie verschluckt

oder auf andere Weise inkorpo-

riert wurde, suchen Sie umge-

hend einen Arzt auf.

Ausgelaufene Batteriesäure kann

zu Verätzungen führen.

• Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt von

Batteriesäure mit Haut, Augen

und Schleimhäuten. Spülen Sie

bei Kontakt mit der Säure die be-

troffenen Stellen sofort mit reich-

lich klarem Wasser und suchen

Sie ggf. einen Arzt auf.

Batterien (insbesondere Lithium-

batterien) können bei unsachgemä-

ßem Umgang explodieren.

• Versuchen Sie niemals, Batterien

zu laden.

• Setzen Sie nur Batterien dessel-

ben oder gleichwertigen Typs

ein.

• Batterien und Akkus dürfen Sie

nicht erhitzen, kurzschließen

oder durch Verbrennen beseiti-

gen.

• Setzen Sie Batterien und Akkus

nicht der direkten Sonne aus.

Las reparaciones solo pueden

especializado y autorizado. En

este caso, solo se pueden usar

piezas que correspondan a los

datos del dispositivo original.

• Emplee solo los accesorios

especificados por el fabricante,

como fuentes de alimentación,

soportes de pared, etc.

• En caso de montaje en la pared,

verifique la capacidad de carga

de las paredes y cerciórese de

que no haya cables ni tubos en

las áreas taladradas. Antes de

taladrar, emplee un detector

de metales para inspeccionar

las zonas pertinentes. ¡De lo

contrario, corre el riesgo de

descarga eléctrica / cortocircuito!

• No coloque los altavoces y

dispositivos cerca de fuentes

de calor (p. ej. estufas, hornos y

demás equipos generadores de

calor como amplificadores, etc.).

• No coloque ninguna fuente de

fuego, p. ej. velas encendidas, en

el aparato.

• No utilice equipos eléctricos

en entornos potencialmente

explosivos.

• Una base inestable puede

vulnerables. Fije el control del

volumen del dispositivo emisor

de señales a un nivel bajo antes

de encenderlo.

Indicaciones de seguridad sobre la

debido.

• Use solo pilas del mismo tipo o

análogas.

• No caliente, cortocircuite ni que-

me las pilas y baterías.

la luz solar directa.
