Ski & Snowboarding Helmet EH-1430

Important information

Before using your new helmet please take a moment to read the

following instructions for its use and care.

This helmet was developed for skiing and snowboarding and is

manufactured using state of the art processes. However, even the

highest safety standards do not exclude the possibility of injury

in a serious accident. The impact may be so great that the helmet

will not oﬀer its wearer eﬀective head protection. Conformity with

the demands of Appendix II of the European directive 89 / 686 /

European Economic Community (and later modiﬁcations) as well as

with those of the harmonising technical norm class EN1077:2007 B

was certiﬁed by the oﬃcials responsible at the TÜV Süd Product

Service GmbH, Ridlerstraße 65, 80339 München, Notiﬁed Body No

0123. A Class A helmet is a high performance protective helmet for

skiers and snowboarders. A Class B helmet is a helmet for skiers and

snowboarders for which the requirements are a little less restrictive.

A Class B helmet can thus oﬀer more air circulation and comfort,

without giving up too much protection. Class A and class B helmets are

for alpine skiers, snowboarders and similar groups. Class A helmets

oﬀer comparatively more protection Class B helmets can oﬀer more

ventilation and allow better hearing. However, they protect a smaller

area of the head and give a lower measure of protection.

This ski helmet is suitable for use with ski goggles.

Be sure the ski goggles accurately ﬁt into the helmet opening and

doesn’t press into the bridge of your nose when the helmet is tightly

closed.

Safety instructions

• The helmet must fit securely and the chin strap must be firmly closed.

• Do not push the helmet onto your neck,

as then your forehead is not protected.

• Do not wear any head covering under

the helmet.

• Ensure that the airflow inside the helmet is not restricted.

• Do not make any changes to the helmet, its structure, or the

individual components.

• Do not paint the helmet or put stickers or labels on it.

• The helmet is designed to absorb the energy of even a light

collision by destroying some of its components. Should another

collision occur, protection can therefore no longer be guaranteed.

After an accident, the helmet must be replaced even if no external

damage is visible.

• Do not use petroleum-containing solvents or detergents to clean

either the interior or exterior of your helmet. Use pH-neutral soap

diluted in clean water, and rub it into the helmet carefully using

a soft cloth. Wipe dry with a fluff-free cloth. The ear cushions can be

cleaned with a little soap and a soft brush. The visor should be

cleaned with soap and water only, and left to air-dry. Do not expose

the visor to sources of heat!

• Only use genuine spare parts for your helmet.

• Do not allow children to wear this helmet while climbing

or playing as this carries a risk of strangulation.

Ear buds/headphones

Please follow these safety precautions when using ear buds or

headphones:

Danger!

• Never use headphones or ear buds while skiing!

•During ascent or while waiting be sure to keep the volume at a

level that allows you to hear all ambient noise and announcements.

• Not observing announcements e.g. of the mountain rescue service

may result in a life threatening situation!

• Be sure the cables is not bothersome or protrudes from your body.

Risk of strangulation if wires get caught e.g. on the lift or other

skiers.

• You may be unable to hear warning signals from snow groomers

and not hear or be oblivious to other skiers on the run, and your

sense of balance could be impaired.

Adjusting the chin strap

The overall length of the chin strap is adjusted with loop. The length

of the chin strap can also be adjusted with the strap distributor clip.

Be sure the strap distributor is not bothersome. We recommend posi-

tioning it at the end of the ear pad.

Function of the rotary wheel

(Headband width adjustment)

With the inﬁnitely variable rotary wheel you can adjust the helmet

to the size of your head in order to guarantee an optimum helmet

ﬁt. Push the rotary wheel in the direction of the top of the helmet to

adjust the width (ﬁg. 2).

(Headband height adjustment)

The height of the headband system can be individually adjusted.

There are 3 diﬀerent height settings.

Pull the headband system connection pin out of the EPS shell locking

points (ﬁg. 3). You can now set the headband system connection pin

in one of the two other height position locking points. Press the pin

into the locking point ﬁrmly so that you can hear and feel it click into

place.

Servicing and maintenance

Regular servicing and maintenance contributes to the safety and

preservation of the helmet.

• Always use pH-neutral soap diluted in clear water, and rub

carefully with a soft cloth. Afterwards wipe dry with a fluff-free cloth.

• The cushion can be cleaned with a little soap and a soft brush.

Ear cushions

• Hand wash below 30 °C.

• Allow to dry at room temperature.

Storage

When not in use, store the helmet in a dry and well ventilated place

at room temperature. Avoid sources of heat.

Disposal instructions

Dispose of the product and all its components through a licensed

disposal company or your municipal disposal facilities.

Please observe the current regulations. If in doubt, consult your

disposal facility about an environmentally friendly disposal.

Suggestions for purchase

• Choose your helmet by measuring the circumference of your head

with a ﬂexible tape measure. Always try on a couple of diﬀerent

sizes before buying. When wearing the helmet, the skin of your

temples should move with it.

• Make sure that the helmet does not move around too much when

the chin strap is open.

• The chin strap must ﬁt securely. It should sit comfortably under the

chin, as far back towards the neck as possible. Fasten it as tight as

possible. It is correctly ﬁtted when you ﬁnd it diﬃcult to insert your

ﬁnger between the chinstrap and neck, yet are still able to breathe

and swallow easily. Make sure that the helmet does not restrict

your movements, e.g. when turning your head to look behind you.

3 Years Warranty

The product was manufactured with the greatest care and regular

testing. This product comes with a 3-year warranty as of the date of

purchase. Please keep the receipt. The warranty only covers material

and production errors and will not cover improper or inappropriate

handling. Your legal rights, in particular statutory rights are not

restricted with this warranty. In the event of a warranty matter, please

contact us free of charge via our Service-Hotline or send us an

email. In any case, we will be more than happy to provide you with

personal advice. In the event of a warranty matter, defect parts can

be shipped cash on delivery to the indicated service-address in coor-

dination with our service-colleagues. Subsequently you will promptly

receive a new or repaired part free of charge. The warranty period

will not be extended due to any repairs based on warranty, statutory

guarantee or fair dealing. This also applies to replaced and repaired

parts. Any repairs required after the warranty has expired are

chargeable.

Przed pierwszym użyciem kasku należy dokładnie przeczytać

następujące informacje oraz wskazówki. Niniejszy kask opracowano

do jazdy na nartach i snowboardu i wyprodukowano według

najnowszego stanu techniku. Mimo najwyższego standartu

bezpieczeństwa może dojść do urazów podczas ciężkich wypadków.

W niektórych przypadkach uderzenie może być tak mocne, że

kask nie ochroni skutecznie przed urazami głowy. Zgodność z wymo-

gami według załącznika II Wytycznych Europejskich 89/686/EWG

(i późniejszych modyﬁkacji) jak również ze zgodną z nimi Normą

Techniczną EN1077:2007 klasa B została potwierdzona przez

wystawiającą instancję TÜV Süd Product Service GmbH, Ridlerstraße

65, 80339 München, Notiﬁed Body No 0123. Kask klasy A jest

kaskiem ochronnym dla narciarzy i snowboardzistów na najwyższym

poziomie. Kask klasy B jest kaskiem dla narciarzy i snowboardzistów,

których wymagania są nieco mniejsze. Dlatego kask klasy B oferuje

większą cyrkulację powietrza i wyższy komfort, nie ryzygnując z

ochrony. Kaski klasy A i klasy B służą narciarzom alpińskim, snow-

boarderom i podobnym grupom.

Kaski klasy A oferują stosunkowo więcej ochrony. Kaski klasy B

oferują lepszą cyrkulację powietrza i lepszą słyszalność, chronią

jednak mniejszą część głowy i są mniej odporne na przenikanie.

Ten kask narciarski przeznaczony jest do użytku z goglami narciarski-

mi.

Należy zwrócić uwagę, aby gogle narciarskie dokładnie pasowały

do wycięcia kasku i nie uciskały nasady nosa po zamknięciu kasku.

Wskzówki bezpieczeństwa

• Kask musi być dobrze dopasowany i sznurki muszą być zamknięte

pod brodą.

• Nie przechylać kasku do tyłu, w innym

przypadku nie jest chroni one czoło.

• Nie nosić pod kaskiem nakryć głowy.

• Należy upewnić się, czy cyrkulacja powietrza nie jest ograniczona.

• Nie wolno dokonywać żadnych zmian na kasku, w jego strukturze

ani w jego poszczególnych częściach.

• Kasku nie wolno malować, nie wolno na niego naklejać nalepek lub

etykietek.

• Kask chroni głowę w razie upadku. Już tylko po jednym (także

lekkim) uderzeniu, ochrona głowy nie jest gwarantowana.

Po wypadku kask należy wymienić, nawet jeśli nie widać na nim

żadnych widocznych uszkodzeń.

• Kasku nie wolno czyścić środkami zawierającymi naftę, rozpusz

czalniki lub środki żrące, ani z zewnątrz, ani od środka.

Należy zawsze używać delikatnych środków czyszczących,

rozpuszczonych w wodzie, o neutralnym ph i miękkiej ściereczki.

Kask należy wysuszyć suchą ściereczką. Poduszki należy czyścić

miękką szczoteczką z małą ilością mydła.

• Należy stosować jedynie oryginalne części zamienne.

• Kaski nie powinny byc noszone przez dzieci przy wspinaniu sie lub

innych zabawach, przy których istnieje mozliwosc uduszenia!

Słuchawki

Przy zastosowaniu słuchawek należy przestrzegać następujących

wskazówek bezpieczeństwa:

Uwaga niebezpieczeństwo utraty życia!

• Słuchawek nie używać nigdy podczas jazdy na nartach!

• Podczas wjazdu na górę lub oczekiwania, głośność ustawić

jedynie tak, aby móc słyszeć odgłosy otoczenia i komunikaty.

• Przy nieprzestrzeganiu ogłoszeń np. pogotowia górskiego istnieje

niebezpieczeństwo utraty życia!

• Należy zwrócić uwagę, aby kabel słuchawek nie przeszkadzał

i nie odstawał. Istnieje niebezpieczeństwo „uduszenia“ np. gdy

zawiśnie się na windzie lub zaczepi się o innego narciarza.

• Sygnały ostrzegawcze ratraka i innych narciarzy na trasie mogą

zostać nie dosłyszane i nie zarejestrowane, zmysł równowagi

może zostać naruszony.

Ustawianie paska pod brodą

Całkowitą długość paska można ustawiać szlufką. Przy pomocy

klipsa rozdzielacza paska można również ustawiać długość paska.

Należy zwrócić uwagę, aby rozdzielacz paska nie przeszkadzał.

Zalecamy pozycję na końcu wyściełania ucha.

Funkcja pokrętła

(Pasek przy głowie-regulacja szerokości)

Za pomocą pokrętła można dopasować kask do obwodu głowy,

aby zapewnić optymalne jego dopasowanie. Pokrętło należy

przycisną w kierunku szczytu kasku, aby ustawić szerokość (rys. 2).

Wysokość systemu paska przy głowie może zostać indywidualnie

ustawiona. Możliwe są 3 różne regulacje wysokości.

Należy wycisnąć bolce łączeniowe systemu paska przy głowie z

punktów zaskokowych skorupy EPS (rys. 3). Bolce systemu paska

przy głowie mogą ponownie zostać zamocowane w punktach zas-

kokowych dwóch innych pozycji wysokości. Bolce należy tak mocno

nacisnąć przy punktach zaskokowych, aż będzie słychać i czuć jak

zaskoczą.

Konserwacja i pielęgnacja

Regularna konserwacja i pielęgnacja służy do zachowania i

utrzymania bezpieczeństwa kasku.

• Należy używać środek czyszczący rozpuszczony w wodzie o

neutralnym ph i miękkiej ściereczki. Następnie należy wysuszyć

kask suchą ściereczką.

• Poduszki należy czyścić miękką szczoteczką z małą ilością mydła.

Poduszka przy uchu

• Pranie ręczne poniżej 30 °C.

• Suszyć w temperaturze pokojowej.

Przechowywanie

Kask należy przechowywać w suchym, dobrze wietrzonym

pomieszczeniu w temperaturze pokojowej. Unikać źródeł ciepła.

Wskazówki dotyczące wyrzucania

Produkt oraz jego części należy wyrzucać w dopuszczonych

miejscach lub przez komunalne instytucje wyrzucania śmieci.

Należy zwrócić uwagę na aktualne przepisy. W razie wątpliwości

należy poinformować się w instytucjach wyrzucania śmieci o

usuwaniu, które jest zgodne z ochroną środowiska.

Pomoc przy zakupie

• Należy zmierzyć obwód głowy i wybrać dokładny rozmiar kasku.

• Należy przymierzyć kilka kasków, przed podjęciem decyzji.

Przy ubranym kasku możliwe jest poruszanie skóry skroni.

• Należy upewnić się, że kask dobrze pasuje i nie jest luźny nawet

przy nie zapiętych sznureczkach pod prodą.

W celu bezpiecznego korzystania z kasku należy zawsze zapinać

sznureczki pod brodą. Sznureczki są wtedy dobrze zapięte, jeżeli

trudne jest włożenie palców między sznureczki a brodę.

Możliwe musi być jednak wygodne oddychanie, połykanie i

obracanie głowy.

3 lata gwarancji

Produkt został wyprodukowany z dużą starannością i pod ciągłą

kontrolą. Otrzymują Państwo na ten produkt 3 lata gwarancji od

daty zakupu. Prosimy o zachowanie paragonu.

Gwarancja obowiązuje jedynie w razie wad materiałowych i

fabrycznych, przy nieodpowiedniej obsłudze przepada. Państwa

ustawowe prawa, w szczególności prawa do gwarancji, nie

zostaną ograniczone tą gwarancją. W razie gwarancji należy się

z nami skontaktować telefonicznie przez bezpłatny numer naszej

Service-Hotline lub mailowo. W każdym przypadku otrzymają

Państwo osobistą pomoc. W przypadku gwarancji można wysyłać

int készült. A legmagasabb biztonsági szabvány ellenére előfordulhat,

hogy súlyos baleseteknél mégis sérülések történnek. Egyes esetekben

az ütközés olyan erős lehet, hogy a sisak nem védi hatékonyan a

Egy A osztályú sisak egy nagy teljesítményű védősisak síelőknek és

snowboardozóknak. Egy B osztályú sisak egy olyan sisak a síelőknek

és snowboardozóknak, amelynél az előírások valamivel kevésbé

korlátozóak. Így egy B osztályú sisak több szellőzést és kényelmet

biztosíthat anélkül, hogy a védelem jelentősen csökkenne.

a bukósisak kivágásába és ne az orra tövét nyomja, amikor

Ön szorosan lekötötte a sisakot.

Biztonsági tudnivalók

• A sisak stabilan illeszkedjen és az állpánt szorosan zárva legyen.

• Ne tolja a sisakot a tarkóra, mert ebben

az esetben a homloka nem védett.

• Ne hordjon fejfedőt a sisak alatt.

• Bizonyosodjon meg róla, hogy a levegőkeringés ne korlátozódjon.

• A sisakon, annak szerkezetén vagy egyes elemein való változtatás

nem megengedett.

• A sisakot befesteni, arra matricákat vagy etiketteket ragasztani nem

szabad.

• A sisak feladata, hogy ütközés esetén védje a fejet. Csak egyetlen

(akár enyhe) ütközés után ez a védelem nem garantált. Ezért egy

baleset után a sisakot azonnal fel kell újítani akkor is, ha semmilyen

sérülés nem látszik rajta.

• A sisak tisztításához soha nem szabad petróleumtartalmú oldatot

vagy súrolószert használni, sem kívül, sem belül. Használjon

mindig pH-semleges mosószert tiszta vízben oldva, egy puha

kendővel óvatosan dörzsölje át a sisakot. Ezután törölje szárazra

egy nem bolyhozó kendővel. A párnázás kevés szappannal és

puha kefével tisztítható.

• Csak eredeti cserealkatrészeket használjon sisakjához.

• Gyermekek nem használhatják a sisakot a mászókán vagy más

játék közben, ahol fulladásveszély áll fenn!

Fülhallgató/fejhallgató

Fül-vagy fejhallgató használatánál tartsa be az alábbi biztonsági

utasításokat:

Vigyázat, életveszély!

• Síelés közben sohase használja a fejhallgatót vagy

fülhallgatót!

• Hegynek fel vagy várakozási idők alatt a hangerőt mindig úgy

állítsa be, hogy az összes környyezeti zajt és bemondást meg tudja

hallani.

• A hegyi rendőrök bemondásainak be nem tartásából életveszély is

keletkezhet!

• Ügyeljen arra, hogy a fejhallgató kábelét ne törje meg és az ne

álljon el a testétől. Megfojthatja, ha pl. Ön fennakad a liften vagy

más síelőkön.

• A pályafelvonók és más síelők ﬁgyelmeztető jeleit félrehallhatja

vagy nem veszi ﬁgyelembe, sőt, az egyensúlyérzékét is

hátrányosan befolyásolhatja.
