• Always ensure that the laser light is not directed at reflective surfaces.
A reflective surface could reflect such a laser beam towards the
operator, or towards third parties.
• Do not allow children to operate this appliance. Do not allow
children in the work area during set-up and use of the appliance.
• Do not store the laser in direct sunlight or in a place with high
temperatures. The casing and some components are constructed of
plastic and exposure to temperature can cause degradation of the
material.
• Store unused equipment in a dry place out of the reach of children.
• If storing for a long time, remove the battery to prevent possible
damage.
• Do not replace the laser unit with another type. All repairs should be
carried out by the manufacturer's service department.
ATTENTION: The device is designed for indoor operation.
Despite the use of an inherently safe design, the use of safety measures
and additional protective measures, there is always a residual risk of
injury during work.
Li-Ion batteries can leak, catch fire or explode if they are heated to high
temperatures or short-circuited. Do not store them in the car during hot
and sunny days. Do not open the battery pack. Li-Ion batteries contain
electronic safety devices which, if damaged, can cause the battery to
catch fire or explode.
BATTERY WARNINGS
• Batteries or cells should not be opened, disassembled or destroyed.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. Short-circuiting the battery
terminals can lead to a fire.
• The battery should be protected from heat sources, fire and direct
sunlight.
• Keep the battery away from children.
• If a leak develops in the battery, stop using the battery immediately.
• If electrolyte comes into contact with the skin or eyes, flush the area
with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
• Do not leave the battery connected to the charger for longer than the
charging time.
• The battery must not be allowed to discharge completely. If the
equipment is not used for a long period of time, the battery sub-
assembly should be recharged from time to time. A completely
discharged battery can be a source of leakage.
• A used or defective battery must be disposed of distinguishing
between the technology of manufacture (electrochemical systems).
• The battery must not be disposed of in the municipal waste bin.
PURPOSE
The machine is designed for the precise determination of horizontal and
vertical lines. It is equipped with a horizontal laser and two vertical lasers
to mark three 360° planes, intersecting at 90°. The unit also has a laser
lock function, making it possible to trace straight lines at any angle.
During operation, act strictly in accordance with the following instructions
to ensure the best possible performance of the unit.
Applications other than those described below are not permitted and may
lead to damage to the product.
EXPLANATION OF THE PICTOGRAMS USED
1. Caution laser radiation!
2. Caution laser radiation - do not look into the beam.
3. Read the Operating Instructions and observe the warnings
and safety conditions contained therein.
4. Selective collection.
5. The product will be recycled or dismantled
DESCRIPTION OF THE GRAPHIC PAGES
The following numbering refers to the components of the appliance as
shown on the graphic pages of this manual:

ACCESSORIES
1. Tripod
2. Cover
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The plane laser is supplied with a partially charged battery. It is
recommended that the first charge lasts for 5 hours. The battery should
be charged in conditions where the ambient temperature is 4°C-40°C.
• To unlock the battery cover (5), gently pull the cover latch.
• Under the cover, there is a battery with an external charger
connection socket (6).
• Insert the plug of the charger cable into the charger connection
socket.
• Plug the charger into a 230V AC mains socket.
• Once the battery is charged, close the cover so that the cover latch
locks into place.
The battery should not be charged for more than 8 hours. Exceeding
this time may cause damage to the battery cells.
Batteries become very hot during the charging process. Do not start
work immediately after charging, wait until the battery has reached
room temperature. This will prevent damage to the battery.
BATTERY CHARGE STATUS INDICATION
The plane laser is equipped with a battery status indicator light.
• A green light indicates that the battery charge is high.
• An LED glowing red indicates a low battery charge.
The "Pulse" function changes the frequency of the laser beam and is
recommended for use when working in sunlight. Depending on the
external conditions (light intensity, colour and smoothness of the surface
on which the laser is used), switching this function on or off may improve
the visibility of the laser indications.
OPERATION OF THE MAGNETIC CHUCK
• Attach the plane laser to the magnetic mount by screwing the
threaded ferrule (2) into the tripod thread on the laser base using the
knob (1).
• The knob (1) allows the laser to be positioned: right - left.
• The knob (3) allows the laser to be adjusted: up - down.
• Magnets (4) allow the holder to be attached to metal surfaces.
• The handle is equipped with ¼" (5) and 3/8" (6) tripod threads.
LASER OPERATION - SELF-LEVELLING FUNCTION
The laser is equipped with a self-levelling function. This function works
within a range of ±4° of laser deflection.
• Switch on the laser by moving the self-levelling lock switch (1) to the
"unlocked" position.
• If the laser is set at an angle which does not allow the self-levelling
function to operate (greater than 4°), this will be indicated by an
intermittent acoustic signal, blinking of the laser and the battery status
LED.
• Set up the laser so that it does not signal misalignment, only then will
it be possible to mark the horizontal line and the vertical lines.
• By pressing the change of function button (2), it is possible to change
the display of the horizontal line, vertical line I, vertical line II, two or
three lines simultaneously.
• It is possible to increase the visibility of the line using the "Pulse"
function. To activate this function, press the button (3).
• To switch off the laser, move the self-levelling lock switch (1) to the
"locked" position.
LASER OPERATION - LASER LOCK FUNCTION
The laser lock function allows straight lines to be drawn at any angle.
• Leave the locking switch (1) in the "locked" position.
• When the "Pulse" button (3) is pressed, the laser will start.
• By pressing the "Pulse" button (3) again, it is possible to change the
display of the horizontal line, vertical line I, vertical line II, two lines at
the same time and to switch off the unit.
