Nimm eventuelle Folien, Aufkleber oder Transportschutz vom Produkt ab. Entferne

niemals das Typenschild und eventuelle Warnhinweise!

L Zum Auﬂaden an der Steckdose wird zusätzlich ein USB-Netzadapter

BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄßER GEBRAUCH

■Dieses Produkt ist zur Beleuchtung von kleineren Flächen vorgesehen.

■Für den privaten Gebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung bestimmt.

■Nutze das Produkt nur für den angegebenen Zweck und wie in der Gebrauchs-

anleitung beschrieben. Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als bestimmungswidrig.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

■Halte das Verpackungsmaterial von Kindern und Tieren fern. Es besteht

Erstickungsgefahr.

■Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug und gehört nicht in Kinderhände. Lasse junge

Kinder mit dem Produkt nicht unbeaufsichtigt.

■Tauche das Produkt nicht in Wasser! Benutze es nicht, wenn Flüssigkeit

eingedrungen ist und lasse es vor erneuter Inbetriebnahme in einer Fachwerk-

statt überprüfen.

■Sollte das Produkt ins Wasser fallen während es an die Steckdose angeschlossen

ist, ziehe sofort den USB-Netzadapter aus der Steckdose! Hole erst danach das

Produkt aus dem Wasser heraus.

■Das Produkt mit eingebautem Akku darf nicht auseinandergenommen, ins Feuer

geworfen oder hohen Temperaturen über +40 °C ausgesetzt werden. Bringe es

nicht in der Nähe der Brenner und nicht am Seitentisch mit einem Brenner an.

Schütze es vor langanhaltender direkter Sonneneinstrahlung. Stelle keine schwe-

ren Gegenstände auf das Produkt. Der Akku könnte sich entzünden.

■Decke das Produkt während des Ladens nicht ab, um eine Überhitzung zu

vermeiden.

■Halte als Träger eines empﬁndlichen medizinischen Implantates (z. B. eines

Herzschritt machers) genügend Abstand zum Magnet in der Halterung bzw.

warne Träger solcher Implantate vor der Annäherung an den Magneten. Dieser

könnten die Funktion des Implantates beeinträchtigen.

■Halte die Halterung von allen Gegenständen (z. B. elektronischen Geräten, ma-

gnetischen Datenträgern, mechanischen Uhren) fern, die durch ein Magnetfeld

beschädigt werden könnten.

■Möchtest du das Produkt per Post verschicken, platziere es in der Mitte eines

möglichst großen Kartons. Das Magnetfeld könnte ansonsten Störungen an

Sortiergeräten und empﬁndlichen Gütern in anderen Paketen verursachen.

■Schaue niemals direkt in die Lichtquelle! Richte den Lichtstrahl nie direkt auf

andere Personen oder Tiere. Es besteht Blendgefahr!

■Trenne das Produkt von der Stromquelle, wenn während des Ladens ein Fehler

auftritt oder vor einem Gewitter.

■Schalte das Produkt bei Schäden / Störungen sofort aus. Benutze es nicht, wenn

es beschädigt ist.

■Nimm keine Veränderungen am Produkt vor. Es darf nur durch den Hersteller,

Kundenservice oder eine ähnlich qualiﬁzierte Person (z. B. Fachwerkstatt)

auseinandergenommen und / oder repariert werden, um Gefährdungen zu

vermeiden.

■Vorsicht: Die im Produkt enthaltene Lichtquelle darf nur vom Hersteller, seinem

Servicemitarbeiter oder einer ähnlichen qualiﬁzierten Person ersetzt werden.

■Sollte der Akku ausgelaufen sein, vermeide den Kontakt von Haut, Augen und

Schleimhäuten mit der Batteriesäure. Bei Kontakt mit Batteriesäure spüle die

betroffenen Stellen sofort mit klarem Wasser und nimm umgehend medizini-

sche Hilfe in Anspruch.

■Schütze das Produkt vor: Stößen, Minus temperaturen und Feuchtigkeit.

■Verwende nur Original-Zubehörteile des Herstellers.

AKKU AUFLADEN

■BEACHTE! Lade das Produkt nicht afn einem Computer auf, da dieser aufgrund

des hohen Ladestroms beschädigt werden könnte.

Lade den Akku vor dem ersten Gebrauch vollständig auf, damit er die volle Kapazi-

tät erreicht.

Zeigt die Akkustandanzeige(10) einen leeren Akku an (Das Display(7) muss ein-

geschaltet sein.) oder lässt sich die Leuchte nicht mehr einschalten, muss der Akku

geladen werden.

Lade den Akku vorzugsweise über einen USB-Netz adapter (5 V und ≥1000 mA;

nicht im Lieferumfang) an einer Steckdose.

1. Ziehe die Kappe der USB-Buchse(4) heraus.

2. Schließe das USB-Kabel an die USB-Buchse und an eine Stromquelle an,

idealerweise über einen USB-Netzadapter an eine Steckdose. Der Ladevorgang

beginnt. Dabei blinken beide Symbole der Akkustandanzeige.

3. Wenn die Akkustandanzeige einen vollen Akku anzeigt, trenne die Leuchte von

der Stromquelle und dem USB-Kabel.

4. Stecke die Kappe auf die USB-Buchse.

BENUTZUNG

1. Falls nicht bereits geschehen, stecke die Leuchte in die Halterung(2).

2. Lege die Halterung um den Griff des Grills und schließe sie mithilfe des Mag-

nets(1) (BildB). Du kannst den Magnet auch an einer anderen Stelle des Grills

anbringen. Jedoch nicht in der Nähe der Brenner!

3. Drücke die Ein-/Aus-Taste (5), um die LEDs(6) ein- und auszuschalten.

Timer

1. Aktiviere das Display(7) mit der Taste / (11).

2. Stelle durch wiederholtes Drücken der Timer-Tasten(8) eine Zeit ein. Für einen

Schnelldurchlauf halte die Taste gedrückt.

3. Starte den Timer mit der Taste / .

Der Timer gibt nach Ablauf der eingestellten Zeit einen Signalton aus.

• Möchtest du den Timer vorzeitig stoppen, drücke die Taste / erneut.

• Um den Timer auf 0 zurückzusetzen, halte gleichzeitig die Tasten + H und + M

gedrückt.

L Das Display schaltet sich nach einiger Zeit automatisch aus.

REINIGUNG / AUFBEWAHRUNG

• Schalte das Produkt vor dem Reinigen aus. Trenne es ggf. von der Steckdose.

• Verwende keine scharfen oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel! Wische das

Produkt bei Bedarf mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.

• Lagere das Produkt bei Temperaturen zwischen 0 und 40 °C in geschlossenen

Räumen außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und Tieren.

Entsorge das Verpackungsmaterial umweltgerecht und führe es der Wert-

stoffsammlung zu.

Das nebenstehende Symbol (durchgestrichene Mülltonne mit Unterstrich)

bedeutet, dass Altgeräte nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in spezielle Sam-

mel- und Rückgabesysteme gehören.

INTENDED USE

■This product is intended to be used to light up smaller areas.

■It is designed exclusively for personal and not for commercial use.

■Use it only for the speciﬁed purpose and as described in the operating instruc-

tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

SAFETY NOTICES

■Keep the packaging material away from children and animals. There is a danger

of suffocation.

■The product is not a toy and should be kept away from children. Do not leave

young children unsupervised with the product.

■Do not immerse the product in water! Do not use it if liquid has got inside it

and have it checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.

■If the product falls into water while it is connected to the plug socket, pull the

USB mains adapter out of the plug socket immediately! Only after this should

you retrieve the product from the water.

■The product with a built-in battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a ﬁre

sunlight. Do not place any heavy objects on the product. The battery could ignite.

■Do not cover the product during charging to prevent overheating.

■If you are ﬁtted with a sensitive medical implant (e.g. a pacemaker), stay a

sucient distance away from the magnet in the holder or warn people who are

ﬁtted with such implants against approaching the magnet. This might adversely

affect the way the implant works.

■Keep the holder away from all objects (e.g. electronic devices, magnetic data

carriers, mechanical watches) which could be damaged by a magnetic ﬁeld.

■If you want to send the product by post, place it in the middle of a large box if

possible. Otherwise the magnetic ﬁeld could interfere with sorting equipment

and sensitive goods in other packages.

■Never look directly into the light source! Never point the cone of light directly at

other people or animals. There is a risk of glare!

■Disconnect the product from the power source if an error occurs during charging

or before a thunderstorm.

■In the event of damage / faults, switch the product off immediately. Do not use

it if it is damaged.

■Do not make any modiﬁcations to the product. It may only be taken apart and /

or repaired by the manufacturer, customer service department or a similarly

qualiﬁed person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.

■Caution: The light source contained in this product may only be replaced by the

manufacturer, his service representative or a similarly qualiﬁed person.

■If the battery leaks, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to

come into contact with the battery acid. If you do touch battery acid, rinse

the affected areas with clear water straight away and seek medical assistance

immediately.

■Protect the product from: impacts, sub-zero temperatures and moisture.

■Use only original accessories from the manufacturer.

CHARGING UP THE BATTERY

■PLEASE NOTE! Do not charge up the product on a computer because the com-

puter might be damaged by the high charging current.

Charge up the battery fully before you ﬁrst use the product so that it reaches full

capacity.

If the battery status indicator(10) indicates an empty battery (The display(7) must

be switched on.) or if the light can no longer be switched on, the battery needs to be

charged.

The battery should preferably be charged via a USB mains adapter (5 V and

≥1000 mA; not supplied with the product) connected to a plug socket.

2. Connect the USB cable to the USB socket and to a power source, ideally via a

USB mains adapter to a plug socket. The charging process begins. Both symbols

of the battery status indicator will ﬂash.

3. When the battery status indicator shows a full battery, disconnect the light from

the power source and the USB cable.

4. Plug the cap onto the USB socket.

USE

1. If you have not already done so, place the light in the holder(2).

2. Place the holder around the handle of the barbecue and close it using the

magnet(1) (PictureB). You can also attach the magnet to another part of the

barbecue. But not close to the burners!

3. Press the On/Off button (5) to switch the LEDs(6) on and off.

Timer

1. Activate the display(7) with the button / (11).

2. Set a time by repeatedly pressing the timer buttons(8). To scroll through the

values quickly, hold down the button.

3. Start the timer with the button / .

Once the set time has elapsed, the timer emits a beep.

• If you want to stop the timer prematurely, press the button / again.

• To reset the timer to 0, hold down the buttons + H and + M simultaneously.

L The display switches off automatically after some time.

The adjacent symbol (crossed-out bin underlined) means that used devices

should not be disposed of in the domestic waste, but should instead be

taken to special collection and return systems.

Owners of used devices must remove from the used device any used

batteries or rechargeable batteries which are not encapsulated by the used

device and can be removed in a non-destructive way and dispose of them

separately (see also the section on battery disposal).

Owners of used devices from private households can take them free of

charge to the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities or

the disposal points which are set up by manufacturers and distributors

under the Electrical Equipment Act. Businesses which market electrical and

electronic devices are also obliged to take back used devices.
