Safety Instructions
Hazard!
Ensure that no liquid gets into the scale or into the
display. This can cause an electrical shock hazard!
Do not allow individuals (including children) to use
the appliance whose physical, sensorial or mental
abilities or lack of experience and knowledge hin-
der their safe usage of it if they have not previously
been supervised or instructed in its correct usage.
Tell children about the appliance and its potential
dangers so that they do not play with it.
Warning!
Do not place the scale in the direct vicinity of heat
sources. Scale and display may only be operated
at temperatures between 10° and 40°C. At higher
or lower temperatures malfunctions or permanent
damage can occur.
Do not charge the scale with weight in excess of
180 kg / 396 lb! This can irreparably damage the
scale
Caution!
Old batteries can leak battery acid. In the event of
the batteries leaking acids, wear protective gloves.
Clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
Remove the batteries if you will not be using the sca-
le for a longer period of time.
Please note!
Avoid electrostatic charging and discharging. Elec-
trostatic charging or discharging can cause incor-
rect displays or suddenly switch-off the scale.

Purpose
These digital glass scale is exclusively intended
as personal scale
for use in private households
Included in delivery
Digital glass scale
2 x CR2032 / 3V lithium batteries
Operating instructions
Before using the appliance for the first time, check
to ensure that the contents are complete and
undamaged.
Commissioning
1. Remove the cover of the battery compartment.
Remove the insulation strip from the battery com-
partment and insert the batteries back into the
battery compartment with the correct polarity.
2. Place the cover back on the battery compart-
ment and press it down until you hear it snap
into place.
3. Set the desired unit of weight (kg or lb) by
pressing the selector switch.

Place your glass scale on a flat, solid surface.
Please ensure that both the floor where the
weigh scales are set up and the surface of the
weigh scales are not wet to ensure that
nobody slips.
Please note!
The glass scale contains sensitive electronic compo-
nents and must therefore not be installed
close to heat sources
in environments that are exposed to extreme
humidity
Use
Attention: Never burden the scales one-sidedly. Al-
ways step onto the scales in the middle and with
both feet. If you do not, the digital glass scale could
tip to one side and be irreparably damaged.
Additionally, there is the risk of falling over!
1. Tap your foot lightly on the centre of the scale
until “HI” appears on the LCD display.
2. Stand with both feet on the scale once “0.0”
appears on the LCD display. Stand calmly and
without shifting your weight.
3. During weighing, the “kg/lb” LCD display flas-
hes and the displayed value rises until your
weight has been determined.
4. The “kg/lb” display now stops flashing and your
weight is displayed in grades of 0.1 kg/0.2 lb.
Attention: never jump on to the scale as this may
cause damage.
Warning Displays
“0_Ld” appears in the LCD display if the weight ex-
ceeds the maximum weighing capacity of 180
kg/396 lb. Step off the scale immediately as you
may otherwise cause damage.
Replace the batteries if “Lo” appears in the display.
The scale is unable to measure the weight if “Err”
appears in the display. Step off the scale in this
case, wait for a few seconds and then try again.
Make sure you stand calmly and do not interrupt
the weighing process.

Replacing the Batteries
1. Remove the lid on the battery compartment.
2. Remove the old batteries from the battery
compartment. Insert two new batteries of type
CR2032 into the battery compartment. Be sure
to orient the batteries with the correct polarity.
3. Place the cover back on the battery compart-
ment and press it down until you hear it snap
into place.
Use and Storage
Please take note that the measurement results of
different scales may differ slightly.
Avoid using the batteries unnecessarily. Therefo-
re, do not store any items on the scale if it is not
being used. Remove the batteries if you will not
use the scale for a longer period.
Keep the scale in a clean and dry environment.
Avoid electrostatic charging.
Your glass scale represent a sensitive electronic
instrument. As such, high-frequency devices may
sometimes cause disturbance when used in the
immediate vicinity (e.g. mobile telephones, CB
radio stations, remote controls and microwave
ovens).
If there are faults such as irregular or faulty displays
in the LCD display, remove the scale from the source
of disturbance or deactivate the source of disturban-
ce when you are using the product.

Cleaning
Only use neutral detergent and a soft cloth to clean
the glass scale.
Troubleshooting
Do not attempt to dismantle the scale to repair any
defects yourself. You may otherwise damage the
sensitive electronic components.
Only qualified service personnel are authorised to
repair the glass scale!
No liability will be accepted for damage resulting
from improper use and/or opening of the
appliance!
In the event of faulty operation or if the display is in-
correct, please check the following conditions:
Are the batteries positioned within the battery
compartment with the correct polarity?
Is the selector switch (kg/lb) set to the correct
position?
Perform a reset on the scale:
To do this, remove the batteries from the battery
compartment.
Wait a few seconds, then insert the batteries
back into the battery compartment.
If these measures do not correct the problem, plea-
se contact the appropriate service partner for your
country.
Disposal
Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the European guideline
2002/96/EC.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved dis-
posal centre or at your community waste facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal
centre.
Battery disposal!
Batteries may not be disposed of with normal
domestic waste. All consumers are statutorily obli-
ged to dispose of batteries at the collection point in
their community/district or with the original supplier.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that
batteries can be disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner. Only dispose of batteries when
they are fully discharged.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from
the date of purchase. The appliance has been
manu-factured with care and meticulously examined
before delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof
of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please
make contact by telephone with our service depart-
ment. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for
your goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and
maufacturing defects, not for wearing parts or for
damage to fragile components. This product is for
private use only and is not intended for commercial
use.
The warranty is void in the case of abusive and im-
proper handling, use of force and internal tampe-
ring not carried out by our authorized service
branch. Your statutory rights are not restricted in
any way by this warranty.

Naley uwaa, aby do wagi oraz do wywietlacza nie
dostaa si adna ciecz. Stwarza to zagroenie porae-
nia prdem elektrycznym!
Nie zezwalaj na użytkowanie tostera przez
osoby (w tym dzieci) upośledzone umysłowo
lub fizycznie lub nie posiadające odpowiedniej
wiedzy i doświadczenia w bezpiecznym użytkowa-
niu urządzeń, bądź jeśli nie zostały one
uprzednio odpowiednio poinstrowane lub
przeszkolone. Poinformuj dzieci o zagrożeniach
związanych z użytkowaniem urządzenia i nie poz-
wól dzieciom bawić się urządzeniem.

1. Zdejmij pokrywę komory na baterie. Wyciągnij
ze środka na zewnątrz tasiemkę izolacyjną, a
następnie zwracając uwagę na położenie bie-
gunów włóż baterie do komory.
2. Załóż ponownie pokrywę komory dociśnij ją, aż
do zatrzaśnięcia.
3. Za pomocą przełącznika ustaw wybraną jed-
nostkę miary (kg lub lb).
Szklan wag cyfrow naley ustawi na paskim, sta-
bilnym podou. Naley zwróci uwag na to, aby
zarówno podoga w miejscu ustawienia wagi jak
i powierzchnia wagi nie byy wilgotne – istnieje
niebezpieczestwo polizgnicia si!
Wskazówka!
Szklana waga cyfrowa zawiera wraliwe podze-
spoy elektroniczne i nie naley jej ustawia:
w pobliu róde ciepa
w pomieszczeniach bardzo wilgotnych
Uytkowanie
Uwaga: Nigdy nie stawaj na wadze tylko z jednej
strony. Stawaj zawsze pośrodku dwiema nogami.
W przeciwnym razie waga mogłaby przechylić się
w bok i ulec trwałemu uszkodzeniu. Poza tym grozi-
łoby to upadkiem z wagi!

no pojawi si wskazanie „HI”.
2. Po ukazaniu si na wywietlaczu „o.o”, naley stan
obiema stopami na wadze. Naley sta w miar

3. Podczas procesu waenia miga wskazanie „kg”
/ „lb” na wywietlaczu i wskazywana warto
wzrasta do momentu pomiaru ciaru ciaa.
4. Wskazanie „kg”/”lb” nie miga i ciar ciaa wska-
zywany jest na wywietlaczu z dokadnoci do 0.1
kg / 0.2 funta.
Uwaga: Nie naley pod adnym pozorem skaka na
wag, poniewa grozi to jej uszkodzeniem.
Wskazania ostrzegawcze
Jeli ciar przekroczy maksymaln nono wagi wynoszc
180 kg / 396 funtów, na wywietlaczu pojawia si
„0_Ld”. Naley wówczas natychmiast zej z wagi,

Wymiana baterii

Naley pamita o tym, e pomiary rónych wag
mog w niewielkim stopniu róni si od siebie.
Naley unika niepotrzebnego zuycia baterii. Nie

Czyszczenie
Szklan wag naley czyci tylko i wycznie obojtnymi
rodkami do czyszczenia, przy pomocy mikkiej
ciereczki.
Awarie
Nie naley próbowa rozmontowywa wagi lub na-
prawia jej samodzielnie w przypadku awarii. Grozi
to uszkodzeniem wraliwych podzespoów elektro-
nicznych.
Naprawy szklanej wagi mog wykonywane tylko
przez wykwalifikowany personel serwisowy!
Za szkody powstae w wyniku niewaciwego uytko-
wania i / lub otworzenia urzdzenia nie przejmuje-
my odpowied-zialnoci.
W przypadku błędu lub niewłaściwego wskazania
na wyświetlaczu sprawdź następujące możliwe
przyczyny:
Baterie zostały założone niezgodnie z roz-
mieszczeniem biegunów?
Przełącznik jednostki miary (kg/lb) znajduje się
w niewłaściwym położeniu?
Skasuj ustawienia wagi:
W tym celu wyjmij ze środka baterie.
Odczekaj kilka sekund i włóż ponownie baterie
do środka.
Jeśli te działania nie pomogą w usunięciu błędu,
zwróć się o pomoc do odpowiedniego punktu ser-
wisowego.
Utylizacja
Urządzenia nie należy wyrzucać wraz
z normalnymi odpadami domowymi.
Niniejszy produkt podlega działaniom,
przewidziamyn w przepisach dyrekty-
wy europejskiej 2002/96/EC.
Urządzenie należy usuwać w akredytowanych za-
kładach utylizacji odpadów lub komunalnych zakła-
dach utylizacji odpadów.
Należy przestrzegać aktualnie obowiązujących
przepisów. W razie pytań i wątpliwości odnośnie
zasad utylizacji należy skontaktować się z najbliżs-

Usuwanie akumulatorów
Akumulatorów nie można wyrzucać do śmieci wraz
z pozostałymi odpadami domowymi. Każdy użyt-
kownik jest ustawowo zobowiązany do
składowania zużytych akumulatorów / baterii w
odpowiednich punktach zbiórki, wyznaczanych
przez władze miasta lub oddawania ich do punktu
handlowego.
Ten przepis ma na celu ochronę środowiska natural-
nego przed niekontrolowanym usuwaniem szkodli-
wych odpadów, jakimi są zużyte akumulatory i
baterie.
Należy zwracać wyłącznie całkowicie
rozładowane akumulatory / baterie.
Materiał opakowaniowy należy przekazy-
wać do utylizacji zgodnie z przepisami o
ochronie środowiska.

Gwarancja i serwis
Urządzenie objęte jest trzyletnią gwarancją, licząc
od daty zakupu. Urządzenie zostało starannie
wyprodukowane i poddane skrupulatnej kontroli
przed wysyłką. Paragon należy zachować jako
dowód dokonania zakupu. W przypadku roszczeń
gwarancyjnych należy skontaktować się telefoni-
cznie z serwisem. Tylko w ten sposób można zag-
warantować bezpłatną wysyłkę zakupionego
produktu.
Gwarancja obejmuje wyłącznie wady materiałowe
i fabryczne, natomiast nie obejmuje części
ulegających zużyciu ani uszkodzeń części łatwo
łamliwych, np. wyłącznika lub akumulatorów. Urzą-
dzenie jest przeznaczone wyłącznie do użytkowa-
