Safety information
Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully read the
supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible if an
incorrect installation and use causes injuries and damages.
Always keep the instructions with the appliance for future
reference.
Children and vulnerable people safety
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Do not let children play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Keep all packaging away from children.
General Safety
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
– Farm houses; staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments
– By clients in hotels, motels, bed and breakfast and other
residential type environments
• Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the
built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate
the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage
compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type

• Do not use water spray and steam to clean the appliance.
• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral
detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning
pads, solvents or metal objects.
• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a
flammable propellant in this appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its Authorised Service Centre or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Safety instructions
Installation
WARNING!
Only a qualified person must install
this appliance.
• Remove all the packaging.
• Do not install or use a damaged appliance.
• Obey the installation instruction supplied
with the appliance.
• Always be careful when you move the
appliance because it is heavy. Always wear
safety gloves.
• Make sure the air can circulate around the
appliance.
• Wait at least 4 hours before connecting the
appliance to the power supply. This is to
allow the oil to flow back in the compressor.
• Do not install the appliance close to
radiators or cookers, oven or hobs.
• The rear of the appliance must stand against
the wall.
• Do not install the appliance where there is
direct sunlight.
• Do not install this appliance in areas that are
too humid or too colds, such as the
construction appendices, garages or wine
cellars.
• When you move the appliance, lift it by the
front edge to avoid scratching the floor.
Electrical connection
WARNING!
Risk of fire and electrical shock.
• The appliance must be earthed.
• Make sure that the electrical information on
the rating plate agrees with the power
supply. If not, contact an electrician.
• Always use a correctly installed shockproof
socket.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters and
extension cables.
• Make sure not to cause damage to the
electrical components (e.g. mains plug,
mains cable, compressor). Contact the
Authorised Service Centre or an electrician
to change the electrical components.
• The mains cable must stay below the level of
the mains plug.
• Connect the mains plug to the mains socket
only at the end of the installation. Make sure
that there is access to the mains plug after
the installation.
• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect
the appliance. Always pull the mains plug.

Use
WARNING!
Risk of injury, burns, electrical shock
or fire.
• Do not change the specification of this
appliance.
• Do not put electrical appliances (e.g. ice
cream makers) in the appliance unless they
are stated applicable by the manufacturer.
• Be careful not to cause damage to the
refrigerant circuit. It contains isobutane
(R600a), a natural gas with a high level of
environmental compatibility. This gas is
flammable.
• If damage occurs to the refrigerant circuit,
make sure that there are no flames and
sources of ignition in the room. Ventilate the
room.
• Do not let hot items to touch the plastic
parts of the appliance.
• Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the
appliance.
• Do not put flammable products or items that
are wet with flammable products in, near or
on the appliance.
• Do not touch the compressor or the
condenser. They are hot.
Internal light
• The type of lamp used for this appliance is
not suitable for household room illumination
Care and cleaning
WARNING!
Risk of injury or damage to the
appliance.
• Before maintenance, deactivate the
appliance and disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket.
• This appliance contains hydrocarbons in the
cooling unit. Only a qualified person must do
the maintenance and the recharging of the
unit.
• Regularly examine the drain of the appliance
and if necessary, clean it. If the drain is
blocked, defrosted water collects in the
bottom of the appliance.
Disposal
WARNING!
Risk of injury or suffocation.
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply.
• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.
• Remove the door to prevent children and
pets to be closed inside of the appliance.
• The refrigerant circuit and the insulation
materials of this appliance are ozone-friendly.
• The insulation foam contains flammable gas.
Contact your municipal authority for
information on how to discard the appliance
correctly.
• Do not cause damage to the part of the
cooling unit that is near the heat exchanger.

Operation
Switching on
1. Connect the mains plug to the mains
socket.
2. Turn the Temperature regulator clockwise
to a medium setting.
Switching off
To turn off the appliance, turn the Temperature
regulator to the "O" position.
Temperature regulation
The temperature is automatically regulated.
1. Turn the Temperature regulator toward
lower settings to obtain the minimum
coldness.
2. Turn the Temperature regulator toward
higher settings to obtain the maximum
coldness.

A medium setting is generally the
most suitable. However, the exact
setting should be chosen keeping in
mind that the temperature inside the
appliance depends on:
• room temperature
• how often the door is opened
• the quantity of food stored
• the location of the appliance.
If the ambient temperature is high or
the appliance is fully loaded, and the
appliance is set to the lowest
temperatures, it may run
continuously causing frost to form
on the rear wall. In this case the
regulator knob must be set to a
higher temperature to allow
automatic defrosting and therefore
reduced energy consumption.
Daily use
WARNING!

Initial power on
CAUTION!
Before inserting the power plug in to
the outlet and switching on the
cabinet for the first time, leave the
appliance standing upright for at
least 4 hours. This will assure a
sufficient amount of time for the oil
to return to the compressor.
Otherwise the compressor or
electronic components may sustain
damage.
Movable shelves
The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a
series of runners so that the shelves can be
positioned as desired.
Positioning the door shelves
To permit storage of food packages of various
sizes, the door shelves can be placed at
different heights.
Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the
arrows until it comes free, then reposition as
required.

Hints and tips
Normal operating sounds
The following sounds are normal during
operation:
• A faint gurgling and bubbling sound from
coils sound when refrigerant is pumped.
• A whirring and pulsating sound from the
compressor when refrigerant is pumped.
• A sudden cracking noise from inside
appliance caused by thermic dilatation (a
natural and not dangerous physical
phenomenon).

• A faint click noise from the temperature
regulator when the compressor switches on
or off.
Hints for energy saving
• Do not open the door frequently or leave it
open longer than absolutely necessary.
Hints for fresh food refrigeration
To obtain the best performance:
• do not store warm food or evaporating
liquids in the refrigerator
• do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it
has a strong flavour
• position food so that air can circulate freely
around it
Hints for refrigeration
Useful hints:
• Meat (all types) : wrap in polythene bags and
place on the glass shelf above the vegetable
drawer.
• For safety, store in this way only one or two
days at the most.
• Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc..: these
should be covered and may be placed on
any shelf.
• Fruit and vegetables: these should be
thoroughly cleaned and placed in the special
drawer(s) provided.
• Butter and cheese: these should be placed
in special airtight containers or wrapped in
aluminium foil or polythene bags to exclude
as much air as possible.
• Bottles: these need a cap and should be
stored on the door bottle shelf, or (if
equipped) on the bottle rack.
• Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not
packed, must not be kept in the refrigerator.
Care and cleaning

Periodic cleaning
The equipment has to be cleaned regularly:
• clean the inside and accessories with
lukewarm water and some neutral soap.
• regularly check the door seals and wipe
clean to ensure they are clean and free from
debris.
• rinse and dry thoroughly.
Do not pull, move or damage any
pipes and/or cables inside the
cabinet.
Never use detergents, abrasive
powders, highly perfumed cleaning
products or wax polishes to clean
the interior as this will damage the
surface and leave a strong odour.
Clean the condenser (black grill) and the
compressor at the back of the appliance with a
brush. This operation will improve the
performance of the appliance and save
electricity consumption.
The lowest shelf, dividing the cooler
compartment from the 0°C compartment can be
removed only for cleaning. To remove it pull out
the shelf straight. The cover plates above the
drawers in the compartment can be taken out
for cleaning.
To ensure the best performance of
the 0°C compartment the lowest
shelf and cover plates must be put
back in their original position after
cleaning.
Take care of not to damage the
cooling system. When moving the
cabinet, lift it by the front edge to
avoid scratching the floor.
Defrosting of the refrigerator
Frost is automatically eliminated from the
evaporator of the refrigerator compartment
every time the motor compressor stops, during
normal use. The defrost water drains out
through a trough into a special container at the
back of the appliance, over the motor
compressor, where it evaporates.
It is important to periodically clean the defrost
water drain hole in the middle of the refrigerator
compartment channel to prevent the water
overflowing and dripping onto the food inside.

Periods of non-operation
When the appliance is not in use for long
periods, take the following precautions:
1. Disconnect the appliance from electricity
supply.
2. Remove all food.
3. Defrost (if necessary) and clean the
appliance and all accessories.
4. Clean the appliance and all accessories.
5. Leave the door/doors open to prevent
unpleasant smells.
WARNING!
If the cabinet will be kept on, ask
somebody to check it once in a
while to prevent the food inside from
spoiling in case of a power failure.
Troubleshooting

gaskets. Contact the Authorised Service
Centre.

Replacing the lamp
1. Disconnect the appliance.
2. Push the movable part to unhook the lamp
cover (1).
3. Remove the lamp cover (2).
4. If needed replace the lamp with a light of
similar characteristic and power. It is
suggested to use Osram PARATHOM
SPECIAL T26 0.8 Watts.
5. Install the lamp cover.
6. Connect the appliance.
7. Open the door. Make sure that the lamp
comes on.

Positioning
This appliance can be installed in a dry, well
ventilated indoor where the ambient
temperature corresponds to the climate class
indicated on the rating plate of the appliance:

Some functional problems might
occur for some types of models
when operating outside of that
range. The correct operation can
only be guaranteed within the
specified temperature range. If you
have any doubts regarding where to
install the appliance, please turn to
the vendor, to our customer service
or to the nearest Authorised Service
Centre.
Location
CAUTION!
It must be possible to disconnect
the appliance from the mains power
supply; the plug must therefore be
easily accessible after installation.
The appliance should be installed well away
from sources of heat such as radiators, boilers,
direct sunlight etc. Ensure that air can circulate
freely around the back of the cabinet. To ensure
best performance, if the appliance is positioned
below an overhanging wall unit, the minimum
distance between the top of the cabinet and the
wall unit must be at least 100 mm . Ideally,
however, the appliance should not be
positioned below overhanging wall units.
Accurate levelling is ensured by one or more
adjustable feet at the base of the cabinet.

Electrical connection
• Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage
and frequency shown on the rating plate
correspond to your domestic power supply.
• The appliance must be earthed. The power
supply cable plug is provided with a contact
for this purpose. If the domestic power
supply socket is not earthed, connect the

appliance to a separate earth in compliance
with current regulations, consulting a
qualified electrician.
• The manufacturer declines all responsibility if
the above safety precautions are not
observed.
• This appliance complies with the E.E.C.
Directives.
Levelling
When placing the appliance ensure that it
stands level. This can be achieved by two
adjustable feet at the bottom in front.
Rear spacers
You can find the two spacers in the bag with
documentation.
1. Release the screw.
2. Engage the spacer below the screw.
3. Turn the spacer to the right position.
4. Tighten again the screws.

Door reversibility
WARNING!
Before carrying out any operations,
remove the plug from the power
socket.
CAUTION!
To carry out the following
operations, we suggest that this be
made with another person that will
keep a firm hold on the doors of the
appliance during the operations.
Before carrying out any operation,
please be sure that the appliance is
empty. If not, please move all goods
into right temperature for proper
food storage reason.
1. Tilt back the appliance carefully so that the
compressor cannot touch the floor.
2. Remove the plinth (1).
3. Remove the cap (2) and position it on the
opposite side.
4. Unscrew the pins (3) and remove the
washers.

CAUTION!
Reposition, level the appliance, wait
for at least four hours and then
connect it to the power socket.
Do a final check to make sure that:
• All screws are tightened.
• The magnetic seal adheres to the
cabinet.
• The door opens and closes
correctly.
If the ambient temperature is cold
(i.e. in Winter), the gasket may not fit
perfectly to the cabinet. In that case,
wait for the natural fitting of the
gasket.
In case you do not want to carry out
the above mentioned operations,
contact the nearest Authorised
Service Centre. The Authorised
Service specialist will carry out the
reversibility of the doors at your cost.

Üzembe helyezés
VIGYÁZAT!
A készüléket csak képesített
személy helyezheti üzembe.
• Távolítsa el az összes csomagolóanyagot
• Ne helyezzen üzembe, és ne is használjon
sérült készüléket.
• Tartsa be a készülékhez mellékelt üzembe
helyezési útmutatóban foglaltakat.

• Gondoskodjon arról, hogy keringeni tudjon
a levegő a készülék körül.
• Várjon legalább 4 órát, mielőtt

hálózathoz. Ez azért szükséges, hogy az
olaj visszafolyhasson a kompresszorba.
• Ne helyezze üzembe a készüléket

Elektromos csatlakoztatás
VIGYÁZAT!
Tűz- és áramütésveszély.
• A készüléket kötelező földelni.
• Ellenőrizze, hogy az adattáblán szereplő
elektromos adatok megfelelnek-e a
háztartási hálózati áram paramétereinek.
Amennyiben nem, forduljon szakképzett
villanyszerelőhöz.
• Mindig megfelelően felszerelt, áramütés
ellen védett aljzatot használjon.
• Ne használjon hálózati elosztókat és
hosszabbító kábeleket.
• Ügyeljen az elektromos alkatrészek (pl.
hálózati csatlakozódugasz, hálózati kábel,
kompresszor) épségére. Ha az elektromos
alkatrészek cserére szorulnak, forduljon a
hivatalos márkaszervizhez vagy
elektromos szakemberhez.
• A hálózati kábelnek a hálózati aljzat szintje
alatt kell elhelyezkednie.
• Csak az üzembe helyezés befejezése után
csatlakoztassa a hálózati csatlakozódugót
a hálózati csatlakozóaljzatba. Ügyeljen
arra, hogy a hálózati dugasz üzembe
helyezés után is könnyen elérhető legyen.

• A készülék csatlakozásának bontására,
soha ne a hálózati kábelnél fogva húzza ki
a csatlakozódugót. A kábelt mindig a
csatlakozódugónál fogva húzza ki.
Használat
VIGYÁZAT!
Sérülés-, égés-, áramütés- és
tűzveszély.
• Ne változtassa meg a készülék műszaki
jellemzőit.
• Ne helyezzen más elektromos készüléket
(például fagylaltkészítő gépet) a készülék
belsejében, hacsak ezt a gyártó
kifejezetten nem javasolja.
• Ügyeljen arra, hogy ne sértse meg a
hűtőkör alkatrészeit. A hűtőkör igen
környezetbarát földgázt, izobutánt (R600a)
tartalmaz. Ez a gáz gyúlékony.
• Amennyiben a hűtőkör megsérül,
tartózkodjon mindennemű nyílt láng és
gyújtószikra használatától. Szellőztesse ki
a helyiséget.
• Ügyeljen arra, hogy forró tárggyal ne érjen
a készülék műanyag részeihez.
• Ne tároljon gyúlékony gázt vagy folyadékot
a készülékben.
• Ne tegyen gyúlékony anyagot vagy
gyúlékony anyaggal szennyezett tárgyat a
készülékbe, annak közelébe, illetve annak
tetejére.
• Ne érintse meg a készülék kompresszorát
és kondenzátorát. Ezek üzem közben
forróvá válnak.
Belső világítás
• A készülékben levő lámpatípus nem
alkalmas helyiségek megvilágítására
Ápolás és tisztítás
VIGYÁZAT!
Személyi sérülés vagy a készülék
károsodásának veszélye áll fenn.
• Karbantartás előtt kapcsolja ki a
készüléket, és húzza ki a hálózati
csatlakozódugót a csatlakozóaljzatból.
• A készülék hűtőegysége szénhidrogén

A hőmérséklet beállítása
A hőmérséklet szabályozása automatikusan
történik.
1. A minimális hűtés érdekében forgassa a
hőmérséklet-szabályozót az alacsonyabb
beállítások felé.
2. A maximális hűtés érdekében forgassa a
hőmérséklet-szabályozót a magasabb
beállítások felé.

Általában a közepes beállítás a
legmegfelelőbb. A pontos beállítás
kiválasztásakor azonban szem
előtt kell tartani, hogy a készülék
belsejében levő hőmérséklet a
következő tényezőktől is függ:
• szobahőmérséklet
• az ajtónyitások gyakorisága
• a tárolt élelmiszer mennyisége
• a készülék elhelyezése.
Ha a környezeti hőmérséklet
magas, vagy a készülék a
maximális határig meg van
terhelve, a hűtőtér hőmérsékletét
pedig a legalacsonyabb értékre
állították be, előfordulhat, hogy
folyamatosan hűt, s emiatt dér
képződik a belső falán. Ebben az
esetben a szabályozógombot a
legmagasabb hőmérsékleti értékre
kell állítani az automatikus
jégmentesítés elindításához, ezzel
pedig csökkentett
energiafogyasztást lehet elérni.

Első bekapcsolás
FIGYELMEZTETÉS!
A készülék dugvillájának a hálózati
aljzathoz csatlakoztatása és a
hűtőszekrény első bekapcsolása
előtt legalább négy órát várjon a
készülék függőleges helyzetbe
állított állapotában. Ezzel elegendő
időt biztosít az olajnak arra, hogy
visszatérjen a kompresszorba.
Ellenkező esetben a kompresszor
vagy az elektronikus alkatrészek
folyamatosan károsodhatnak.
Mozgatható polcok
A hűtőszekrény falai több sor polctartó sínnel
vannak ellátva, hogy a polcokat tetszés
szerinti helyre lehessen tenni.
Az ajtó polcainak elhelyezése
Ha eltérő méretű élelmiszercsomagok
számára szeretne helyet biztosítani, az
ajtópolcokat különböző magasságokba
állíthatja.
Fokozatosan húzza a polcot a nyilakkal jelölt
irányba, amíg ki nem szabadul, majd szükség
szerint tegye új helyre.

Hasznos tanácsok és javaslatok
Normális működéssel járó hangok:
Az alábbi hangok normális jelenségnek
tekinthetők üzemelés közben:
• Gyenge gurgulázó és bugyborékoló hang
a csőkígyókból a hűtőközeg áramlása
közben.
• Zümmögő vagy pulzáló hang hallható a
kompresszor felől a hűtőközeg
áramoltatása során.
• Hirtelen recsegő zaj hallható a készülék
belseje felől, melyet a hőtágulás okoz (ez
természetes és nem veszélyes fizikai
jelenség).
• Gyenge kattanó zaj hallható a
hőmérséklet-szabályozóból a kompresszor
be- vagy kikapcsolásakor.
Energiatakarékossági tanácsok
• Ne nyitogassa gyakran az ajtót, illetve ne
hagyja a feltétlenül szükségesnél tovább
nyitva.
Ötletek friss élelmiszerek hűtéséhez
A legjobb teljesítmény elérése érdekében:
• ne tároljon meleg ételt vagy párolgó
folyadékot a hűtőszekrényben
• takarja le vagy csomagolja be az
élelmiszereket, különösen ha
valamelyiknek erős az aromája
• úgy helyezze be az ételeket, hogy a
levegő szabadon körbe tudja járni azokat
Ötletek a hűtőszekrény használatához
Hasznos tanácsok:
• Hús (minden fajtája): csomagolja
nejlonzacskóba és helyezze a zöldséges
fiók feletti üveglapra.
• Biztonsági okokból ne tárolja egy vagy két
napnál hosszabb ideig ily módon a húst.
• Készételek, hidegtálak stb.: ezeket le kell
takarni, majd bármelyik polcon
elhelyezhetők.
• Gyümölcsök és zöldségek: alaposan meg
kell őket tisztítani és számukra külön
biztosított fiók(ok)ban elhelyezni.
• Vaj és sajt: speciális légmentes
tartóedényekbe kell helyezni, vagy
alufóliába vagy nejlonzacskókba
csomagolni őket, és a lehető legtöbb
levegőt kiszorítani körülöttük.
• Palackok: legyen kupakjuk, és tárolja őket
vagy az ajtó palacktartó rekeszében vagy
(ha van) a palacktartó állványon.
• Ha a banán, krumpli, hagyma vagy
fokhagyma nincs becsomagolva, tilos őket
a hűtőszekrényben tartani.

Rendszeres tisztítás
A készüléket rendszeresen tisztítani kell:
• a készülék belsejét és a tartozékokat
semleges, szappanos, langyos vízzel
tisztítsa.
• rendszeresen ellenőrizze az
ajtótömítéseket, és törölje tisztára, hogy
biztosítsa azok tisztaságát és
szennyeződésmentességét.
• gondosan öblítse le, majd alaposan
szárítsa ki.
Ne húzza meg, ne mozgassa és
ne sértse meg a készülékházban
lévő csöveket és/vagy kábeleket.
Soha ne használjon mosószert,
súrolószert, erősen illatosított
tisztítószereket vagy viaszt a belső
felület tisztítására, mert ezek
károsítják a felületet és erőteljes
illatot hagynak maguk után.
Tisztítsa meg a kondenzátort (fekete rács), és
a készülék hátulján lévő kompresszort egy
kefével. Ezzel a művelettel javíthatja a
készülék teljesítményét, és csökkentheti az
áramfogyasztást.
A legalsó polc, mely elválasztja a hűtőteret a
0 °C-os rekesztől, tisztítás céljából kivehető.
Az eltávolításhoz egyenesen húzza ki a

polcot. A rekeszfiókok felett lévő
borítólemezek tisztításkor levehetőek.
A 0 °C-os rekesz legjobb
teljesítményének biztosítása
érdekében, tisztítást követően a
legalsó polcot és a
borítólemezeket eredeti helyükre
kell visszahelyezni.
Ügyeljen arra, hogy ne sérüljön
meg a hűtőkör. A készülék
mozgatásakor a készülék elejének
peremét emelje fel, ellenkező
esetben megkarcolhatja a padlót.
A hűtőszekrény leolvasztása
Rendeltetésszerű használat során az
olvadékvíz minden alkalommal automatikusan
távozik a hűtőrekesz elpárologtatójáról, amint
a kompresszor leáll. A jégmentesítéssel
keletkezett víz a hűtőtér hátsó falán levő,
vályúszerű csatornán keresztül a készülék
hátulján, a kompresszor felett elhelyezett
tartályba jut, ahonnan elpárolog.
Fontos, hogy a hűtőszekrény hátfalának
közepén látható olvadékvíz kivezetőnyílást,
amely a jégmentesítésből származó vizet
elvezeti, rendszeresen megtisztítsa, nehogy a
víz befolyjon a tárolótérbe, károsítva a
készüléket vagy a tárolt árut.
Ha a készülék nincs használatban
Ha a készüléket hosszú időn át nem
használja, az alábbi óvintézkedéseket
végezze el:
1. Válassza le a készüléket az elektromos
táphálózatról.
2. Vegye ki az összes élelmiszert.
3. Olvassza le (szükség esetén) és tisztítsa
meg a készüléket és az összes
tartozékot.
4. Tisztítsa meg a készüléket és az összes
tartozékot.
5. Hagyja résnyire nyitva az ajtót/ajtókat,
hogy ne képződjenek kellemetlen szagok.
