INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION (Fig. 1 & Fig. 2)
1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If
necessary, remove old xture including mounting hardware.
2. Carefully remove the xture from the carton and check that
all parts are included as shown in the illustration.
3. Pass xture wires up through center stem (M). Screw center
stem (M) to xture body. Pass xture wires up through xture
loop (P). Screw xture loop (P) to center stem (M).
4. Attach all thread (E) with two hex nuts pointing down to
mounting bracket (A) with ground screw pointing down
until you reach the hex nut. Secure with hex nut (X). Screw
canopy loop (W) onto the other end of all thread (E).
5. Secure mounting bracket (A) to junction box with junction
box screws (B).
6. Attach quick link (G) to xture loop (P) and chain (H).
Completely close quick link (G). Determine desired hanging
height of xture. Use chain pliers to open chain links.
Remove excess chain. Weave xture wires through chain
links. Attach quick link (G) and slide canopy ring (F) and
canopy (D) over chain and xture wires. Attach quick link (G)
to canopy loop (W). Ensure quick link is completely closed.
7. Feed wires through canopy loop (W) and all thread (E). Pull
xture wires tight.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 3)
8. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure
that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has
a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the xture’s
ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the xture’s ground wire
directly to the crossbar (A)using the green screw provided.
9. Tuck wire connections neatly into junction box.
INSTALLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
10. Slide canopy (D) over canopy loop (W) and secure with
canopy ring (F).
11. Slide cups (K) over sockets.
12. Install (6) six candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or
CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the
xture specication—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM
WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE
NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

Notice: It is important to use proper chain pliers (not included)
To OPEN and CLOSE the chain included with this xture. Do
not open them with other tools that may twist or stress the
chain links. It is important to use proper chain pliers like the
ones shown in the diagram.
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction
box and test the xture.
