C Zippey Use
1 Pull down latch to open gate and place on wire
2 Attach either a karabiner or textile sling into attachment eye
3 Endstops MUST be tted
4 Ensure compatibility between Zippey and chosen braking system
5 Ensure braking system is correctly positioned to avoid displacement of Zippey on impact
6 To maximise the lifespan of any trolley (of any brand), be sure to use a cable of better quality
(smoother construction). This will result in less damage being caused to the trolley bearings in use
D Zippey Misuse
1 Do not attach a karabiner through the gate
2 Do not use as a zip line trolley without Endstops
3 Do not allow the karabiner to trail on the line
E Pre-Use check
1 Check Endstops for cracks
2 Ensure that the screws are present and tight
3 Check that wheels rotate freely. *Note that the rubber seals on sealed bearing models will create
some drag when testing by hand. This is normal, the bearings should still feel smooth
4 Check that the latch and gate return by themselves, back to the locked position
5 Check for sharp edges and burrs around the attachment eye. Slings should also be checked
6 Check the security of any accessories that are tted

H ZipSpeed Use
1 Primary attachment point must always be used
2 A karabiner can be attached through the Rear attachment eye for redundancy
3 The bumper should always be tted facing towards the braking system
4 Stabiliser bar can be tted. Only one karabiner per eye is permitted and they are for single person
use only
5 Ensure compatibility between ZipSpeed Trolley and chosen braking system
6 Ensure braking system is correctly positioned to avoid displacement of ZipSpeed Trolley
on impact
7 To maximise the lifespan of any trolley (of any brand), be sure to use a cable of better quality
(smoother construction). This will result in less damage being caused to the trolley bearings in use
I ZipSpeed Misuse
1 Do not allow karabiners to drag on cable
2 Do not use unsuitable shaped karabiners
3 Do not use without bumper
J ZipSpeed Pre-Use Check
1 Look for excessive wear on bumper.
2 Check for wear and burrs around all attachment points
3 Look for distortion around the attachment eyes
4 Check that wheels rotate freely. *Note that the seals on sealed bearing models will create some
drag when testing by hand. This is normal, the bearings should still feel smooth

N ZipSpeed Xtreme Use
1 To maximise the lifespan of any trolley (of any brand), be sure to use a cable of better-quality
(smoother construction). This will result in less damage being caused to the trolley bearings in use.
The lifespan of the Noise Reduction wheels can be maximised by using a better quality cable.
2 ARC079 and its 'Air Paddle' to be used in conjunction with an appropriate braking system
3 Optional Fender can be used when the Grab Rope system isn't in use
4 Use either KH204 (Aluminium) Karabiner or KH212 (Steel) Karabiner
O ZipSpeed Xtreme Karabiner Use
Recommended ISC Karabiners are: KH204 (Aluminium), KH212 (Steel)
1 Correct Karabiner placement
2 Incorrect Karabiner placement - cross loaded on karabiner gate - highly dangerous
3 Incorrect Karabiner placement - cross loaded on karabiner spine - highly dangerous
4 Incorrect Karabiner placement - attached to one frame and not both -highly dangerous

Q ZipSpeed Xtreme Pre-use Check
1 Check the frame, apertures, bumpers are free from cracks and deformation
2 Ensure the correct karabiner is being used (KH204 Aluminium, KH212 Steel) and is
attached correctly
3 Ensure the Air Paddle and ARC Cam are moving smoothly, and the Air Paddle springs back into
its upright position after being lowered
4 Check that the wheels rotate freely and that the noise reduction coating is free from damage,
pitting, loss of material or extreme colour change
a Shown in 'active' or 'ready to use' position.
b Sprung detent adjustment - undo the lock nut, adjust the slotted screw, re-tighten the lock nut
c Replaceable ARC cam - undo the lock nut, remove the axle bolt, replace the cam, replace the
axle bolt and re-tighten the nut
d 'Return' spring housing - apply lubrication here to ensure free movement of the 'air paddle'
a View shows the 'air paddle' during travel. When the trolley is released the wind pressure pushes
the 'air paddle' back, lifting the ARC cam o the cable for noise reduction (prevents chattering
noise on the cable)
b ARC Cam is held o the cable whilst the trolley is running at high speed
a When the trolley slows down at the end of the run the 'air paddle' returns to this position,
allowing the ARC Cam to engage with the cable
b ARC Cam position - engaged with the cable
a View shows the 'air paddle' folded forward/ at ready for transit. The 'air paddle' is protected
between the 2 side frames of the trolley
20 RP07X Tandem Trolley Series: Issue E March 2021
R ZipSpeed Grab Rope
Grab Rope System NOT to be used in conjunction with ARC cam and Fender
1 The Grab Rope system activates at the front of the trolley
2 The Grab Rope system moves towards the rear of the trolley by moving over the top of the frame
3 The Grab Rope system returns into its nal position at the rear of the trolley, and stops the rider
moving backwards on the line
