12. WASSER UND OBJEKTE, DIE IN DAS GERÄT GELANGEN KÖNNEN – Es sollte Vorsicht bei diesen Objekten geboten

13. REPERATURBEDARF BEI SCHADENSFALL – Das Gerät sollte nur von qualifiziertem Personal repariert werden wenn:

a. Die Stromverkabelung beschädigt ist.

b. Objekte in das Gerät hineingelangt sind oder Flüssigkeit in das Innere gelangt ist.

Hinweis:

a. Verdreckte oder zerkratzte CDs können beim Abspielen springen. Säubern Sie oder wechseln Sie die CD aus.

b. Wenn ein Fehler angezeigt oder eine Fehlfunktion besteht, das Netzkabel rausziehen und alle Batterien entfernen. Danach

das Netzkabel wieder anschließen.

VOR DEM BETRIEB

Da verdreckte, beschädigte oder verbogene CDs das Gerät beschädigen können, sollte auf folgendes

geachtet werden:

a. CDs mit der Beschriftung nach oben einlegen.

b. Benutzen Sie CDs nur mit Digital Audio-Signalen.

STROMVERSORGUNG

NETZSTROM

Sie können Ihr tragbares Gerät an einen Stromkreis anschließen, dazu die Verkabelung an den Stecker hinten am Gerät

anschließen und am Netzstrom anschließen. Überprüfen Sie die Spannung des Gerätes. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Stromkabel

richtig am Gerät angeschlossen ist.

BATTERIEBETRIEB

Legen Sie Batterien in der Größe 6 x „C” in das Batteriefach. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterien richtig eingesetzt sind, um

Beschädigungen am Gerät vorzubeugen. Die Batterien immer aus dem Gerät entfernen, wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht in

Betrieb ist. Andernfalls könnten Batterien auslaufen und das Gerät beschädigen.

Hinweis:

- Immer Batterien derselben Marke benutzen. Niemals verschiedene Batterietypen benutzen.

- Wenn Sie das Gerät mit Batterien betreiben, ziehen sie den Netzstecker raus.

GENERELLE BEDIENUNG

1. Die „FUNCTION”-Auswahl auf „Radio”-Modus stellen.

2. Um das gewünschte Band einzustellen, „BAND”-Auswahlschalter benutzen.

3. Mit der „TUNING”-Kontrolle können Sie die gewünschte Frequenz einstellen.

4. Stellen sie mit der „VOLUME”-Kontrolle den Lautstärkenpegel ein.

UKW /UKW-STEREOEMPFANG

- Stellen sie den „BAND”-Auswahlschalter auf UKW-Modus für MONO-Empfang.

- Stellen sie den „BAND”-Auswahlschalter auf UKW STEREO-Modus für Stereoempfang. Die Stereoanzeige zeigt den FM

ST.- Modus an.

FÜR BESSEREN EMPFANG

- Die Antenne für besseren UKW (FM) Empfang bewegen.

- Das Gerät für besseren MW (AM) Empfang bewegen.

CD / MP3 / WMA BEDIENUNG

GENERELLE BEDIENUNG

PLAY / PAUSE Drücken Sie, um CD / MP3 / WMA abzuspielen.

Nochmals drücken, um das Abspielen der CD / MP3 / WMA zu pausieren.

Nochmals drücken, um weiterzuspielen.

SKIP + SKIP – Drücken, um zum nächsten Musikstück oder zum vorherigen zu gehen.

Beim Abspielen gedrückt halten, bis die Stelle gefunden wird, zu der Sie möchten.

BEDIENUNG DES CD-PLAYERS

1. Den Schalter „FUNCTION“ auf „CD / MP3 / WMA“-Modus stellen.

2. CD-Fach öffnen und eine CD / MP3 / WMA-CD mit der Beschriftung nach oben in das CD-Fach legen.

3. CD-Fach schließen.

4. „PLAY /PAUSE“-Taste drücken, um CD / MP3 / WMA-CD abzuspielen.

5. Den „VOLUME”-Regler auf gewünschte Lautstärke stellen.

6. „PLAY / PAUSE”-Taste wieder drücken, um gegebenenfalls das Gerät vorübergehend anzuhalten.

7. „STOP”-Taste drücken, wenn sie fertig gehört haben.

TITEL PROGRAMMIEREN

Für eine CD können bis zu 20 Tracks programmiert werden.

Drücken Sie auf die „STOP“-Taste, bevor Sie beginnen.

1. „PROGRAM”-Taste drücken und auf der Anzeige blinkt „P01”.

2. Der gewünschten Track mit den „SKIP +” oder „SKIP –“-Tasten auswählen. (Das gewünschte Album können Sie mit der

„ALBUM”-Taste auswählen).

3. Die „PROGRAM”-Taste noch einmal drücken, um den gewünschten Track im Programmspeicher bestätigen.

4. Wiederholen Sie den 2. und 3. Schritt noch einmal, um diese im Programmspeicher zu speichern.

5. Wenn alle Tracks programmiert sind, „PLAY / PAUSE”-Taste drücken, um die CD in der programmierten Reihenfolge

abzuspielen.

6. Um das Programm zu löschen, die „STOP”-Taste zweimal drücken.

Drücken Sie die „MODE”-Taste bevor oder während der CD / MP3 / WMA-Wiedergabe. Jedes Drücken ändert den

Funktionsmodus wie folgt:

WARTUNG & SICHERHEIT

VORKEHRUNGEN & ALLGEMEINE WARTUNG

• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine harte und flache Oberfläche, so dass das System nicht kippen kann.

• Setzen Sie das Gerät, die Batterien oder die CD nicht Feuchtigkeit, Regen, Sand oder extremer Hitze durch Heizkörper

oder direktem Sonnenlicht aus.

• Bedecken Sie das Gerät nicht. Angemessene Belüftung mit einem Mindestabstand von

15 cm zwischen den Belüftungslöchern und den umgebenden Flächen ist notwendig, um

einen Hitzestau zu vermeiden.

• Die mechanischen Teile des Geräts enthalten selbstschmierende Lager und dürfen nicht

eingeölt oder geschmiert werden.

• Um das Gerät zu säubern, benutzen Sie einen weichen feuchten Stoff. Benutzen Sie

keine Putzmittel, die Alkohol, Ammoniak, Benzol oder abreibende Substanzen enthalten,

da diese das Gehäuse beschädigen können.

UMGANG MIT DEM CD PLAYER UND DER CD

• Die Linse des CD Players darf niemals berührt werden!

• Plötzliche Änderungen in der Umgebungstemperatur können Kondensation verursachen und die Linse Ihres CD Players

benetzen. Es ist dann nicht möglich eine CD abzuspielen. Versuchen Sie nicht die Linse zu säubern sondern lassen Sie

das Gerät in einer warmen Umgebung bis die Feuchtigkeit verdunstet ist.

• Schließen Sie immer die CD-Klappe, um das CD-Fach staubfrei zu halten.

Zum Säubern, wischen Sie das Fach mit einem weichen, trockenen Stoff

aus.

• Um die CD zu säubern, wischen Sie in geraden Linien von der Mitte bis zu

der Kante mit einem weichen, streifenfreien Stoff. Benutzen Sie keine

Reinigungsmittel, da diese die CD beschädigen können.

• Schreiben Sie niemals auf eine CD und kleben Sie keine Etiketten darauf.

FEHLERHILFE

Wenn ein Fehler auftritt, beachten Sie zuerst die unten aufgelisteten Punkte, bevor Sie das Gerät zur Reparatur bringen.

Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht, da die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags besteht.

BATTERY POWER

Insert 6 x “C” size batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure that the batteries are inserted correctly to avoid damage to

the appliance. Always remove the batteries when appliance will not be used for a long period of time, as this will cause leakage

to the batteries and subsequently damage to your set.

Notes:

RADIO OPERATION

GENERAL OPERATION

1. Set the “FUNCTION” selector to “RADIO” mode.

2. Select desired band by using the “BAND” selector.

3. Adjust radio frequency to your desired station by using the “TUNING” control.

4. Adjust the “VOLUME” control to the desired level.

FM / FM-STEREO RECEPTION

- Set the “BAND” selector to FM mode for MONO reception.

- Set the “BAND” selector to FM ST. mode for FM STEREO reception. The Stereo indicator light up to show FM ST. mode.

FOR BETTER RECEPTION

- Reorient the antenna for better reception.

- Reorient the appliance to get better AM reception.

CD / MP3 / WMA OPERATION

GENERAL OPERATION

PLAY / PAUSE Press to start playing CD / MP3 / WMA disc.

Press again to stop playing CD / MP3 / WMA operation temporarily.

Press again to resume playback.

SKIP+ SKIP– Press to go to the next track or back to the previous track.

Press and hold while playing until you find the point of the sound.

PLAYBACK

1. Set the “FUNCTION” selector to “CD / MP3 / WMA” mode.

2. Open the CD door and place a CD / MP3 / WMA disc with the label up in the CD compartment.

3. Close the CD door.

4. Press the “PLAY / PAUSE” button to start playing CD / MP3 / WMA disc.

5. Adjust the “VOLUME” control to the desired level.

6. Press the “PLAY / PAUSE” button again when you want to stop playback temporarily.

7. Press the “STOP” button when finished.

PROGRAM

Up to 20 tracks can be programmed for disc play in any order.

Be sure to press the “STOP” button before use.

1. Press the “PROGRAM” button, the display will show “P01” and flash.

2. Select desired track by using the “SKIP +” or “SKIP -” button. (You may select a desired album by pressing the “ALBUM”

button).

3. Press the “PROGRAM” button again to confirm desired track into the program memory.

4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to enter additional tracks into the program memory.

5. When all the desired tracks have been programmed, press the “PLAY / PAUSE” button to play the disc in the order you

have programmed.

6. Press the “STOP” button twice to terminate programmed playback.

PRECAUTIONS & GENERAL MAINTENANCE

• Place the set on a hard and flat surface so the system does not tilt.

• Do not expose the set, batteries or CD to humidity, rain, sand or excessive heat caused

by heating equipment or direct sunlight.

• Do not cover the set. Adequate ventilation with a minimum gap of 15 cm between the

ventilation holes and surrounding surfaces is necessary to prevent heat build-up.

• The mechanical parts of the set contain selflubricating bearings and must not be oiled or

lubricated.

• To clean the set use a soft dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents containing alcohol,

ammonia, benzene or abrasives as these may harm the housing.

CD PLAYER AND CD HANDLING

• The lens of the CD player should never be touched!

• Sudden changes in the surrounding temperature can cause condensation to form and the lens of your CD player to cloud

over. Playing a CD us then not possible. Do not attempt to clean the lens but leave the set in a warm environment until the

moisture evaporates.

• Always close the CD door to keep the CD Compartment dust-free. To

clean, dust the compartment with a soft dry cloth.

• To clean the CD, wipe in a straight lien from the center towards the edge

using a soft, line-free cloth. Do not use cleaning agents as they may

damage the disc.

• Never write on a CD or attach any stickers on it.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If a fault occurs, first check the points listed below before taking the set for repair.

Do not open the set as there is a risk of electric shock.

If you are unable to remedy a problem by following these hints, consult your dealer or service center.
