material. The packaging material represents a danger of suﬀoca-

tion. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Please keep

children away from the product at all times.

This product is not a toy and should not be played by children.

Children are not able to understand the dangers that can occur

when handling this product.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-

pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a

safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not

play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not

be made by children without supervision.

Avoid the danger of

death from electric shock

Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as

the required operating voltage for the mains adapter (220–240 V~).

Before connecting the product to the mains you should always

check the product and the mains lead for any damage. A dam-

aged product represents the danger of death from electric shock.

Do not use the product if you ﬁnd any damage.

Please consult a specialist electrician if you discover any damage or

problems with the product, or for the performance of repairs to the

product.

Never open any of the electrical equipment or insert any objects

into it. Such interventions represent the danger of death from elec-

tric shock.

It is essential that the product does not come into contact with

water or other liquids.

Protect the power supply cable from sharp edges, mechanical

strain and hot surfaces.

Never use the product in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub,

shower or swimming pool.

Do not look directly into the product or its reﬂection. Do not aim the

product directly at people. This could produce glare, leading to

accidents.

If direct or reﬂected light strikes your eyes, close them and move

your head immediately out of the light.

Operate the product only with supplied mains adapter

(GY1012W1200MA). Please note that any damage caused

through the use of a diﬀerent adapter is excluded from the warranty.

Never touch the mains adapter 9 with moist or wet hands.

Unplug the mains adapter 9 from the socket if the product will not

be used for an extended period (e.g. whilst on holiday).

The LEDs become hot during operation. Allow the product and

LEDs to cool before you touch them.

Please note that the mains adapter 9 continues to draw a small

amount of power even if the product is turned oﬀ as long as the

mains adapter 9 is plugged into a power outlet. To switch the

product oﬀ completely, unplug the mains adapter 9 from the

socket.

The LEDs cannot be replaced.

If the LEDs fail at the end of their life, the entire product must be

replaced.

Bringing into use

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.

Never direct the LED light beam on to reﬂective surfaces or at people

or animals. Failure to observe this advice may result in eye injury

and / or loss of sight to people or animals. Even a weak LED light

beam can cause eye damage.

Place the product on a ﬂat surface with its back side facing you.

Insert the connection plug of the mains adapter 9 into the con-

nection socket 7 on the back of the product.

Plug the mains adapter 9 into a properly installed socket.

Adjusting the product

Note: Only change the alignment of the product when it is turned oﬀ.

You can adjust the product to the lighting conditions you require.

To do so, use the four joints:

1. Turning joint with lamp base 6: the lamp arm 2 can be turned

approx. 22.5° in both directions from the midpoint.

2. Lower tilt joint: with this you can move the lamp arm 2 approx.

90° upwards or downwards.

3. Upper tilt joint: with this you can move the lamp head 1

approx. 135° upwards or downwards.

4. Turning joint in the lamp head 1: with this you can turn the lamp

head 1 90° in both directions.

Turning the product on / oﬀ

Turn the product on or oﬀ by touching the ON / OFF button 3 on

the lamp base 6.

Selecting the light colour

You can set the colour of the light in ﬁve stages from warm-white

3000 K to cold-white 6500 K.

Touch the light colour selection button 4 for this. When you turn

the product on, it will automatically be set to the last light colour to

have been used.

Dimming

The product has seven dimmer settings. To dim the light, simply

touch the light level selection button 5 on the lamp base 6.

Select the small sun at the left end of the bar with your ﬁnger to

select low / dimmed light. For high / bright light, touch the large

sun at the right end of the bar. The ﬁve diﬀerent length lines in the

bar represent the various brightness.

You may also run your ﬁnger along the lines. Simply stop when

you reach the desired brightness.

charge mobile phones, tablets and other such devices here.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Note: The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be

replaced.

DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! For electrical

safety reasons do not clean the product with water or other liquids

and never immerse it in water.

Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar. This would cause

damage to the product.

Never direct the LED light beam on to reﬂective surfaces or at peo-

ple or animals. Failure to observe this advice may result in eye in-

jury and / or loss of sight to people or animals. Even a weak LED

light beam can cause eye damage.

Pull the mains adapter 9 out of the mains socket.

Always use a dry ﬂuﬀ-free cloth for cleaning the product.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,

which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. The

Green Dot is not valid for Germany.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste

separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and

numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–

22: paper and ﬁbreboard / 80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable,

dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The

Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details

of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the prod-

uct properly when it has reached the end of its useful life

and not in the household waste. Information on collection

points and their opening hours can be obtained from your

local authority.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and

meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects

you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal

rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase.

Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within

3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our

choice – free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the

original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as

your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has

been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This war-

ranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus pos-

sibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile

parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.

Nigdy nie pozostawiać dzieci bez nadzoru z materiałem

opakowaniowym. Dzieci często nie dostrzegają niebezpieczeństwa.

Dzieci nie powinny mieć dostępu do produktu.

Niniejszy produkt nie jest zabawką, nie powinien znaleźć się w

rękach dzieci. Dzieci nie są w stanie rozpoznać ryzyka, jakie po-

Produktu należy używać wyłącznie z dostarczonym adapterem

Nigdy nie należy dotykać adaptera sieciowego 9 wilgotnymi

lub mokrymi rękami.

Wyjąć adapter sieciowy 9 z gniazdka, jeśli produkt nie jest

używany przez dłuższy czas (np. podczas urlopu).

Diody LED nagrzewają się podczas użytkowania. Pozostawić

produkt i diody LED do schłodzenia przed dotknięciem ich.

Należy pamiętać, że adapter sieciowy 9 bez uruchomienia

produktu nadal pobiera małą ilość mocy tak długo, jak adpter
