Storing the electric kettle
1. Allow the electric kettle to cool completely before storing it.
2. Wrap the power cord (2) around the cord wrap under the base (5) and store the electric kettle in a
safe and dust-free place.
3. Store the electric kettle in a dry, dust-free place.
Troubleshooting
If your electric kettle does not work as normal, follow the instructions below to try to solve the problem. If
working through the tips below does not fix the fault, please contact our hotline (see "Warranty
information" on page 15).

The mains plug is not
connected.
Connect the mains plug to a live wall outlet.
The electric kettle is not
switched on.
Press the On/Off Switch (4) down into the "I"
position to switch on the electric kettle.
The appliance has overheated
and the overheating protection
is preventing it from switching
on.
Wait until the electric kettle has cooled down.
Fill the kettle (7) with at least 0.7 litres of water
up to the "0.7L MIN" metal strip located inside
the kettle (7).

Place the kettle (7) correctly on the base (5).

paper recycling centres or public collection points for recycling. Any film or plastic contained in the
