EN BASIC MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
DO NOT USE A DAMAGED CATALYST PRODUCT FOR PROTECTION.
DROP OR IMPACT:
After a drop or collision, remove your phone from the case and do a water test to
make sure it is still in good working order. If the case leaks, do not use it underwater
or expose it to water.
CLEANING YOUR CASE EXTERIOR:
Rinse your case in clean water, mild soap and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before
removing your iPhone. Never use abrasive paper towels or solvent based cleaners
on your case.
Disinfectable with certain EPA approved disinfectants; the case can be disinfected
using 70% isopropyl alcohol, 70% ethanol, Lysol® Wipes, Clorox® Wipes or Opti-
Cide 3® Wipes. Avoid using cleaning products containing povidone-iodine (such
as Betadine®), as this may affect the function and aesthetic qualities of the case.
Always follow the instructions of the disinfectant manufacturer. It is best practice
for some disinfectants to be rinsed with water after disinfecting to remove residue
that may break down or wear the cases, then pat dried with a non-abrasive cloth.
The case may collect dirt in crevices or gaps. You can remove the phone from the
case to clean (if necessary). Dirt can be removed by light brushing parts in soapy
water using a toothbrush. Do not use anything hard or sharp on the case. Rinse
off any soapy water or disinfectant residue that remains on the case after cleaning
and allow it to dry prior to use.
Exposure to certain chemicals may result in loss of use or failure of the case.
If exposed to such chemicals, immediately rinse the case in clean water and dry
prior to use.
SUNSCREEN:
Use caution when using your case after applying sunscreen. Sunscreens often
contain solvents that can permanently mar or cloud the plastic parts of the case,
or could degrade the seals. If you accidentally expose your case to sunscreen,
rinse off the case as soon as possible.
TEMPERATURE:
The operating temperature for the iPhone is 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° Celsius). Never
expose your iPhone to temperatures outside of the iPhone’s operating temperature
range as stated in its manual. While the case can withstand temperatures up to
158° F (70° C), this is well beyond the iPhone's operating temperature range.
AIR TRAVEL AND ALTITUDE:
When traveling with your case in your checked luggage, please note that you must pack
your case so that either the Charge Port is unplugged or the lid is not installed on the
case. This is because the case is 100% sealed from the environment, and the extreme
pressure and temperature differences in the cargo hold could cause damage to some
features on your housing. The same rule applies if you send your case anywhere by
airmail or expose the case to large pressure or temperature differences. Always store

your case with Case Back removed or Plug for Charge Port open. If pressure build up
occurs, simply open the Charge Port to release pressure.
WATER AND PRESSURE:
The case has a water ingress rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529. Each case
is tested at the factory to ensure that it withstands pressures equivalent to a depth
of 33 ft/10 meters. However, even if a case is above a depth it's rated for, it may still
suffer water ingression if it is subjected to an activity that creates pressure on it
that exceeds that depth rating, such as movement through water. Our water rating
is suitable for rain, splashing, showering, swimming and snorkeling. Do not expose
the device to high velocity water, for example while water skiing or in a sauna or
steam room. Do not open the case or any openings underwater as this will allow
water to enter the case and damage your iPhone.
THE WATERPROOF AND DROP PROOF CHARACTERISTICS MAY NOT BE
PERMANENT AND MAY DECREASE AS A RESULT OF NORMAL WEAR OR EXPOSURE
TO ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS.
WARRANTY:
This product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship
when used normally in accordance with instructions (http://cata.ly/st-
TotalProtectionSeriesforiPhone) for one year from the date of original purchase by
the end-user purchaser. If a defect arises during the Warranty period, Labworks will
inspect, test and conrm the defect and in its sole discretion, repair or replace it
with a new or refurbished product or functional equivalent. This Warranty applies
to end-users who purchased the product directly from Labworks or its authorized
retailers and does not apply to transferees, products purchased from non-authorized
dealers, online auction websites or anyone else who stands to prot from this
Warranty without Labworks’ prior written authorization. This Warranty only applies
to the product itself, and excludes third party products even if packaged or sold
with the product (including your phone used with the product). To obtain warranty
service, please email [email protected] with purchase date, receipt, product
SKU, problem description, name, address, phone and email. In order to process
your claim, Labworks or its authorized representative may require that you provide
further information, including shipment of defective product and proof of purchase
documents. You are responsible for all costs associated with claims submitted
under this Warranty, including the cost of shipping, handling, customs duties, VAT
and other associated taxes and charges. You must comply with all applicable import
and export laws and regulations to send the product to or receive a replacement
product from Labworks International Design Ltd., Unit 2, 9/F, Block A, Yee Lim

of our authorized representative. For end users covered by an applicable consumer

FR INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’ENTRETIEN ET LES SOINS

Conformez-vous toujours aux consignes du fabricant du désinfectant. Un rinçage
à l’eau de certains produits, suivi d’un coup de chiffon doux, est préconisé après
la désinfection pour retirer les résidus susceptibles d’abîmer ou de dégrader la
coque.
Le boîtier peut accumuler de la saleté dans les creux et fentes. Vous pouvez retirer
le téléphone de la coque pour la nettoyer si nécessaire. Vous pouvez retirer la
saleté en brossant légèrement les pièces à l’aide d’une brosse à dents. N’utilisez

VOYAGE EN AVION ET ALTITUDE:

LA PRESSION DE L'EAU:
La coque présente une cote d’étanchéité IP68 selon la norme IEC 60529. Chaque
coque fait l’objet d’un test d’usine qui garantit sa résistance à des pressions
équivalentes à une profondeur de 10 mètres (33 pieds). Néanmoins, même si une
coque se trouve à une plus faible profondeur que celle qui correspond à sa cote
d’étanchéité, elle peut subir des inltrations si elle est soumise à une activité, comme
un mouvement dans l’eau, exerçant sur elle une pression supérieure à la pression
nominale à cette profondeur. Notre cote d’étanchéité indique une résistance à la
pluie, aux éclaboussures, à la nage en surface et à la plongée sous-marine. N’exposez
pas l’appareil à de l’eau en mouvement ultrarapide : ski nautique, sauna, hammam,
etc. N’ouvrez pas la coque ou une autre ouverture sous l’eau, car cela pourrait
compromettre l’étanchéité, laisser l’eau entrer et endommager votre iPhone.

CAÍDA O IMPACTO
Después de una caída o un choque, saca el teléfono de la funda y realiza una
prueba de agua para comprobar que funciona correctamente. Si la funda gotea, no
la uses bajo el agua ni la expongas a ella.
CÓMO LIMPIAR EL EXTERIOR DE SU CARCASA:
Enjuague su carcasa en agua fría, jabón suave, y séquela completamente con un
paño suave antes de remover su iPhone. Nunca use toallas de papel abrasivo o
limpiadores con solventes en su carcasa.
Desinfectable con ciertos desinfectantes aprobados por la EPA: la funda puede
desinfectarse usando alcohol isopropílico 70%, etanol 70%, Toallitas Lysol®, Toallitas
Clorox® o Toallitas Opti-Cide 3®. Evita usar productos de limpieza que contengan
povidona yodada (como Betadine®), ya que puede afectar a la función y las cualidades
estéticas de la funda. Sigue siempre las instrucciones del fabricante de desinfectantes.
Es una buena práctica que algunos desinfectantes se enjuaguen con agua después de
desinfectar para eliminar los residuos que puedan romper o desgastar las fundas y que,
después, se sequen a toques con un paño no abrasivo.
La funda puede acumular suciedad en grietas o huecos. Puedes sacar el teléfono de
la funda para limpiarla (si es necesario). La suciedad se puede eliminar cepillando
ligeramente las partes en agua con jabón utilizando un cepillo de dientes. No uses nada
duro o alado en la funda. Enjuaga cualquier resto de agua con jabón o de desinfectante
que quede en la funda después de limpiarla y déjala secar antes de usarla.
La exposición a algunos productos químicos puede provocar la pérdida de uso o el fallo
de la funda. Si se expone a dichos productos químicos, aclara inmediatamente la funda
con agua y sécala antes de su uso.
PROTECCIÓN SOLAR:
Use precaución cuando use su carcasa después de aplicarse protección solar.
Las cremas para protección solar a menudo contienen solventes que pueden dañar
o empañar permanentemente las partes plásticas de la carcasa, o pueden degradar
los sellos. Si accidentalmente expone su carcasa Catalyst a la crema de protección
solar, enjuague la carcasa tan pronto como le sea posible.
TEMPERATURA:
La temperatura de operación del iPhone es de 32° a 95° F (0° a 35° Celsius). Nunca
exponga su iPhone a temperaturas fuera del rango de temperaturas de operación
del iPhone, de acuerdo a lo indicado en su manual. Aunque la carcasa Catalyst
puede resistir temperaturas de hasta 158° F (70° C), esto sobrepasa el rango de
temperaturas de operación del iPhone.

VIAJES AÉREOS Y ALTITUD:
Cuado viaje con su carcasa Catalyst en su equipaje facturado, advierta que debe
empacar su carcasa de forma que el puerto de carga y el conector jack de audio
estén desconectados o que la tapa esté desinstalada en la carcasa. La razón de
esto es que la carcasa está sellada al 100% del ambiente, y la presión extrema y
las diferencias de temperatura en la sección de carga podrían ocasionarle daños
a algunas funciones de su carcasa. La misma regla aplica si envía su carcasa a
cualquier parte por correo aéreo o expone la carcasa a grandes diferencias de
presión o temperatura. Almacene siempre su carcasa después de haberle quitado
la parte posterior o que el puerto de carga estén abiertos.
Si se produce un aumento de presión, basta con abrir el Puerto de Carga para
liberar la presión.
AGUA Y PRESIÓN:
La funda tiene una clasicación de resistencia al agua de IP68 por debajo del estándar
IEC 60529. Cada funda se prueba en la fábrica para garantizar que soporta una presión
equivalente a una profundidad de 10 metros. Sin embargo, incluso si una funda está
por encima de la profundidad para la que está clasicada, puede sufrir una entrada
de agua si se somete a una actividad que crea presión sobre ella, superando esa
clasicación de profundidad, como el movimiento a través del agua.
Nuestra clasicación de agua es apta para la lluvia, las salpicaduras, la ducha,
la natación y el buceo. No expongas el dispositivo al agua a gran velocidad, por
ejemplo, mientras practicas esquí acuático o en una sauna o un baño turco. No

TEMPERATURA:

VIAGGIO AEREO E ALTITUDINE:

a grandi differenze di temperatura e pressione. Riporre sempre la custodia con il
coperchio posteriore rimosso o il tappo per la porta di ricarica aperta.
Se dovesse accumularsi della pressione, aprire semplicemente la porta di ricarica
per rilasciare la pressione.
ACQUA E PRESSIONE:
La custodia ha una classicazione d’impermeabilità IP68 secondo la norma IEC

Sie sie so schnell wie möglich ab.
TEMPERATUR:
Die Betriebstemperatur für das iPhone sind 0° bis 35° Celsius. Setzen Sie Ihr
iPhone niemals Temperaturen außerhalb des im Betriebshandbuch angegebenen
Temperaturbereichs ein. Die Catalyst-Hülle kann zwar Temperaturen bis zu 70° C
aushalten, dies liegt jedoch weit außerhalb der Betriebstemperatur des iPhones.
FLUGREISEN UND HÖHE:
Wenn Sie mit der Catalyst-Hülle im aufgegebenen Gepäck reisen, müssen Sie Ihre
Hülle so einpacken, dass entweder die Dichtung für den Ladeanschluss geöffnet
oder die Rückseite nicht an der Hülle befestigt ist. Das liegt daran, dass die Hülle
zu 100% dicht ist und die extremen Temperatur- und Luftdruckunterschiede im
Laderaum einige Funktionen des Gehäuses beschädigen könnten. Das Gleiche

Temperaturschwankungen aussetzen. Lagern Sie Ihre Hülle immer mit entfernter
Rückseitel oder geöffnetem Ladeanschluss.
Wenn sich ein Druck aufbaut, öffnen Sie einfach den Ladeanschluss, um den Druck
entweichen zu lassen.
WASSER UND DRUCK:
Das Gehäuse ist gemäß der IEC-Norm 60529 wasserdicht (IP68). Jedes Gehäuse
wird im Werk getestet, um sicherzustellen, dass es einem Druck standhält, der
