We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You

have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use

are part of the product. They contain important information

concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product,

please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information

and instructions for use. Only use the product as described

and for the speciﬁed applications. If you pass the product on

to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the

documentation with it.

Intended use

This product is suitable as orientation light in

dry indoor rooms. It features a motion detector

which can automatically switch the light on

and oﬀ in the dark when motion is detected. The product

is intended for private use only and is not intended for

commercial use or for use in other applications.

Not suitable for household room illumination.

This product may be used by children age 8

ing experience and / or knowledge, so long as they are

supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and

understand the associated risks.

Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning

and user maintenance should not be performed by chil-

dren without supervision.

CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING! Never cover

the product during operation!

This product does not contain any parts that can be

serviced by the user.

The illuminants are not replaceable.

If the illuminants fail at the end of their life, the entire

product must be replaced.

CAUTION! RISK OF PRODUCT DAMAGE! Keep

the product away from moisture!

Safety instructions for batteries /

rechargeable batteries

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable bat-

teries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed

seek immediate medical attention.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge

non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit

batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open

them. Overheating, ﬁre or bursting can be the result.

Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into ﬁre

or water.

Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable

batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable

batteries

Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures,

which could aﬀect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g.

radiators / direct sunlight.

If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid

contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the

chemicals! Flush immediately the aﬀected areas with fresh

water and seek medical attention!

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or

damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries

can cause burns on contact with the skin.

Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an

event occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable

batteries, immediately remove them from the product to

prevent damage.

Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable bat-

teries. Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable

batteries.

Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product

will not be used for a longer period.

Risk of damage of the product

Only use the speciﬁed type of battery / rechargeable

battery!

Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to

polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable

battery and the product.

Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery

and in the battery compartment before inserting!

Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries

from the product immediately.

Before use

Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.

Note: Remove the insulation strip 4 before using the product

for the ﬁrst time.

Use

The product has three mode settings, you can slide the

slide switch 2 into the desired position (see Fig. A).

The available functions are:

Position ON: The product is always on.

Position OFF: The product is always oﬀ.

Position AUTO: In the dark, the product will automatically

switch on when motion is detected. The product switches

oﬀ automatically after approx. 15 seconds if no further

movement is detected. Please refer to “Technical data” for

details on the detection range and angle. Please note, in this

position the product will also use energy if the light is oﬀ.

Replacing batteries

The light intensity of the product fading or the light no longer

responding to motion in the dark indicates the battery charge

is weak.

The batteries must be replaced. Slide the slide switch 2 to

OFF position and then open the battery compartment 7

by removing the battery compartment cover 3 (see Fig. A).

Remove the batteries from the battery compartment 7 and

insert the new batteries into the battery compartment 7,

taking their polarity (+ and -) into account (see Fig. B).

Close the battery compartment 7 by placing the battery

compartment cover 3 on top of it and clicking it into place.

Only use batteries of the type speciﬁed under “Technical

data“ in these instructions for use.

Fixing the product

The product can be fixed by two ways:

1. Hold the magnets 5 at the back side against a metallic

magnetic surface. The product remains in this position.

2. You can mount the product on the wall (see Fig. C):

Note: You will need an electric drill to install the product.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Refer to the operating

instructions for your electric drill.

Ensure that you do not damage any cables

in the wall.

Note: The enclosed mounting material is suitable for mountin

g

to masonry. Other wall substrates may require other fastening

materials. Seek specialist advice when in doubt.

Measure up the wall or mounting surface for drilling the

holes. Use a spirit level to improve accuracy.

Mark the two mounting holes at a distance of approx.

69.2 mm apart.

Now drill the mounting holes (Ø approx. 6 mm, depth

approx. 30 mm).

Insert the included dowels 8 into the drilled holes and

insert the included mounting screws 9 into the dowels 8

and tighten them. Let them project a distance of about

1.3 mm from the wall or mounting surface.

Attach the product to the mounting screws 9 using the

appropriate wall mounting holes 6.

Cleaning and care

Use a dry cloth to clean the product - never use petrol,

solvents or cleaners that attack plastic.

Do not clean the product with water or other liquids.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which

you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for

waste separation, which are marked with abbrevi-

ations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning:

1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and ﬁbreboard /

80–98: composite materials.

he product and packaging materials are recyclabl

dispose of it separately for better waste treatment.

The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for

more details of how to dispose of your worn-out

product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of

the product properly when it has reached the end

of its useful life and not in the household waste. In-

formation on collection points and their opening

hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be

recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its

amendments. Please return the batteries / rechargeable bat-

teries and / or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect

disposal of the batteries / rechargeable

batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with

the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals

and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regu-

lations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows:

Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you sh

ould

dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local

collection point.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines

and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of

product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of

this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by

our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of

purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or

manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will

repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please

keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document

is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes

void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained

improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture.

This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal

wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries)

or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable

batteries or glass parts.

który może automatycznie włączyć i wyłączyć produkt w

ciemnym otoczeniu po wykryciu ruchu. Produkt jest prze-

Jeżeli produkt nie jest przez dłuższy czas używany,

baterie / akumulatorynależy wyjąć.
