The equipment can be used in enclosed rooms in a

free standing position for room heating. Keep a

minimum distance of 1 m between the front of the

housing and walls, combustible materials (furniture,

curtains, etc.) and 30 cm from all other housing

surface areas (Fig 2). The equipment may only be

used completely mounted and standing vertically

on a stable surface. It is prohibited to operate the

equipment on an instable surface (e.g. on a bed).

The machine is to be used only for its prescribed

purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of

misuse. The user / operator and not the

manufacturer will be liable for any damage or

injuries of any kind caused as a result of this. This

appliance is perfectly suitable for larger areas.

Because a high volume of cold air is getting

warmed up and distributed, the air might feel cooler

than air from a conventional radiant heater. This is

not an equipment defect. The advantage is that the

entire areau is getting warmed up instead of only

the area close to the heater.



WARNING

Read all safety regulations and instructions. Any

failure in following the safety regulations and

instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or

serious injury. Keep all safety regulations and

instructions in a safe place for future use.

• Read the operating instructions before using

the appliance for the first time. The appliance

may only be used as described therein. All

other usages are not permitted.

• Keep the instructions in a safe place and give

them to third parties if necessary.

• Check that the appliance has been delivered in

perfect condition. If it has suffered any damage,

do not connect the appliance to the power

supply.

• Check the appliance, particularly the mains

lead, for signs of damage every time before

use. If you find signs of damage, contact your

customer service center.

• Place the mains cable so that there is no

danger of tripping over the cable.

• Do not guide the mains cable over hot parts of

the appliance during operation.

• Never use the mains cable to pull the power

plug out of the socket-outlet! Never use the

mains cable to carry the appliance or try to

move the appliance by pulling the mains cable.

• Never wind the mains cable around the fan

heater.

• Never jam the mains cable between objects, or

pull the cable over sharp edges, or place the

cable over hot plates or open flames.

• Not suitable for commercial purposes.

• Use the appliance in enclosed rooms only.

• Never open the appliance or touch live parts –

danger of fatal accident!

• Never immerse the appliance in water – danger

of fatal accident!

• Do not place the appliance near wet rooms or

wet areas (bathroom, shower room, swimming

pool, etc.). It must not be possible for the

control elements to be touched by a person in a

shower, a vessel filled with liquid or the bathtub.

• Never use the appliance with wet hands.

• Position the appliance in such a way that the

mains plug is accessible at all times.

• If the appliance is not used for a longer period

of time, disconnect it from the mains supply.

• Do not position the appliance directly below a

socket.

• For supervised operation only.

• If the appliance is used for a longer time the

housing can become very hot. Position the

appliance in such a way as to prevent

accidental touching.

• Never position the appliance on deep pile

carpets.

• Do not use the appliance in rooms in which

inflammable materials (for example solvents,

etc.) or gases are used or stored.

• Keep highly inflammable substances and

gases away from the appliance.

• Do not use in areas where there is a fire risk

(for example wooden sheds).

• Only use the radiator with its mains lead fully

extended.

• Not suitable for installation on permanently

installed electrical cables.

• Do not use the appliance for animal husbandry

or livestock breeding.

• Do not insert any foreign objects in the

appliance’s openings.

• Danger of electric shock and damage to the

appliance.

• Keep children and people on medication or

under the influence of alcohol away from the

appliance.

• Maintenance and repair work may only be

carried out by authorized trained personnel.

Important! Do not cover the appliance –

• For electrical safety purposes provide separate

fusing for the equipment (16A) and install a

residual current device circuit-breaker (RCD).

• This equipment is not designed to be used by

people (including children) with limited

physical, sensory or mental capacities or those

with no experience and/or knowledge unless

they are supervised by a person who is

responsible for their safety or they have

received instructions from such a person in

how to use the equipment safely.

• Children must always be supervised in order to

ensure that they do not play with the

equipment.

• Do not connect the fan heater using an on/off

timer or other equipment which can

automatically switch the device on.

• If an extension cord is used, it must be as short

as possible and always be fully extended. Only

use certified 3 wired extension cords with a

minimum of 2.5 mm

thickness suitable for a

minimum of 2500W.



Check the correct air throughput by holding a sheet

of paper at a distance of 10 cm in front of the air

outlet grille in air circulation mode (without heating).

The paper must be blown away from the air outlet

grille. When the equipment is used for the first time

or after a long period of rest it may emit an odor for

a short time. This is not a fault. Because the heating

system works with specially encapsulated heating

elements and a high air delivery rate, the emitted

air may be felt to be cooler than that from a

conventional fan heater. This is not an equipment

defect.





Note:

The fan will start as soon as the equipment is

switched on. The equipment will only heat up when

the room temperature falls below the temperature

set on the thermostat and the heat output switch is

on.

Switch on the required heating output (1). Turn the

control (2) to “max” until the required room

temperature has been reached. Then turn down the

control until you hear a clear click. The thermostat

will switch the heating element on and off

automatically.



In case of excessive heating, the heating function

shuts down automatically. The fan will restart. If this

occurs, turn off the equipment, disconnect the

mains plug and wait a few minutes for the

equipment to cool. After eliminating the cause (e.g.

a covered air grille), the equipment can be switched

on again.



After the hot equipment has been switched off (by

turning the heat output switch to “0”) the fan may

continue to run for a while to cool the equipment.

However, if the fan continues to run for more than

10 minutes, this is a sign that it cannot cut out

automatically because of the high room

temperature. In this case you must pull out the

power plug.



Cleaning

Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to

prevent overheating of the engine. Regularly clean

the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably

after each use. Keep the ventilation slots free from

dust and dirt. If the dirt does not come off use a soft

cloth moistened with soapy water. Never use

solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water,

etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.



Store the equipment and accessories out of

children’s reach in a dark and dry place at above

freezing temperature. The ideal storage

temperature is between 5 and 30 °C. Store the

equipment in its original packaging.



Should a fault occur, e.g. after wear of a part,

please contact the service address on the warranty

card. In the back of this manual you will find an

exploded view showing the parts that can be

ordered.



To prevent damage during transport, the appliance

is delivered in a solid packaging which consists

largely of reusable material. Therefore please make

use of options for recycling the packaging.

Damaged and/or disposed of electrical or

electronic devices must be dropped off at

recycling stations intended for that

purpose.



For the conditions of warranty, please refer to the

separately provided warranty card. The product

and the user manual are subject to change.

Das Gerät kann in geschlossenen Räumen

freistehend zur Heizung von Räumen benutzt

werden. Halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von 1 m

zwischen dem Vorderteil des Gehäuses und

Wänden, brennbaren Materialien (Möbel, Gardinen

usw.) und 30 cm von allen anderen

Gehäuseflächen ein (Abb. 2). Das Gerät darf nur

vollständig zusammengebaut und senkrecht auf

einer stabilen Fläche stehend benutzt werden. Es

ist verboten, das Gerät auf einer unstabilen Fläche

(z.B. auf einem Bett) zu betreiben.

Das Gerät darf nur für seinen vorgeschriebenen

Zweck benutzt werden. Alle anderen Anwendungen

sind als Missbrauch zu betrachten. Der Benutzer/

Bediener und nicht der Hersteller ist für Schäden

oder Verletzungen jeder Art, die in dessen Folge

entstanden sind, verantwortlich. Das Gerät ist für

größere Bereiche perfekt geeignet. Weil eine große

Kaltluftmenge erwärmt und verteilt wird, könnte

sich die Luft kühler als Luft von einem

herkömmlichen Strahlungsheizkörper anfühlen.

Das ist kein Geräteschaden. Der Vorteil ist, dass

der gesamte Bereich und nicht nur der Bereich in

der Nähe des Heizkörpers erwärmt wird.



das Gerät sicher zu benutzen ist.

• Kinder müssen immer beaufsichtigt werden,

um zu gewährleisten, dass sie nicht mit dem

Gerät spielen.

• Schließen Sie den Heizlüfter nicht über einen

Ferm

An-/Aus-Timer oder anderes Gerät an, das das

Gerät automatisch anschalten kann.

• Wenn ein Verlängerungskabel benutzt wird,

muss es so kurz wie möglich sein und immer

voll ausgezogen sein. Benutzen Sie nur

zertifiziertes 3-adriges Verlängerungskabel mit

einer Mindeststärke von 2,5 mm

, das für

mindestens 2500 W geeignet ist.



Überprüfen Sie den Luftdurchfluss, indem Sie im

Luftumlaufbetrieb (ohne Heizen) ein Stück Papier

in einem Abstand von 10 cm vor dem

Luftaustrittsgitter halten. Das Papier muss vom

Luftaustrittsgitter weggeblasen werden.



Wen das Gerät das erste Mal oder nach einer

langen Ruhezeit benutzt wird, kann es kurze Zeit

einen Geruch abgeben.Das ist kein Fehler. Weil

das Heizsystem mit speziell eingekapselten

Heizelementen und einer hohen

Luftliefergeschwindigkeit arbeitet, kann sich die

abgegebene Luft kühler als die von einem

herkömmlichen Heizlüfter anfühlen.Das ist kein

Geräteschaden.





Der Ventilator beginnt zu arbeiten, sobald das

Gerät angeschaltet wird. Das Gerät heizt nur, wenn

die Raumtemperatur unter die am Thermostat

eingestellte Temperatur fällt und der

Heizausgangsschalter angeschaltet ist.

Schalten Sie den erforderlichen Heizausgang (1)

an. Drehen Sie den Regler (2) auf “max”, bis die

erforderliche Raumtemperatur erreicht worden ist.

Dann drehen Sie den Regler herunter, bis Sie einen

Klick hören.



Wenn die Erwärmung zu groß wird, wird die

Heizfunktion automatisch abgeschaltet. Der

Ventilator wird erneut gestartet. Wenn das passiert,

schalten Sie das Gerät aus, ziehen den

Netzstecker ab und warten ein paar Minuten, bis

sich das Gerät abgekühlt hat. Nach Beseitigung der

Ursache (z.B. ein verdecktes Luftgitter) kann das

Gerät wieder angeschaltet werden.



Nachdem das heiße Gerät ausgeschaltet worden

ist (durch Drehen des Heizausgangsschalters auf

“0”), kann der Ventilator eine Weile weiterlaufen,

um das Gerät abzukühlen.

Wenn der Ventilator jedoch mehr als 10 Minuten

weiterläuft, ist das ein Zeichen dafür, dass er nicht

automatisch abgeschaltet werden kann, weil die

Raumtemperatur zu hoch ist. In diesem Fall

müssen Sie den Netzstecker ziehen.



Reinigung

Halten Sie die Belüftungsschlitze des Geräts

sauber, um eine Überhitzung des Geräts zu

vermeiden.Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse des Geräts

regelmäßig mit einem weichen Tuch, insbesondere

nach jeder Anwendung. Halten Sie die

Belüftungsschlitze frei von Staub und Schmutz.

Wenn der Schmutz nicht abgeht, benutzen Sie ein

weiches mit Seifenwasser befeuchtetes Tuch.

Benutzen Sie niemals Lösungsmittel wie Benzin,

Alkohol, Ammoniakwasser usw. Diese

Lösungsmittel können die Kunststoffteile

beschädigen.

Lagerung

Lagern Sie das Gerät und das Zubehör außerhalb

der Reichweite von Kindern an einem dunklen und

trockenen Platz oberhalb der Gefriertemperatur.

Die ideale Lagerungstemperatur liegt zwischen 5

und 30°C. Lagern Sie das Gerät in seiner

Originalverpackung.



Sollte eine Störung auftreten, z.B. nach dem

Verschleiß eines Teils, wenden Sie sich bitte an die

Serviceadresse auf der Garantiekarte. Auf der

Rückseite dieses Handbuchs finden Sie eine

auseinandergezogene Darstellung der Teile, die

bestellt werden können.



Um eine Beschädigung während des Transports zu

verhindern, wird das Gerät in einer festen

Verpackung geliefert, die im Wesentlichen aus

wiederverwendbarem Material besteht. Benutzen

Sie deshalb die Möglichkeiten zum Recyceln der

Verpackung.

Beschädigte und/oder weggeworfene

Dit apparaat kan in vrijstaande positie worden

gebruikt voor het verwarmen van afgesloten

ruimtes. Houd een minimale afstand van 1 m

tussen de voorkant van de behuizing en muren,

ontvlambare materialen (meubilair, gordijnen, etc.)

en 30 cm van alle andere zijden van de behuizing

(Afb 2). Het apparaat mag alleen volledig

gemonteerd worden gebruikt als deze verticaal

staat op een stabiele ondergrond. Het is verboden

het apparaat te bedienen op een onstabiel

oppervlak (bijv. op een bed).

Ferm

Het apparaat mag alleen voor het voorgeschreven

doel worden gebruikt. Elk ander gebruik wordt

gezien als een geval van misbruik. De gebruiker, en

niet de fabrikant, wordt aansprakelijk gehouden

voor elke schade en elke vorm van letsel dat

voortkomt uit het misbruik van dit apparaat Het

apparaat is uitstekend geschikt voor grotere

ruimtes. Omdat een groot volume lucht wordt

verwarmd en verspreid, kan de lucht koeler

aanvoelen dan de lucht van een conventionele

straalkachel. Dit is geen tekortkoming van het

apparaat. Het voordeel is dat de volledige ruimte

wordt verwarmd in plaats van alleen het gebied

rond de kachel.



• Controleer dat het apparaat in perfecte staat is

geleverd. Als het apparaat is beschadigd, sluit

het dan niet aan op de voeding.

• Controleer het apparaat, in het bijzonder de

voedingskabel, op tekenen van schade voor

elk gebruik. Als u tekenen van schade vindt,

neem dan contact op met de klantenservice

afdeling.

• Plaats de voedingskabel zodat er geen

struikelgevaar is.

• Leg de voedingskabel tijdens gebruik van het

apparaat niet op hete delen van het apparaat.

• Gebruik de voedingskabel nooit om de stekker

uit het stopcontact te trekken! Gebruik de

voedingskabel nooit om het apparaat te

dragen, of om te proberen het apparaat te

verschuiven door aan de voedingskabel te

trekken.

• Wikkel de voedingskabel nooit rond de

ventilator.

• Klem de voedingskabel nooit tussen objecten,

trek de kabel nooit over scherpe randen en

plaats de kabel nooit boven warme platen of

open vuur.

• Niet geschikt voor commerciële doeleinden.

• Gebruik het apparaat alleen in afgesloten

ruimtes.

• Het apparaat nooit openen of geleidende delen

aanraken – gevaar op dodelijk ongeval!

• Het apparaat nooit in water dompelen – gevaar

• Kinderen moeten altijd onder toezicht staan om

te verzekeren dat ze niet met het apparaat

• Gebruik de kachel niet met een aan/uit timer, of

andere apparaten die het apparaat

automatisch kunnen inschakelen.

• Als een verlengkabel wordt gebruikt, moet

deze zo kort mogelijk zijn en altijd volledig

worden uitgerold. Gebruik alleen

gecertificeerde 3 aderige verlengkabels met

een minimale dikte van 2.5 mm

, geschikt voor

minimaal 2500W.



Controleer de correcte lucht doorvoer door een

blad papier voor de kachel te houden op 10 cm

afstand van de gril, in lucht circulatie modus

(zonder verwarming). Het papier moet van de gril

worden weggeblazen. Als het apparaat voor de

eerste keer wordt gebruikt, of na een lange periode,

kan het een korte tijd een geur uitstoten. Dit is geen

storing. Omdat de kachel werkt met speciale

verwarmingselementen en een hoge levering, kan

de lucht koeler aanvoelen dan die van een

conventionele kachel met ventilator.

Dit is geen storing aan het apparaat.





De ventilator start zodra het apparaat wordt

ingeschakeld. Het apparaat verwarmt alleen als de

kamertemperatuur onder de op de thermostaat

ingestelde temperatuur valt en als de

warmteuitvoer schakelaar aanstaat.

Schakel de gewenste warmte doorvoer in (1). Draai

de bediening (2) naar “max” totdat de gewenste

kamertemperatuur is bereikt. Draai daarna de

bediening lager totdat u een duidelijke klik hoort.

De thermostaat schakelt het verwarmingselement

automatisch aan en uit.



In het geval van overmatige verwarming, schakelt

de verwarmingsfunctie automatisch uit. De

ventilator start opnieuw. Als dit gebeurt schakel dan

het apparaat uit, trek de stekker uit het stopcontact

en wacht enkele minuten zodat het apparaat kan

afkoelen. Na het oplossen van de oorzaak (bijv. een

bedekte gril), kan het apparaat weer worden

ingeschakeld.



Nadat het warme apparaat wordt uitgeschakeld

(door de warmteuitvoer schakelaar op “0” te

zetten), kan de ventilator nog een tijdje draaien om

het apparaat af te koelen. Als de ventilator langer

dan 10 minuten blijft draaien, is dat een teken dat

de ventilator niet automatisch kan uitschakelen

door de hoge kamertemperatuur. In dit geval moet

u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken.

Reinigen

Houd de ventilatiegaten van het apparaat schoon

om oververhitting van de motor te voorkomen.

Reinig het apparaat regelmatig met een zachte

doek, bij voorkeur na elk gebruik. Houd de

ventilatiegaten vrij van stof en vuil. Als het vuil niet

loskomt, gebruik dan een zachte doek bevochtigd

met zepig water. Gebruik nooit oplosmiddelen zoals

benzine, alcohol, ammoniak, etc. Deze

oplosmiddelen kunnen de plastic onderdelen

beschadigen.

Opslag

Sla het apparaat en de accessoires op buiten het

bereik van kinderen in een donkere en droge plaats

boven vriestemperatuur. De ideale

opslagtemperatuur is tussen 5 en 30 °C. Sla het

apparaat op in de originele verpakking.



Mocht zich een storing voordoen, bijv. door slijtage

van een onderdeel, neem dan contact op met het

service adres op de garantiekaart. In het achterste

deel van deze gebruikershandleiding vindt u een

explosietekening die de onderdelen laat zien die

kunnen worden besteld.



Om schade tijdens het transport te voorkomen,

wordt het apparaat geleverd in een stevige

verpakking die voornamelijk bestaat uit recyclebaar

materiaal. Gebruik daarom a.u.b. de optie de

verpakking te recyclen.

Beschadigde en/of afgedankte elektrische

of elektronische apparaten moeten bij een

geschikt recyclingcentrum worden

afgegeven.

Garantie

Kijk voor de garantievoorwaarden a.u.b. op de

apart meegeleverde garantiekaart. Het product en

L’appareil peut être utilisé dans des pièces fermées

dans une position sur pied pour le chauffage de la

pièce. Maintenez une distance minimum de 1 m

entre l’avant du boîtier et les murs, les matériaux

combustibles (meubles, rideaux, etc.) et de 30 cm

entre toutes les autres surfaces du boîtier (Fig. 2).

L’appareil ne doit être utilisé qu’une fois monté

complètement et posé à la verticale sur une surface

stable. Il est interdit d’utiliser l’appareil sur une

surface instable (par ex. sur un lit). L’appareil doit

être utilisé pour le but prévu. Tout autre usage est

considéré comme un usage impropre. Dans le cas

contraire, tous dégâts ou blessures de tout genre

causés seront imputables à l’utilisateur et non au

fabricant. Cette appareil est parfaitement adapté

aux espaces plus grands. Grâce au volume élevé

d’air froid qui est chauffé et distribué, l’air peut

sembler plus frais que l’air provenant d’un

chauffage radiant conventionnel. Il ne s’agit pas

d’un défaut de l’appareil. L’avantage est que tout

l’espace est chauffé au lieu de ne chauffer que

l’espace proche du chauffage.



• Si une rallonge est utilisée, elle doit être la plus

courte possible et doit toujours être déroulée

complètement. Utilisez uniquement des

rallonges à 3 fils avant une section minimum de

3 mm² et pouvant supporter un minimum de

3800 W.



Vérifiez le débit d’air correct en tenant une feuille

de papier à une distance de 10 cm devant la grille

de sortie de l’air en mode ventilateur (sans

chauffage). Le souffle doit éloigner le papier de la

grille de sortie de l’air. Lorsque l’appareil est utilisé

pour la première fois ou après une longue période

d’inutilisation, il peut émettre une odeur pendant un

bref délai. Il ne s’agit pas d’un défaut. Le chauffage

fonctionne avec des éléments chauffants

spécialement encapsulés et une débit d’air élevé,

aussi, l’air émis peut sembler plus frais que celui

d’un radiateur soufflant conventionnel. Il ne s’agit

pas d’un défaut de l’appareil.





Le ventilateur démarrera dès que l’appareil est

allumé. L’appareil ne chauffera que lorsque la

température de la pièce descendra au-dessous de

la température réglée sur le thermostat et si

l’interrupteur de chauffage est sur la position

marche.

Activez le chauffage (1) requis. Tournez le contrôle

(2) sur « max » jusqu’à atteindre la température de

la pièce. Diminuez le contrôle jusqu’à entendre un

déclic. Le thermostat activera et désactivera

automatiquement l’élément chauffant.



En cas de surchauffe, la fonction de chauffage

s’arrête automatiquement. Le ventilateur

redémarrera. Si cela se produit, arrêtez l’appareil,

débranchez la fiche d’alimentation et laissez

l’appareil refroidir pendant quelques minutes. Après

avoir éliminé la cause (par ex. grille de l’air

couverte), l’appareil peut être rallumé.

Arrêt

Lorsque le radiateur chaud a été arrêté (en mettant

l’interrupteur du chauffage en position « 0 »), le

ventilateur peut continuer à fonctionner pendant un

instant pour refroidir l’appareil. Toutefois, si le

ventilateur continue à fonctionner pendant plus de

10 minutes, cela signifie qu’il ne peut pas s’éteindre

automatiquement en raison d’une température

élevée de la pièce. Dans ce cas, vous devez

débrancher la fiche d’alimentation.

Conservez les fentes d’aération de l’appareil

propres pour éviter la surchauffe du moteur.

Nettoyez régulièrement le boîtier de l’appareil avec

un chiffon doux, de préférence après chaque

utilisation. Conservez les fentes d’aération

exemptes de poussière et de saleté. Si la saleté ne

part pas, utilisez un chiffon doux humecté dans

l’eau savonneuse. N’utilisez jamais de solvants

comme l’essence, l’alcool, l’ammoniaque, etc. Ces

solvants peuvent endommager les parties en

plastique.



Rangez l’appareil est les accessoires hors de

portée des enfants dans une sec et à l’ombre qui

n’est pas sujet au gel. La température de stockage

idéale est comprise entre 5 et 30 °C. Rangez

l’appareil dans son emballage d’origine.

Pannes

Si une panne se produit, par ex. usure d’une pièce,

veuillez contacter l’assistance à l’adresse indiquée

sur la carte de garantie. Vous trouverez à l’arrière

de ce manuel une vue éclatée illustrant les pièces

qui peuvent être commandées.



Pour éviter les dégâts durant le transport, l’appareil

est livré dans un emballage solide composé en

grande partie de matériaux réutilisables. Veuillez

par conséquent recycler l’emballage.
