Description:
Honeywell RM7800 2000 Series Controls Now Installed on Beckett Burners:
• Consistent size and configuration with 1000 Series models.
• 2000 Series includes a modified Relay Module and mounting Sub-base hardware.
• Legacy Relay Modules cannot physically fit on to 2000 Series Sub-bases.
• Next Generation 1000 Series controls are compatible with the 2000 Series Sub-bases.
• 2000 Series Relay Modules will not function without utilizing the 2000 Series Sub-bases
(with enabling grounding pin).
2000 Series Sub-base with grounding pin interface
(Honeywell Branded Relay Module and Sub-bases only).
• Maintains the same footprint, size and configuration
• Wiring terminations are identical to the 1000 Series
• 2000 Series Subbase is compatible with the next generation 1000 Series Relay Modules
• 2000 Series Sub-base is not compatible with existing legacy Relay Modules
• Plastic Subbase for control panel installation Q7800B2005, Metal Sub--base for wall mount installation – Q7800B2003
• Enabling Grounding Pin MUST be in place for the 2000 Series Relay Module to operate. If this pin is removed or damaged,
the 2000 Series Relay Module will NOT operate.

There are 4 methods to distinguish between a legacy 7800 and new 2000 Series Relay Module:
• O
pening in bottom - Next generation 1000 and 2000 Series models will have a round opening in the plastic
b
ase of the relay module
allowing the enabling grounding pin to interface with the Series 2000 Relay Module.
• The Run-Test Switch will be in a different location- more centered on the body.
• The SW revision number on the bottom left of the label will start with 5xxx (all legacy models are 4xxx).
• Identification of 2000 Series is via the model number - RM7897C2014, the 8th digit will always be a “2”.
